"Hehe! Nami, you're amazing!"
"Got it."
Zoro also grabbed her arm without hesitation.
Their descent imdiately slowed, no longer plumting at the sa terrifying speed.
Zoro felt a rare sense of admiration. The cunning thief who used to be unreliable had now beco soone he could depend on in monts like this.
"Waaah! Nami!"
Chopper cried out from a distance, still flailing helplessly as he tried to reach her.
"Huh?"
Nami froze for a brief mont after grabbing the two.
She had miscalculated.
The Golden Wing ford from the gold she carried could not support the weight of three people.
Their speed suddenly increased. What had been a controlled glide turned into a rapid descent toward the massive tree below.
"Well, at this point, there's only one option."
"Cat Burglar" Nami glanced down at the two gripping her arms. A sweet and playful smile spread across her face as she spoke in a light tone,
"Sorry, you two. I have to prioritize myself. With your strength, a fall like this won't kill you, right?"
"Huh? What are you doing?!"
Usopp's eyes widened in horror, his hair standing on end as a terrible premonition hit him.
"Wait! Nami! Don't you dare!"
"Hehe!"
Nami simply stuck out her tongue mischievously.
"See you at the bottom!"
In the next instant, the gold covering her hands dispersed into fine particles.
Their grip slipped.
"Uh…"
Usopp instinctively tried to grow vines to grab her, but his hands caught nothing but air.
"Nami, you…!!!"
Zoro's body dropped rapidly.
"So habits never change," he muttered, veins bulging as he glared upward at the smiling woman hovering safely in the air.
"You treacherous woman, you still betray your teammates without hesitation!"
Whoosh!
The two spun as they fell.
"Chopper, I'm coming!"
Without a second thought, Nami abandoned them and flew toward the trembling reindeer.
"Damn you, Nami! You really left us behind!"
Usopp clenched his teeth, then focused intensely, trying to activate the power of the Mori Mori Fruit.
The feeling of nature… co on!
A deep green glow flickered in his eyes as he sensed the imnse vitality within the massive ancient tree below.
"Sure-Kill Technique, Pop Green…"
He pulled back his slingshot, forming a special seed in his hand before firing it downward.
"Trampoline Tree!"
Whoosh!
The projectile sliced through the air and embedded itself into the ground below.
For a brief mont, nothing happened.
Then…
A small green sprout erged.
Rustle…
Another followed, then another.
In seconds, a dense cluster of tender sprouts burst from the soil. They rapidly grew, forming dozens of thick saplings over a ter tall.
"Zoro! Aim for those! These Trampoline Trees can absorb the impact!"
Usopp shouted before shutting his eyes and bracing himself as he crashed toward them.
"Got it!"
Zoro chose to trust him. Despite his usual cowardice, Usopp was dependable when it mattered.
Whoosh!
Boing!
Their bodies slamd into the elastic branches. The saplings bent deeply, turning dark purple as they absorbed the impact.
Creak, creak…
Then, with a powerful rebound, the trees snapped back.
"Ahhh!"
Whoosh!
Both of them were launched back into the sky.
"Zoro, save !!!"
Usopp scread, flailing wildly.
Zoro gripped his sword in silence, his expression dark.
You are the one who made this…
And now you want to save you?
Boing!
They shot upward again, suspended briefly before gravity pulled them down once more.
"Waaahhh!!!"
Another bounce followed.
Then another.
After several rebounds, the force gradually weakened.
This ti, neither of them scread.
Usopp finally relaxed as the height of their bounces decreased. The danger had passed.
"Not bad."
Nami, already on the ground with Chopper, covered her mouth and smiled charmingly as she watched them descend.
"You horrible woman!"
Usopp shouted angrily, punching the air.
"You abandoned your own crew!"
"Huh?"
Nami puffed out her chest and rolled her eyes.
"Isn't that obvious? I protect myself first, then worry about you."
"Damn it! You've beco even more unreasonable than before!"
Usopp continued shouting in frustration as he waved his fists helplessly.
