WONYOUNG didn’t want to prolong his agony, but he needed ti to prepare.
Plus, the hospital wasn’t exactly the right place for a confrontation, especially when the kids were with them.

"Papa, do you know why you woke up?" Yun Yuhyun, who was sitting on Wonyoung’s lap now, asked excitedly. "It’s because of true love’s kiss!"

Yun Yuhyun definitely read that ’true love’s kiss’ from a fairy tale book.
"So, it was your kiss that saved , huh?" Of course, Wonyoung would play along with his adorable son. "Thank you, Yuhyun-ah."
"You’re welco, Papa," Yun Yuhyun said proudly, but the proud look on his face was suddenly replaced by worry. And he found out why his son had that kind of expression because of what the child said next: "But Daddy said that it was wrong to kiss people in their sleep without consent."
Woah?
I’m glad that Dujun Hyung has already taught our son about consent this early.
"But Papa said I can kiss and hug you anyti, right?" Yun Yuhyun asked while looking up at Bae Wonyoung with huge, sparkling eyes. "I didn’t do sothing bad, did I?"
"Yes, baby. You didn’t do anything wrong," Wonyoung assured his son. "You can kiss and hug anyti, especially if it’s to save my life."
Yun Yuhyun imdiately bead. "I got it, Papa. I’ll give you my true love’s kiss whenever you’re sick. But please don’t get sick again. You always fall asleep for too long."
It wasn’t ’always.’
But I get where my son is coming from since I’ve already fallen into a comatose state once.
Speaking of which...
"How long was I out this ti?" Wonyoung asked out loud, to no one in particular. "I didn’t fall into a comatose state, did I?"
"No, you didn’t fall into a comatose state," Yun Dujun said, answering his questions calmly. "You were out for a little over 24 hours, though."
Oh, damn.
No wonder I still feel sluggish.
"The doctors said you can rest at ho," Yun Dujun added. "We can get you discharged whenever you’re ready, Wonyoung-ah."
Is Hyung acting, or is he really worried about ?
Wonyoung hated how he couldn’t trust Yun Dujun anymore, even though he had yet to confront the Alpha.
He couldn’t jump to conclusions, after all.
Moreover, he couldn’t verify yet if what he had seen earlier was just a dream or a piece of his missing mories.
"Appa, are you alright?" An Baekya asked worriedly. "You suddenly fell silent."
Wonyoung looked at An Baekya, and then his eyes widened a bit when the realization hit him.

An Baekya had mories of his past life.
Maybe he knows sothing about Dujun Hyung’s goal for staying married to , even after I gave birth to Yun Yuhyun. Any clue will do.
Wonyoung had to gather pieces of information first.
After all, I can’t confront Dujun Hyung yet. What will I say if he asks about how I found out everything? What if he accuses of losing my mind? If Dujun Hyung doesn’t really love , then he might use my ’ntal illness’ to divorce imdiately and take custody of the kids.
He knew he was overthinking, but he couldn’t help it.
"Wonyoung-ah, you still look unwell," Yun Dujun said, apparently worried about Wonyoung’s well-being. "Maybe we should stay one more night here."
"No, I want to go ho, Hyung," Wonyoung said weakly. He couldn’t help that he was sad about Yun Dujun’s potential ’mask.’ Fortunately, he was still sick. Hence, the Alpha would just think that he had no energy yet after waking up from a long slumber. "But, Hyung, can we bring An Baekya ho with us for tonight?"
"Of course. That’s actually the plan since your cousin is staying out late tonight for a group project," Yun Dujun explained. "Let just process your discharged papers first."

"YOU’RE SLEEPING in An Baekya’s room tonight?"
Wonyoung nodded.
If he hadn’t seen that ’dream,’ he might have found Yun Dujun’s sulking cute.
After all, the Alpha was acting like he didn’t want to part with him, even for one night.
But I don’t know what’s real or not when it cos to Dujun Hyung anymore. He’s an excellent actor, after all.
Hence, he couldn’t wait to find an excuse to confront the Alpha.
And that was why he needed to talk to An Baekya in private tonight.
"It’s been a while since I’ve seen Baekya, Hyung," Wonyoung said. It wasn’t really that long, but he genuinely missed An Baekya. "I wanna give him my undivided attention while he’s here."
"Have you told Yuhyun?" Yun Dujun asked, less sulky this ti. "Baekya and Yuhyun can’t stay together in the sa room since it’s bad for them."
"Yeah. Our son said he understands."
"Really? Our Yuhyun gave up easily? He didn’t throw a tantrum?"
"I promised him we’d go on a date later— just the two of us."
"Ah, I see," Yun Dujun said, nodding. "Then you also owe a date."
"Huh?"
"I’m sad that we’re not going to sleep together tonight, Wonyoung-ah."
Wonyoung’s heart almost wavered.
Forget the fact that he was weak to Yun Dujun’s face— he couldn’t deny that he still loved the man.
It’s not like my feelings for Hyung can disappear overnight.
"Alright, Hyung," Wonyoung said, forcing himself to smile. Yes, he still loved Yun Dujun. But that also didn’t an he could trust him fully in the anti. "Let’s go on a date later."

"IS GAYOUNG taking good care of you, Baekya?" Wonyoung asked while he and An Baekya were sitting across from each other on the carpeted floor of the kid’s bedroom. They had already changed into their pajamas for tonight. But, instead of sleeping, they decided to have a serious conversation over a cup of hot chocolate that Chef Park Bin had made for them. "Have you settled well in your new house?"
"Yes, Appa. Don’t worry about too much. Aunt Gayoung treats so well as if I were her son," An Baekya assured him. "Appa, you look troubled ever since we left the hospital. Is sothing bothering you?"
As expected for a ’kid’ with the ntality of an adult, An Baekya had caught on.
"Baekya, I think I just retrieved a piece of my mory while I was unconscious."
"Oh? What did you see, Appa?"
Wonyoung paused for a mont, gathering his thoughts first before he opened his mouth. "Baekya, do you rember Dujun Hyung starring in Director Bang’s Childhood Sweethearts? You were young when it aired, but maybe you rember about it?"
"Childhood Sweethearts was a classic hit, so I watched it when I decided I wanted to be an actor. I was a fan of Yun Dujun-ssi in the past, after all," An Baekya said. "Plus, Yun Dujun-ssi’s role in Childhood Sweethearts was very morable. Even two decades later, people still talked about it."
"Really?"
"It was the first and the last ti Yun Dujun-ssi played the role of a himbo who loved his husband and son so much. The entire country fell in love with his role back then. That was how Yun Dujun-ssi got the title ’Nation’s Doting Husband’ and ’Nation’s Best Father.’"
Wonyoung smirked bitterly. "Really?"
"Why do you sound bitter, Appa?"
"In the mory I retrieved, Dujun Hyung only stayed married with because he wanted to practice the role of being a doting husband to , and a loving father to Yuhyun. He didn’t love — he only used to perfect his role for Director Bang’s drama."
"Oh."

Wonyoung found An Baekya’s reaction pretty suspicious.
"Baekya, do you know sothing?"
"It’s sothing that I heard from the older Yuhyun before, Appa," An Baekya said awkwardly as if he wanted to spare Wonyoung’s feelings. But, in the end, the kid still told him the truth: "Apparently, Lee Heeju revealed the truth to you, Appa. And, when you confronted Yun Dujun-ssi, he admitted everything. Then he asked you for divorce."
Oh.
So, Wonyoung wasn’t hallucinating.
That heartbreaking mont really happened.
Dujun Hyung only used to prepare for his role...
Then it might be the sa thing as the present.
"Appa, many things have already changed since we went back in ti, though," An Baekya said, probably in an attempt to comfort Wonyoung. "Maybe Yun Dujun-ssi has truly fallen in love with you this ti."
"That’s what I want to know, too. But how could I bring it up to Hyung? What will I say if he asks where I found out that he’s just using to prepare for an audition?"
"Lee Heeju."
"Huh?"
"Appa, this is an opportunity for you to find out the truth and ruin Lee Heeju’s relationship with Yun Dujun-ssi," An Baekya said, smiling ’innocently.’ "Why don’t we bla it all on Lee Heeju, so he’d end up earning Yun Dujun-ssi’s wrath?"

Wonyoung felt a shiver down his spine after seeing An Baekya’s smile.
It was kind of creepy to see a child smile as if he were planning to burn the world.
I’m glad Baekya is on my side.

WONYOUNG got the perfect chance to et Lee Heeju without appearing suspicious when Yun Dujun asked for his permission to et that ahjussi.
They were having breakfast with the kids then.
"Wonyoung-ah, can I go and visit Lee Heeju today?"
Yun Dujun really didn’t have to get Wonyoung’s permission to visit his friends, but he appreciated that since the Alpha knew he didn’t like Lee Heeju that much.
Anyway, this is a good opportunity for and my plan.
"That’s fine with , Hyung," Wonyoung said, pausing for a mont. "But can I go with you?"
Yun Dujun looked surprised. "You want to et Lee Heeju?"
