"No.. No.. I didn't think so deeply before but you have opened my eyes too." Karin was embarrassed. She really didn't think so deeply about the clan and about revenge. Her life was a tragic one ever since she had known. Her mother struggled a lot.

After she died, her life didn't belong to her anymore. Bullied, used, beaten down.. everything that shouldn't be done to a child, was faced by her. Now she was in a different world and talking about revenge.

She had never thought that far. She didn't know who this handso guy Sasuke was, or his story, but she felt a pain deep inside of him, brewing into sothing else.

Few hours later.

Sasuke was busy practicing his shuriken-jutsu on the trees. He was pouring out all his frustration on the trees and the shurikens. He wanted to refute the words of Rei from before, playing the conversation/debate in his mind over and over, but he couldn't get past the sheer feeling of revenge he had against his brother.

The emptiness. The feeling of a void. Nothing could sever him from that feeling. As he was practicing, from the corner of his eye he saw Rei standing a bit far away and looking at him. Sasuke didn't pay him attention at the beginning and just continued.

But Rei just stood there for a solid 10 minutes and Sasuke got a bit self-aware to ignore him now.

"What? Ca to mock and my revenge again?"

"I never mocked your revenge. In fact I even told you that I will help you in revenge." Rei replied.

"Oh! It didn't feel like that a few hours ago." Sasuke said.

"I said you can go for revenge but also stop this cycle of hatred. Both are mutually exclusive." Rei reminded.

"Hmph!" Sasuke didn't understand that deeply but since he too was tsundere to admit that he didn't understand how both of those could be different, he didn't comnt. He knew that speaking a word again would invoke another round of lectures. So it was better to just ignore it and be glad on the inside that Rei was with him and not against him.

Rei anwhile didn't bother pressing the topic further. There was no point. So lessons could be taught with words and so lessons could only be learned through life itself. Rei knew that eventually he would understand what he ant. Maybe not today.

Instead Rei looked toward the shurikens embedded throughout the trees and then toward his own hand. Ever since Karin had signed the full contract, there had been a strange feeling inside his body. It wasn't rely the increase in chakra reserves or the awakening of Mind's Eye of Kagura.

Sothing else had broken inside of him. A limitation he had been struggling against for months no longer existed.

Hiraishin [Flying Thunder God]

The technique that had consud countless hours of practice.

Previously Rei could use it, technically speaking. The problem was that his version was impractical. Before teleporting he needed ti to establish a complete formula. The marker itself was large, complex and required enough concentration that using it in a real battle was almost laughable.

Shinobi battles weren't slow affairs where opponents politely waited for each other. They were brutal and instantaneous. A jonin could kill soone within seconds. No enemy was going to stand around and allow him to draw a massive formula before teleporting. Which ant his version of Hiraishin was incomplete.

But now he felt sothing different. He took out a specially made kunai from his pouch.

"What are you doing?"

"Testing sothing."

Rei flicked the kunai forward. It embedded itself several dozen ters away into a tree. Then Rei slowly closed his eyes. He didn't do any hand signs or gather chakra. He simply focused on the feeling that had appeared after Karin signed the contract.

He wanted to sense the formula from afar. Slowly he traced two kanji symbols onto the handle of the kunai. Yes, instead of using 5 kanji or more kanji letters, he settled on 2 kanji letters, unlike Minato who used 5 kanji. One would say he was stupid to take that big of a leap.

But could anyone bla him? He had 1/4th and a full Uzumaki bloodline and even had half of the abilities/techniques of Kakashi, which included so fuinjutsu too. And the two kanji letters he used to settle the formula were.

Reincarnation. 再来. [A/N : Minato's was 5. Nin, Ai, No and Ken.]

The essence of his existence. The thing that defined him more than anything else. Sasuke anwhile frowned. What was this guy doing? Throwing a kunai and closing his eyes. After a few seconds Rei opened his eyes once he was able to feel it.

"...That's it? What are you even doing?"

Rei just smiled and threw a second kunai. He took a deep breath and with just a simple tug on his chakra, he vanished. One mont Rei stood beside Sasuke.

The next he was leaning casually against the tree several dozen ters away. Sasuke's shuriken slipped from his fingers.

"...What?"

Rei looked at his own hands. This was his first ti doing it. It wasn't perfect. He needed to control the direction in which he needed to appear. The formula allowed him to appear in any direction near the formula, so he needed to make sure that in a fight he wouldn't appear with his back facing his enemies.

That would be embarrassing. Rei then again tried and this ti with his first kunai. He was beyond delighted to appear at his first marker with just a thought and so loss of chakra, which was negligible to him. It beca more natural each ti.

anwhile Sasuke's entire worldview was collapsing. He had seen Shunshin but this? This was beyond what his eyes could keep up with. No, he was sure that his eyes couldn't see the speed.

It wasn't speed. It was teleportation.

"...Impossible."

Rei threw a new kunai near his feet and appeared in front of him.

"No. Just really difficult."

"You went through two universes?" Sasuke had to ask.

"No. This is a space-ti technique that the Third Hokage gave for graduation." Rei admitted and Sasuke was a bit jealous. Why didn't he get such a gift? Rei could feel his thoughts.

"If you win the tournant, then you might ask him for this technique. It is a forbidden one because this needs a lot of study and concentration. If you think you can learn fuinjutsu then you can try it." Rei said. Sasuke clenched his fists.

This technique seed aweso. Throw a kunai and appear sowhere else. He could bet that even his bastard brother couldn't do it. He needed to learn it and for that he needed to be first in the competition that was, for him, almost two months later.

He needed to be better and stronger.

anwhile, Kakashi also ca to know that Rei had learnt Hiraishin. He was speechless but not that surprised. This guy knew a larger space-ti technique. It would be shaful if he couldn't learn Hiraishin.

He could travel through universes, but couldn't travel small distances? Yeah, who would believe that? But Kakashi was also happy that soone took the mantle of his sensei.

Now, one Rasengan and he could complete the whole legacy. He wondered if he should teach Rasengan as he felt that this guy could learn it faster than anyone. But Rei had other things in mind. He needed to practice the other power that had been brewing inside.

He needed practice for that and probably in seclusion and silence, because he knew that practicing that technique was dangerous and probably harmful for the people around him if he couldn't control it, so he had ti to bring it under his command and that new ability would be his trump card.

While this was happening, the MCU had other stories on track. Because after Tony had refused any help or information to share with Fury, he beca a bit paranoid as he had always been.

So he sent his most trusted agent to get close to Tony.

Black Widow.

But the problem ca on the first day when she showed up for work with Pepper while Tony was practicing boxing with Happy while Haku just stood there correcting him once in a while with his posture.

Haku didn't understand why this guy was even trying, he had JARVIS to help when he was in his suit and the moves that he did were childish at best, but he had to give it to him for being persistent and progressing.

Once Natasha showed up with Pepper, Haku instantly knew sothing was wrong with her and thus he instantly flagged her. He looked at her for a few seconds while Tony and Pepper were talking and asked.

"You are an assassin.. No, you have a word for it. An agent, aren't you?"

This made Natasha, who was happy that Haku approached her, stiffen up with the smile vanishing away instantly.
