The story didn't derail much from there. It went as usual and Obadiah did show up and was surprised to see that Tony had adopted a teenage boy. He had already seen Yinsen before in that press conference been taken away in a stretcher.
But who was this kid? Well whatever!
He ca to ask about the arc reactor, to which Tony refused. From that point on, Tony began suspecting Obadiah and even asked Pepper to get information from his private computer. anwhile, Obadiah wasn't exactly sitting on a pile of shit.
Sasuke had burnt down the laboratory but the schematics and the way to build a powered armor [A/N : Dude, this isn't Warhamr] sohow survived in all that heat and he forcefully took it from the terrorists and built one, using privately hired scientists, and even using his brains too.
He wasn't a genius like Tony, but he did have so brains. Better than most of the people of the world at least. But he understood after he finished making it that he needed a power source and Tony had once showed him that.
Thus he had co asking for it under the pretext of taking him to see the doctors and scientists to which Tony refused and set off so of the alarm bells of his. He needed concrete proof.
Thus from there story followed the canon and this guy didn't want any ss and what he did was attack Tony with that Sonic Taser. He specifically ca to his ho, when Haku and Yinsen went out to have so ice cream. It was hot and both of them wanted so relief.
The mont Haku and Yinsen returned with ice cream in hand, sothing imdiately felt wrong.
Too quiet.
The mansion usually had background music, JARVIS speaking occasionally or Tony yelling at machines for not functioning according to his ego. Haku imdiately narrowed his eyes slightly. Years of shinobi instincts kicked in almost instantly.
"...Sothing is wrong."
And before either of them could react further—
"HELP..."
Tony's strained voice echoed weakly from inside the garage. Both of them rushed in imdiately afterward. And what they saw made Haku's expression darken instantly.
Tony lay collapsed near the workshop floor breathing heavily while desperately trying to crawl toward the old arc reactor discarded nearby. His chest looked unstable again while sweat covered his face.
"...Tony!" Yinsen imdiately rushed forward.
Haku anwhile instantly scanned the surroundings.
"JARVIS, who did this?" Haku spoke in a cold tone that even made Yinsen helping Tony, have a chill.
"Sir, Obadiah Stane ca and assaulted Mr. Tony Stark."
Yinsen quickly grabbed the older arc reactor before carefully reconnecting it back onto Tony's chest. After several monts, he finally was back in normal self.
"...Oh thank God..." Tony muttered weakly afterward while collapsing backward. Haku anwhile looked furious now.
"He took it?"
Tony nodded slowly. And then suddenly Tony's eyes widened slightly.
"...Pepper."
Haku imdiately looked toward him sharply.
"What?"
"I sent her..." Tony forced himself upward while breathing heavily. "...Warehouse location... evidence..." She had told him that she had found him possessing the video of him getting kidnapped. Sothing which even he didn't know. And now everything made sense. Haku's expression darkened further afterward.
"...Why would you send her alone to do such dangerous work?"
That question genuinely carried anger behind it. Because from Haku's perspective, this was stupid and very reckless. Pepper wasn't a shinobi. She was a good woman, who didn't need to be dragged into a ssy world. Their world was ssed up from the beginning.
All three of them carried their own traumas, and he didn't want soone who ca as a ray of sunshine to enveloped by darkness.
"Because she was the only one Obadiah wouldn't imdiately suspect!" Tony snapped back before calming slightly afterward. "...And because I trusted her."
"She could've died.." Haku said through his gritted teeth.
"I won't let that happen."
anwhile Yinsen quietly helped Tony stand properly afterward.
"You are barely stable and already planning another battle." Yinsen sighed tiredly.
"Welco to my life." Tony replied imdiately.
Then suddenly Tony looked toward another section of the garage afterward.
"...JARVIS."
"Yes, sir?"
"Open secret secondary storage."
chanical systems shifted nearby afterward. A hidden compartnt slowly opened revealing another suit.
Smaller than Iron Man armor. Sleeker too. Dark white and silver coloration with smooth lightweight plating optimized for mobility rather than brute force. A masked visor completed the design.
"...What is that?"
Tony smirked faintly despite the situation.
"Your suit."
Even Yinsen looked surprised now.
"When did you make this?" He asked.
"It was supposed to be his birthday gift. Well, Happy birthday."
Haku slowly approached the armor afterward. He was moved a bit though it didn't douse the anger he had against this man-child.
"Thank you."
"Theatrics later. I have already sent a ssage to her telling her to stay away. But I think she won't listen to right now and go in depth to understand what Obadiah is hiding." Tony as she suited up, along with Haku.
He had already cut his hair short and thus wearing a full head mask was easier.

The giant warehouse doors had already been blasted open while sirens echoed throughout the industrial district. Pepper stood near several overturned crates breathing heavily while agents around her tried evacuating the area. Coulson was here as expected.
And right in front of her—
Obadiah Stane stood inside a monstrous iron giant.
The Iron Monger armor looked horrifying compared to Tony's sleek Mark III. It looked less like a suit and more like a walking tank designed purely for destruction.
And currently its glowing blue eyes were locked directly onto Pepper.
"You should've stayed out of this, Pepper." Obadiah's distorted voice echoed from inside the armor.
Pepper stepped backward slightly but didn't lose composure completely.
"...You murdered people for money."
"I built an empire." Obadiah corrected coldly. "Tony nearly destroyed it."
Then suddenly—
BOOOOOM.
A red and gold missile blasted straight through the warehouse ceiling.
Obadiah barely turned before Tony crashed into him at full speed like a human cannonball. Both armored suits tore through several steel containers instantly while debris exploded everywhere.
"GET AWAY FROM HER!" Tony shouted furiously.
And thus the fight truly began. Unlike Afghanistan, Tony wasn't fighting terrorists now.
Iron Monger imdiately grabbed Tony mid-air and slamd him directly through a loading crane. Sparks erupted everywhere while steel bent violently. Tony retaliated with repulsor blasts directly into Obadiah's chest.
BOOOOM.
The larger armor staggered slightly backward before instantly firing miniature missiles in return. The explosions lit the entire street afterward. Civilians scread while cars overturned from the shockwaves. The fight was following just like in the canon or at least so part of it.
As the fight went on, Obadiah grabbed Tony again before smashing him through the side of a bus violently. tal twisted inward while Tony's systems flickered dangerously.
"You're a genius, Tony!" Obadiah roared while dragging him across the street. "But you never had the stomach to do what was necessary!"
Tony imdiately blasted upward using full propulsion, kicking Iron Monger directly through several traffic lights.
"...Says the guy trying to murder my most prized asset!"
The two armored giants crashed into another building afterward. Windows exploded outward while alarms echoed everywhere. Pepper anwhile stared upward in complete disbelief. Because sohow her life had turned into robot warfare overnight.
Then suddenly—
Clink.
A tiny senbon needle embedded itself into Iron Monger's neck joints. Obadiah paused briefly.
"...What?"
Another needle struck. Then another. Each one aid perfectly toward vulnerable chanical sections. Tony imdiately recognized the attack pattern.
"Haku! You are finally here. I thought you got lost in the houses running over rooftops." He muttered under his breath. The silver-white blur appeared briefly atop a nearby street lamp before vanishing again instantly. Obadiah growled furiously afterward.
"COWARD!"
Huge machine gunfire erupted wildly toward the rooftops. But Haku was already gone. The shinobi moved absurdly fast through the urban battlefield while constantly disrupting Iron Monger's movents. He had been under Tony for almost a month now and knew how so of the things worked.
Minimal damage individually. But incredibly irritating. anwhile Tony imdiately adapted too. Repulsor blasts started targeting the exact weakened sections Haku disrupted seconds earlier.
For the first ti during the battle, Iron Monger started slowing down. Obadiah realized it imdiately.
"...What IS that thing?!"
Unfortunately for him... Haku finally stopped holding back afterward. The surrounding temperature suddenly dropped. Frost slowly ford across nearby vehicles.
Even Tony noticed it.
"...Oh boy."
Obadiah looked around confused briefly before suddenly massive ice spikes erupted upward from beneath the street violently.
BOOOOM.
Iron Monger barely avoided getting fully impaled before another wave instantly froze half the road beneath him.
"What the hell?!" Obadiah roared.
And then Haku finally appeared directly in front of him. Hand seals ford instantly.
"Ice Style: Thousand Flying Needles."
Hundreds of ice senbon materialized around Iron Monger instantly before launching like a storm.
