"Is it good?" Zhou Yating asked.
"Not good!" Zhang Xiaohao shook his head.
"Hmph! Do you think I would believe that? If it weren’t good, would you be watching it so intently?" Zhou Yating was clearly skeptical.
She sat down next to Zhang Xiaohao.
As she watched the TV drama, gradually, Zhou Yating was drawn in.
"Such an exciting drama, how can there be no wine!" Zhang Xiaohao laughed heartily.
He took out a three-hundred-year-old jar of Daughter’s Red from the Shennong Ring, and also so beef jerky.
Right then, drinking Daughter’s Red and eating beef jerky, he earnestly focused on watching.
"Hmm? What’s this, it slls so good! Give a sip." Zhou Yating said.
Her two delicate jade fingers made a quick grab, snatching the Daughter’s Red and taking big gulps.
"Hey! That’s mine!" Zhang Xiaohao exclaid.
Quickly snatching it back, he retrieved the Daughter’s Red once more.
"Delicious! It’s the most wonderful wine I’ve ever tasted!" Zhou Yating spoke with glowing cheeks and shining eyes, the wine making her a bit tipsy.
"Of course, this is Daughter’s Red! A full three hundred years old, you can’t even buy such a fine wine with money!" Zhang Xiaohao said in a huff.
The two continued to watch television, drink wine, and eat beef jerky.
Gradually, Zhang Xiaohao and Zhou Yating drank up the whole jar of Daughter’s Red.
Zhang Xiaohao seed fine, but Zhou Yating was almost completely drunk.
"Ah! It’s so hot! What kind of crazy weather is this?" Zhou Yating murmured softly.
Gulp!
Zhang Xiaohao swallowed instinctively, staring at her intensely.
"Hmph! What are you looking at, Zhang Xiaohao? Haven’t you seen a beauty before?" Zhou Yating said smugly, her face flushed.
"Hehe! Want to eat? Want to try sothing more exciting?" Under the influence of alcohol, Zhou Yating’s inner mischief burst out completely.
Before Zhang Xiaohao could react, everything went dark and a figure rushed at him.
Ten minutes later.
The foreplay was more than adequate, and Zhang Xiaohao let out a low growl.
Suddenly, a loud snore pierced the air.
"Damn! Are you kidding ?" Zhang Xiaohao complained speechlessly.
Looking at the already sleeping Zhou Yating, no matter how he wished, now was definitely not the ti. That’d be no different from a brute!
He dashed to the bathroom.
Turned on the faucet, quickly taking a cold shower.
An hour passed before he cald himself down.
"Damn! That annoying little girl, of all tis to sleep, she picks now!" Zhang Xiaohao thought unhappily.
Leaving the bathroom.
He cleaned up the floor, turned to head outside.
"Hey! Why did you co downstairs?" Sister Zhou asked curiously upon seeing Zhang Xiaohao.
"It’s too hot upstairs, I ca down for so air." Zhang Xiaohao chuckled.
Exiting the villa, breathing in the fresh air, Zhang Xiaohao glanced at the rising morning sun, wearing a wry smile.
"What a beautiful ti, unfortunately, I can’t go out today."
He shook his head, choosing not to dwell on it.
With a flick of his wrist, he took the Nine Dragons Grass out of the Shennong Ring.
Looking at the Nine Dragons Grass, Zhang Xiaohao felt bewildered.
"Should I eat this Nine Dragons Grass to see what happens?" Zhang Xiaohao murmured.
Thinking this, he imdiately swallowed the Nine Dragons Grass.
As it entered his mouth, there was no particular sensation; if anything, it was just a coolness.
A few minutes later.
Zhang Xiaohao playfully blinked and said, "There’s really no change!"
He sat down in the pavilion.
From the Shennong Ring, he took out the half-key.
This was previously given to him by Shangguan Baiyun through Yinuo Qianjin.
"What exactly is this thing? Why didn’t I find its purpose when I was at the Murong Family’s sanctuary?" Zhang Xiaohao said, frowning.
Before in the Murong Family’s sanctuary, he had almost turned the entire place upside down but couldn’t find any clues about the half-key.
"And what about that terrifying sky-covering hand? Who was it? It managed to scatter the Xingtian Battle Axe!" Zhang Xiaohao pondered.
"Could it be that, as the Bull Horn True Demon said, there’s truly a huge secret hidden in the Murong Family’s sanctuary?"
The more he thought, the more puzzled Zhang Xiaohao beca, as if a heavy fog blocked him. Only by lifting this fog could he uncover the truth.
"Hey! Xiaohao, why did you co out?" Suddenly, a jovial laugh sounded from Mr. Cheng. He entered with hands behind his back.
Zhang Xiaohao stowed away the half-key.
"I’m about to suffocate inside, so I ca out for so air." Zhang Xiaohao laughed.
"The old man will join you for a sit." Mr. Cheng smiled.
He sat across from Zhang Xiaohao.
"Got any wine?" Mr. Cheng asked.
"Hey! Grandpa, how did you know I have wine?" Zhang Xiaohao asked curiously.
"I saw Xiao Xue dumping trash this morning, and there was a wine jar inside." Mr. Cheng laughed.
"There’s truly nothing that escapes Grandpa’s notice." Zhang Xiaohao laughed.
He took out a jar of Daughter’s Red, two bottles of 2011 Lafite, and so beef jerky and other braised foods.
"Who knew, it’s really Daughter’s Red! And a 2011 Lafite!" Mr. Cheng’s eyes lit up.
He opened the cork and embraced the jar of Daughter’s Red, slling it.
A few minutes later.
Mr. Cheng finally put down the Daughter’s Red.
"No doubt about it, Daughter’s Red! Just based on the rich wine aroma, there’s at least two hundred years of aging." Mr. Cheng said.
"Grandpa, have you ever tried it?" Zhang Xiaohao asked.
"No. The recipe for Daughter’s Red has been lost, and moreover, Daughter’s Red requires ti to age. The wine brewed this year must wait until the sa ti next year to open!" Mr. Cheng said.
