eting his fiery gaze, Marina felt her heart pounding like a trapped deer.
Her hands gripped the hem of her clothes so tightly her knuckles turned slightly white, and her normally translucent earlobes were now as red as agate.
"Yu—Yuichi!"
That single call completely snapped Shiroko out of his daze.
Looking at the peerless beauty before him, he dashed forward, wrapping his arms around her slender waist and lowering his head to capture her delicate, inviting lips.
Halfway through, a whisper ca from outside the door. "Shinjo, isn't this place already locked? What are we doing here?"
"Don't worry! I've been learning from my cousin for a long ti. It's just a flimsy lock, I can pick it easily. When I do, Momoko, you..."
"Mmm, Shinjo, you're so bad."
Imdiately after, the rustling of clothes could be heard.
Shiroko, who was currently busy, was left completely speechless.
What? Are you guys really that obsessed with this place? Again?!
But he definitely couldn't let them in, so he had to use a little trick.
He fired off a few Thunderbirds, causing the nearby cabinet storing various chemical reagents to shudder. Over a dozen bottles plumted to the floor.
They shattered on the ground with a crisp crash.
The young man, who was concentrating on picking the lock, was instantly startled by the noise. The color drained from his face in a flash.
Then, completely ignoring his female companion, he turned and bolted, screaming as he ran, "A ghost! It's a ghost!"
Seeing this, his companion hurriedly called out, "Shinjo! Shinjo..."
She hoped he would co back and not leave her here all alone.
But how could the young man, currently running on pure adrenaline, pay any attention to her cries?
Watching her boyfriend disappear into the distance, the girl cursed loudly, "Damn you, Shinjo Hiroshi! Don't you ever think about sleeping with..."
Still cursing, the girl ran outside on trembling legs.
Once the footsteps faded away, Marina let out a soft, playful huff. "Yuichi, you've broken up a couple this ti."
Shiroko, however, refused to take the bla for this.
"That guy just lacked a sense of responsibility. I consider this helping that girl see his true colors so she can cut her losses early," he said. "If it were , I would never abandon my lovely Marina under any circumstances."
"Yuichi..."
Shiroko's words completely struck the girl's emotional soft spot.
In an instant, a tear of happiness slipped from the corner of her eye as she smiled.
He lowered his head and gently kissed it away, tasting a faint sweetness.
In the afternoon, on his way back from the restroom, Shiroko was once again stopped by Mikami Yuka.
"Classmate Yuichi, could I make another trade with you?"
The girl's face showed a hint of urgency. Since Shiroko hadn't been to school recently, her family had been out of dicine for several days, leading to fierce argunts at ho.
As a qualified rchant, Shiroko naturally had no reason to refuse when a client ca knocking. "Of course. The usual place after school!"
"Thank you, Yuichi!"
Hearing this, Mikami Yuka let out a long sigh of relief.
She bowed with deep gratitude before turning and walking away.
Watching the girl's retreating back, a slow smile curved Shiroko's lips.
The fruit was about to ripen; it was almost ti for the harvest.
That evening, in Room 502 of the hotel.
Upon seeing Shiroko, the girl skillfully proceeded with the transaction.
An hour later, the deal was concluded.
They remained silent as Shiroko drove her to her doorstep, just like before.
By the roadside, looking at Shiroko inside the car, Mikami Yuka thanked him softly, "Yuichi, thank you for bringing ho."
"You're welco! But rather than 'Classmate Yuichi', I'd prefer it if you just called Yuichi."
Hearing this, the girl hesitated for a mont before saying softly, "Goodbye, Yuichi!"
"Mhm! Goodbye!"
Nodding with a faint smile, Shiroko started the engine and drove off.
Staring at the silhouette of the Lamborghini until it completely disappeared, the girl let out a soft, long sigh before walking into her house.
The mont she stepped through the door, she slled a thick stench of alcohol perating the air.
Furrowing her delicate brows, Mikami Yuka imdiately headed toward the living room.
There, she saw her father drinking himself into a stupor alone at the table.
Seeing this, the girl's frown deepened. She slowly approached him and asked, "Dad, why are you ho alone? Where's Mom?"
Faced with her question, the man acted as if he had been greatly provoked. He violently smashed the liquor bottle in his hand onto the floor and roared, "Don't ntion that bitch to !"
The man would never forget the sight he had witnessed that evening—his wife clinging to a black man's arm, walking out of a love hotel with a blissful expression on her face.
How dare she? How could she do such a thing?!
"Dad, did you and Mom have another fight? Go bring her back. I brought the dicine. Our family can go back to the way it used to be..."
As she spoke, Mikami Yuka pulled out a pinky-sized vial from her pocket, its contents emitting a faint purple glow under the light.
Seeing the item, the man snatched it away, intending to smash it heavily onto the floor.
But in the next second, noticing Mikami Yuka's figure—which had clearly beco much more voluptuous after her nurous transactions—a wolf-like glint flashed in his eyes.
He popped the cork and downed it in one gulp.
As the cool, sweet liquid flowed into his stomach, a familiar sensation washed over him once again.
Then, staring at Mikami Yuka like a ravenous wolf, the man spoke in a low, hoarse voice, "Yuka, I've raised you for so long. It's ti for you to repay !"
With that said, he lunged at her before she could even react.
Instinctively, the girl took a step back, dodging his attack.
But the man had no intention of stopping there...
"Ding..."
On the broad road, Shiroko, who was speeding along, heard an urgent system prompt ring in his ears.
He slamd on the brakes. Accompanied by the fierce friction of tires against the asphalt, the Lamborghini screeched to a halt.
'What's going on? Didn't Yuka just go ho? Why is she in danger?!' he thought.
Although confused, Shiroko hurriedly stored his car away and imdiately chose to teleport.
The mont he arrived, he saw a man shoving Mikami Yuka heavily to the floor, attempting to...
"You're courting death!"
Seeing this, Shiroko flew into a rage and delivered a vicious whip kick straight at him.
