AH, Dujun Sunbae-nim’s mother is a crazy bitch.
That was Wonyoung’s first thought while ’watching’ an old mory play in his head like a (tragic) movie.
The ’scene’ playing at the mont seed to be taking place at a mansion.
Or a penthouse.
It was probably Yun Dujun’s place, though.
Moreover...
I have a baby bump.
It was embarrassing for Wonyoung to see himself with a big stomach after being fit all his life. Plus, after living in a ’non-ogaverse world’ for so long, he found male pregnancy a little strange.
So, he felt weird seeing himself pregnant.
It was like a harsh reminder that he was truly back in the world inside a novel.
"If you weren’t pregnant with my son’s baby, I would have killed you already."
Aigoo.
How could you say that to your son-in-law, Actress Kang Chunja-nim?
Kang Chunja was an elegant middle-aged woman possessing a ’cold beauty,’ draped in designer goods from head to toe that made her look more unapproachable.
And, yes, the veteran actress was obviously looking down on Wonyoung.
Okay, from now on, I’m no longer a fan of Actress Kang Chunja-nim.
The Wonyoung in the ’scene’ also seed to be feeling the sa way.
He could see the clear disappointnt on his own face.
"Mother-in-law, why do you hate so much?"
"Do I need a reason to hate a disgusting male Oga like you?"
Aigoo.
Wonyoung raised an eyebrow and wondered.
If Kang Chunja-nim were in the ’real world,’ does it make her a homophobe? But since this is an ogaverse, does it make her an ’ogaphobe?’
Ha. Ha. Ha.
Yeah, his joke was la, but whatever.
"Mother-in-law, it’s not my fault that Chairman Yun chose his legal partner— a male Oga— over you."
Wonyoung was flabbergasted by the other Wonyoung’s bluntness.
Oookay. So, Chairman Yun’s spouse is a male Oga.
That was sothing he should probably know, but had forgotten.
Maybe Bae Gayoung was right about going to the hospital for my mory loss?
It was troubleso, though.
"In the first place, you’re the mistress, Mother-in-law. Well, I’m not sure you even qualify to be called a ’mistress’ since you only forced yourself on Chairman Yun."
Wonyoung covered his mouth with his hands when the other Wonyoung said that.
No, you did not...
But, yes, the other Wonyoung just shaded his mother-in-law rcilessly.
No wonder Kang Chunja slapped the other Wonyoung on the face— hard.
"How dare a lowly male Oga like you talk to that way?"
"Are male Ogas really below female Betas? Then how co you lost twice to us, Mother-in-law? Chairman Yun chose to stay with his male Oga spouse. Then, Dujun Sunbae-nim chose to be his baby’s mother even though he knew his mother hates male Ogas."
Kang Chunja’s face turned red in anger— and probably embarrassnt— before she slapped the other Wonyoung on the face again.
On the other cheek this ti, to be precise.
Aigoo.
Wonyoung touched both of his cheeks, even though he wasn’t the one who got hit twice. "That must have hurt..."
And he was right because the other Wonyoung verbally expressed his pain.
"Your slaps hurt, Mother-in-law. But I guess what I said hurt you more. It’s the truth anyway, so I won’t apologize."
"You better pray that you give birth to my grandson safely, because if you don’t, I’ll kill you. He’s the only one keeping you alive, Bae Wonyoung."
"Oh, no. I’m so scared, Mother-in-law."
Aigoo.
Wonyoung wanted to complain and say that the other Wonyoung was being too reckless with his sarcasm, but the ’scene’ had already changed.
It was as if soone put the ’movie’ in fast-forward.
This ti, he found himself sitting on the backseat of a moving car.
Oh.
Wonyoung was sitting next to the other Wonyoung, and it kinda felt strange to see himself rubbing his baby bump affectionately.
Yes, he could see the warmth in his past self’s eyes.
Plus, the other Wonyoung was talking to his unborn baby.
"Bulgogi, forget everything you’ve heard earlier."
Pfft.
It was normal for Koreans to give their unborn baby a pet na.
But I chose ’Bulgogi’ as Yun Yuhyun’s pet na when he was still in my womb?
’Bulgogi’ literally ant ’fire at.’ It referred to thinly sliced at, usually beef, marinated in a sweet and savory sauce, then grilled on a barbecue or on a stove-top griddle.
Am I obsessed with beef or sothing?
Anyway, Wonyoung couldn’t believe that he had forgotten about that silly pet na.
"Don’t worry, Bulgogi— I’ll give birth to you, even if it kills ."
Aigoo.
Wonyoung was surprised to hear himself say sothing he didn’t rember.
"Why do you want to give birth to Yun Yuhyun that badly?"
Of course, he only asked that out loud without waiting for an answer.
Hence, he didn’t expect the other Wonyoung to respond.
"Because we need to correct the mistakes that we made the first ti."
What?
That gave Wonyoung the chills.
But before he could even ask what his past self actually ant by that, the car suddenly swerved to avoid the car that was obviously bulldozing its ways toward them on purpose.
Wonyoung saw Kang Chunja in the driver’s seat of the other car.
Ah, so this is how the ’accident’ happened— I unintentionally provoked my mother-in-law into killing after our argunt.
And that was the end of the ’movie.’
***
WHEN Wonyoung opened his eyes, he found himself in the hospital.
Again.
Fortunately, this ti, he was in what seed like a general ward and not a private room.
Plus, the person who greeted him...
"Wonyoung Oppa!"
Oh, it’s Bae Gayoung.
"Kid, how did you get here?"
"I was calling you because you forgot to tell your new address. But soone else picked up my call. It was the taxi driver," Bae Gayoung explained, tears welling up in her eyes. "He said you got into an accident."
Oh, right.
Wonyoung tried to get up.
His body felt a bit heavy, and his muscles ached a little.
But, overall, it was tolerable.
His younger cousin still looked worried, though.
"Careful, Oppa," Bae Gayoung said worriedly. "You have a sprained wrist."
Oh?
Wonyoung got up carefully this ti, and then he looked at his left hand.
It was wrapped in a bandage.
Ah, right.
I must have sprained it when I used my hand to break my fall.
"The taxi driver said you fainted after you hyperventilated, Oppa."
"I hyperventilated?"
"Oppa doesn’t rember?"
Wonyoung just massaged his temples.
"Seriously, Oppa," Bae Gayoung said, frustrated. "First, mory loss. And, now, you can’t rember sothing that happened only an hour ago? There must be sothing wrong with your brain."
"Yah. How can you say that to your oppa?"
"No, I’m not being rude, Oppa. I an it in a literal sense. Ever heard of ’mom brain?’"
Oh.
Yeah, Wonyoung heard of that before.
According to small studies, ’mom brain’ is the existence of cognitive change after giving birth. Apparently, it causes forgetfulness, fogginess, and a feeling of being scatterbrained.
He didn’t want to admit this, but those symptoms kind of applied to him?
But should I really be worrying about that now? The Wonyoung in my mory said sothing about correcting a past mistake. What did he an by that?
Ah, maybe Wonyoung should really do sothing about his shitty mory, after all.
"Oppa, it’s worrying that aside from mory loss, you forget things now. That has never happened before. You have a sharp mory. That’s how you morize long scripts easily."
That’s true...
"Plus, as far as I know, ’mom brain’ can be linked to postpartum depression, Oppa."
"Gayoung-ah, I gave birth to Yun Yuhyun five years ago. Isn’t it too late for that?"
"That’s true, but you’ve been ’asleep’ for five years, Oppa. You just woke up a few months ago," Bae Gayoung said worriedly. "What if you’re experiencing the symptoms of ’mom brain’ and postpartum depression belatedly?"
Oh.
Oh.
Wonyoung blinked, now confused and a little scared.
Could that really be the reason for my mory loss and forgetfulness these days?

"DADDY, when are we going to Sola Land & Luna Ocean Kingdom?"
Ah, right.
Yun Dujun almost forgot that he had made a silly promise with his son as a bribe.
And Yun Yuhyun reminded him of that after he read a book to the child.
Tucking your son in bed and reading him a book is a good sign of being a doting father, after all.
"We can go this weekend."
Yun Dujun was practically unemployed for the next few months, anyway.
His promise made his son’s face beam with happiness and excitent.
"Can Uncle Heeju co with us?"
"No."
Yun Yuhyun’s smile disappeared quickly. "But we always go with Uncle Heeju..."
"Not this ti. I’m actually thinking of bringing your Appa with us."
His son didn’t say anything, but the child was obviously disappointed.
Yun Dujun didn’t pacify the child this ti.
There’s another person I want my son to get attached to.
"Yuhyun-ah."
"Yes, Daddy?"
"Do you want to go snowboarding in Japan?"
Yun Yuhyun bead again while nodding eagerly. "I’d love to, Daddy!"
"Then convince your Appa to live with us," Yun Dujun said, giving his son a small smile while gently patting the child’s head. "If you succeed, we’ll go on a long vacation in a country of your choice."
***
"SIR, I received two reports from our Intel Team."
Yun Dujun sat behind his desk in the study before lifting his head.
Han Myung stood before him while holding so docunts in his hands.
"Which one should I report first?" Han Myung asked politely. "The report about Bae Wonyoung-nim or the report about the child?"
"What did Bae Wonyoung do this ti?"
"Bae Wonyoung got into a car accident."
Since Han Myung looked calm, Yun Dujun figured his husband hadn’t been seriously injured.
Otherwise, Han Myung would have reported it imdiately.
"Fortunately, Bae Wonyoung-nim only suffered a sprained wrist."
As expected.
"Is it really an ’accident?’"
"Yes, sir. The taxi that Bae Wonyoung-nim collided with another car, and the driver of that car was a drunk man," Han Myung answered politely. "Our team has already investigated the incident and concluded that it was purely an accident."
"I see. As a loving husband, I’ll visit Bae Wonyoung later," Yun Dujun nodded, and then he leaned against the seat before asking, "What about the child?"
"We’ve already found An Baekya, sir."
