"No.. It's no that. I want to know if there are others kinds of contract if Rei could conjure using his kekkei genkai where he could recieve more than just half of my abilities. Wouldn't that be great?" Daichi asked. The words made both Hana and Rei surprised, but for two completely different reasons.

She was surprised as she thought her husband hesitated to give their son new abilities without proper hard work, but no, he wanted to give their son more powers. Why did she even bother with this guy's head who seed to be obsess with the fact that their son was kind of a young genius.

Whatever!

While Rei was surprised that his father could even think about another kind of contract which he never spoke of before. A kekkei genkai normally has different forms. For example the Lava release of i Terumi could be used for attack and defense, though the basic frawork was the sa. And though his supposed 'kekkei genkai' wasn't an elental one, it still must have so other forms, or at least that was what Daichi might have thought.

"What are you talking about? That was already—" And before Hana could even finish, Rei spoke up.

"Actually there is."

Silence. Daichi blinked once. Then very slowly turned toward his son.

"…There is?"

Hana looked equally stunned. "…Rei?"

Rei sighed internally. Honestly, he hadn't planned on revealing the second contract this early. Mostly because the thing sounded deeply questionable morally no matter how one phrased it. Getting full control over another person's free will. It would be fine id it was a criminal, but he could never do that to his own father.

He might be a transmigrator, but not soone with no feelings towards people who showed him nothing but love and care. Still, since Daichi had sohow guessed its existence through pure parental enthusiasm and zero logic… there wasn't much point hiding it anymore.

With another small movent of his hand, a second page materialized into existence beside the first one. Daichi imdiately leaned forward.

"…Oho."

"That is not a reaction normal people make to this kind of weird kekkei genkai," Hana muttered.

Rei handed the second page over. Daichi grabbed it carefully before beginning to read aloud.

"Full acquisition grants 100% compatibility transfer…"

His eyes widened slightly.

"Full acquisition requires defeat condition plus written consent…"

Then his gaze slowly lifted toward Rei.

"…You can take everything?"

"…In theory," Rei corrected calmly. "I haven't tested it."

"…And this defeat condition…" Hana narrowed her eyes suspiciously. "…What exactly qualifies as defeat?"

"…I don't know," Rei admitted honestly. "The contract itself seems to decide that."

That answer sohow made the entire thing even more concerning.

Daichi, anwhile, had gone completely silent. Which honestly worried Hana more than his shouting usually did. Because whenever Daichi beca quiet, it ant he was thinking very hard about sothing dangerous.

And then suddenly—

"I have an idea."

Hana imdiately closed her eyes. "…Of course you do."

Daichi ignored her and enthusiastically slapped his hand onto the table.

"Arm wrestling match."

Rei stared at him.

"…What?"

"We arm wrestle." Daichi pointed between himself and Rei like he had just discovered the greatest strategy in shinobi history. "I deliberately lose. The contract recognizes it as defeat. Boom. Full inheritance."

There was a long silence. Rei looked at him like he had finally lost his mind.

"…Dad."

"Hm?"

"…That is the dumbest thing I have heard this month."

"BUT IT MIGHT WORK!"

"…That sohow makes it worse."

Hana rubbed her forehead again. She had started doing that much more frequently after learning about Rei's ability.

"…When you say it out loud it sounds irresponsible," Daichi admitted.

"Because it is irresponsible!"

Still… despite the insanity of the idea, Rei found himself thinking about it seriously.

The contract wording was vague. It didn't specify combat. It didn't specify hostility. Only defeat. And technically… deliberately losing was still losing.

"…This should not work," Rei muttered.

"Excellent!" Daichi grinned widely. "That ans we should absolutely try it."

"…Your confidence in terrible ideas is honestly inspiring."

Five minutes later, the three of them were sitting around the dining table while Hana watched the upcoming disaster with the exhausted expression of soone questioning every life decision that led her here.

Daichi rolled up his sleeve dramatically.

"Prepare yourself, son."

"…You are intentionally losing."

Rei slowly placed his hand against Daichi's. Then, with his free hand, materialized the second contract once more. For a mont, nothing happened. Then suddenly. The page glowed faintly. A new line appeared by itself.

Defeat Condition Acknowledged.

The room went silent.

"…No way," Rei whispered.

Even Hana looked stunned now.

Daichi, anwhile, looked unbelievably excited.

"IT WORKED?!"

"…I haven't even won yet!"

"Minor details!"

And then Daichi dramatically slamd his own hand downward onto the table.

Thud.

The contract imdiately lit up. For a brief mont, Rei actually thought about letting his father sign it. He knew that his father and mother had both read the clause of full control over the other person and still his father didn't seem to be bothered at all. Though he could see the shifty eyes of his mother, she didn't stop Daichi from signing at all. [A/N : I didn't add that clause when I first wrote in chapter 2, please re-read the clause. It basically allows Rei to control anyone who would sign the full contract. The person wouldn't be a zombie but Rei could direct the person to work on his bidding]

Rei didn't allow Daichi to sign and instead he made the contract disappear.

"…Eh?" Daichi blinked.

"…Rei?" Hana imdiately looked toward Rei.

"…No," Rei finally said.

Daichi tilted his head. "…No?"

"…We're not doing that."

The tone alone made both adults pause. Rei rarely sounded that firm.

"This contract is different," he said quietly. "Not just because it grants full inheritance."

His gaze dropped toward his own hand.

"…It gives control."

The room beca silent again. Because they had all read that clause already. Full control over the contracted individual.

"I don't want that kind of power over people I care about," Rei said after a mont.

Hana quietly watched him.

Daichi too had lost the earlier excitent now.

"…Dad," Rei continued calmly, "…the mont that contract fully activates, I would basically gain authority over you."

Daichi stayed quiet for a few seconds after hearing that. Surprisingly quiet. Usually he would have already shouted sothing ridiculous by now or tried to argue through pure emotional energy alone.

But this ti he simply looked at Rei.

Then he sighed.

"…And?"

Rei blinked once.

"…And?" he repeated slowly.

"Yeah." Daichi shrugged. "I trust you."

The answer ca so casually that for a mont Rei genuinely didn't know what to say. Even Hana looked caught off guard beside him.

Daichi leaned back slightly afterward, crossing his arms. "…Look, I'm not saying this kekkei genkai isn't scary. Because it absolutely is. Honestly, if soone else had this kind of ability, I'd probably report them straight to the Hokage."

"…Dad."

"I'm being honest!"

Then his expression softened a little.

"But you're my son."

Simple words.

Yet sohow heavier than they should have been.

"You think I don't know what kind of kid you are?" Daichi continued. "Rei, you literally get guilty when your mother overworks herself making dinner. Last week you tried to secretly wash dishes because you thought she looked tired."

"…I was attempting efficient household contribution."

"You were standing on a stool because you couldn't reach the sink."

He felt embarrassed by it. During his university life he needed to take care of his own things and though he hated doing all that in the beginning in his own private space that his parents had allowed him to live, he later realized how much of a privilege it was to have his own space . A small space but it was his nonetheless. Thus he took care of himself. He was brought up quite in a privileged way and thus he had never seen too much hard work in his life.

He was the class topper but it never taught him humility. It was the university life that taught him that grades would only take you so high, and after that one needed to face real life to go ahead and navigate complicated relationships with people around. The university life really made him humble.

This was the reason why he would always try to help in household. His current parents weren't as rich as his previous parents, and the least he could do right now was help them.

"That has nothing to do with this." Rei replied.

Daichi groaned dramatically. "…You are really rejecting free power?"

"Yes."

"Even though it could make you much stronger?"

"Yes."

"Even though I'm literally offering?"

"Yes."

Rei sighed quietly before continuing.

"I already took six months adapting to half of Mom's abilities. Half." His gaze shifted toward the contract that had now disappeared completely. "…If I take all of your abilities at once, who knows how much ti it will take this ti."

Taking that path was unnecessary.

"I don't need absolute power imdiately," Rei said calmly. "I just need enough strength to survive and protect the people important to ."
