Xiao Siyi smiled for a while before she suddenly felt some movements behind her. She turned cold suddenly, stood up and said, “Who is it?”
Mu Mingtang immediately snapped out of her dazed expression and stood up.
Was there someone behind the bushes?
This surprise was no small matter, so the women immediately walked towards the back. Xiao Siyi boldly took the lead as Mu MIngtang trailed right behind her.
However, when they went around behind the bushes, they found that there was no one there.
There was nothing but a few scattered leaves on the ground.
Xiao Siyi rummaged and looked around before she murmured strangely, “That can’t be right, I clearly heard something just now. Did I mishear something?”
Only Mu Mingtang, who was looking at the slightly messy heaps of soil on the ground, frowned secretly.
There were indeed people here and they have just left.

Because of this incident, Mu Mingtang’s mood to admire the beautiful flowers suddenly disappeared into thin air. When it was time for the banquet at night, her eyes swept over one man after another in order to see who it was that seemed suspicious.
Xie Xuanchen noticed that Mu Mingtang was staring at a man very seriously, but he didn’t know what she was thinking about. Xie Xuanchen also glanced over, feeling a little unhappy.
He suddenly picked up the teapot and poured some tea for Mu Mingtang. Using his figure, he blocked her sight from the man. Mu Mingtang was at the most important point of her observation, so when her field of vision was suddenly blocked, she couldn’t help but move forward.
When she moved, Xie Xuanchen moved too. Mu Mingtang couldn’t tell if he was doing it on purpose or if he was actually blind. She was frustrated and questioned him, “What are you doing?”
“I’m the one who wants to ask you that,” Xie Xuanchen stated with a gloomy face, “What are you doing?”
“Stop playing around,” Mu Mingtang said, “I’m busy.”
She also pushed him away, leaving Xie Xuanchen to bee overwhelmed as he was entirely taken aback, “You’re mad at me for the sake of another man?”
“I’m not.”
“You even hurt me for someone else.”
Mu Mingtang was shocked. She pointed at herself in disbelief and looked at Xie Xuanchen, “I? Hurt you? Why didn’t I know that I had this ability?”
Xie Xuanchen snorted softly, “Is pain only considered hurtful when it’s a physical injury? I was hurt on a psychological level.”
Mu Mingtang was absolutely disgusted with him acting like a child despite being at an adult-like age. Mu Mingtang rubbed the centre of her brows vigorously and said from the bottom of her heart, “Xie Xuanchen, you are no longer befitting of acting like a baby at your age. If you have anything to say, please go ahead and not disgust me.”
Xie Xuanchen was truly hurt this time. He raised his eyebrows and asked in disbelief, “What did you say? Are you disliking me for being old?”
The couple had always been eye-catching, but with the added ruckus, there were more people who started to glance at them. Mu Mingtang felt embarrassed and hurriedly grabbed Xie Xuanchen, “Alright, okay, we can talk about it when we get home, please just don’t mess with me for now.”
