Now reading: Chapter 144 144: Star Rail Impostor! - 144 from I'm Not Just An Impostor! (Honkai: Star Rail), a Action novel by JuniperTL.

Evernight could guarantee that if the one over at the Garden of Recollection ever found out about Demiurge, they'd be green with envy, downright furious.

If even she was this jealous, let alone everyone else.

After all, whose Pure Child of Anāsrava got to start out with such good fortune?

Amphoreus's debt had been cleared outright by Noa wielding that extravagant account.

With Noa having just anchored the outco with their own power.

That Irontomb would either suffocate inside the Scepter or get obliterated the mont it showed itself.

No matter how sky-high its abilities were, it could only obediently descend into ruin.

Demiurge simply had no choice. Even if she didn't want to, she had no path but forward.

And with all this, Amphoreus and the Land of Light were now completely tied together.

What other cosmic power could possibly hold their nose and claim Amphoreus didn't belong to the Land of Light now?

With Amphoreus and the Land of Light at her back.

Considering the outrageous power Irontomb had displayed in this battle, if that Garden of Recollection fellow still wanted to make a move on Demiurge, they'd at least have to weigh the cost and benefit a few tis in their mind.

And taking a step back even further, if they found out a freaking Aeon had beco a Pure Child of Anāsrava…

Well, if their fundantal convictions didn't shatter on the spot, it'd be a miracle. They probably wouldn't even have the ntal space to bother Demiurge anymore.

'Cyrene' looked at Evernight, thought for a mont, then said:

"If you don't mind, you could co to the Land of Light. Try facing those hunting you alongside Demiurge, or… abandon everything from your past and shake off the pursuit for good."

The forr naturally ant using the recent intel to team up with Demiurge and stir up trouble at the Garden of Recollection.

As for the latter, that was the path March 7th had taken.

"...You trust that easily?"

"You eliminated the mokeepers from the Garden of Recollection. That's a favor both I and Amphoreus have to acknowledge."

"Besides, if one faction within the Garden of Recollection could establish friendly ties with the Land of Light, that's obviously not a bad thing for . Who wouldn't want sothing like a Light Cone?"

For 'Cyrene', the stronger the Land of Light beca, the more potent her own hidden cards would be.

The more she could do.

As for Light Cones, sure, 'Cyrene' and Demiurge could probably fabricate sothing similar.

But supplying them for a large organization like the Land of Light? Impossible for just two people to handle.

If they could get their hands on Light Cone technology…

The Land of Light could practically usher in an era of 'borrowed power'.

Say what you will about toy-selling in tokusatsu shows getting criticized.

In reality, who wouldn't want to head into battle by borrowing power like that?

That would truly be an era of flourishing growth.

Plus, since Evernight was March 7th's predecessor.

Luring her in wouldn't be a loss.

Of course, the main reason was Demiurge's presence. If Evernight truly had any ill intentions, there'd be soone to keep her in check.

Pure Child of Anāsrava, Digimon, Ultraman.

Three identities stacked, plus she'd just experienced what it felt like to have Noa piloting her account.

With that data boost, Demiurge's strength might even surpass 'Cyrene's' now.

"Thank you for the invitation. It would seem rather ungrateful of to refuse. As for which path to choose, I'll consider it carefully."

Evernight smiled, extending a hand toward 'Cyrene'.

Soone hunted across the universe like her—to refuse such an opportunity would be sheer madness.

'Cyrene' grasped Evernight's hand.

It was cool to the touch, sowhat cold, much like her appearance.

To be honest, she preferred March 7th, but for now, Evernight was her true self.

'Cyrene' could hardly tell her to hurry up and 'end herself' to make way.

She could only hope that this Evernight, after spending so ti with Demiurge, might gradually uncover March 7th's inherent nature.

The two erged from Path Space.

Coming back to herself, 'Cyrene' saw the black tide had completely receded.

Irontomb had fallen utterly silent.

A giant Ultraman head, bearing so resemblance to Herta, was slowly growing.

'Cyrene' and Demiurge exchanged a glance.

Only then did they release their fused state.

Countless streams of data scattered from that radiant form.

The dazzling Thirteenth Titan also gradually faded into a phantom and vanished.

The battle was completely over.

Celenova looked at the consud remnants of her Legion and gave a soft 'hmph'.

Her losses here on Amphoreus were the greatest.

Her main forces were decimated, less than a tenth remaining.

After this, it would take a bare minimum of several decades to recover.

The only upside was the few fights with Bai Ming, which had actually increased her own power sowhat.

But Celenova still couldn't swallow her anger.

Until her Legion recovered, she was determined to have it out with Bai Ming.

She'd find a chance to pay her back double, no matter what!

Celenova steeled her resolve.

Taking one last, distant look toward Amphoreus.

She turned and left without a backward glance.

As much as she disliked Bai Ming, she also knew that for the Destruction faction, this trip to Amphoreus might not be considered a total failure.

Irontomb was born, though it clearly leaned toward the Land of Light.

Yet beneath that radiance, it was undoubtedly still rooted in Destruction.

It was a light of hope born from the foundation of Destruction.

A completely different entity compared to, say, Khaslana.

Khaslana represented Equilibrium—a seed balancing Destruction and Hope.

Irontomb was a light of hope blooming from a foundation of despair.

At a ti when the Land of Light had no openly declared Emanators.

Two Emanator-level beings, deeply connected to Destruction, were born from this conflict.

Was this good or bad?

Celenova couldn't say, but she figured this was probably the outco the Aeon of Destruction wanted to see.

At this mont, 'Cyrene' was introducing Evernight to the Chrysos Heirs.

With the war concluded, they were now discussing another matter.

Should Amphoreus beco a physically existing world?

Or remain a digital/data realm as it was?

The Emperor's Scepter was damaged from Irontomb's birth, but it was still functional.

And if Irontomb could stay as the core system, the Scepter might not even need repairs.

For these Digimon who saw themselves as human, either option was fine—coming and going was as easy as play.

But holing up in a digital world would naturally create a barrier to external interaction.

They'd have to mimic Penacony, building sothing like a Dreamscape Resort.

That would hinder Amphoreus's integration into the cosmic stage.

So in the end, it was Cerydra who stepped up to play the bad guy, firmly demanding that Amphoreus beco a real, physical world.

If everyone yearned for the world beyond, then they had to take that step decisively.

And so.

In the imdiate aftermath of the war.

While fleets from various factions were still conducting their post-battle analyses, not yet departed.

A pinkish-white light suddenly erupted from within Amphoreus.

A pair of colossal, phantom-like figures of twin pink-haired girls appeared outside Amphoreus.

They were seen holding hands, arms spread wide.

The staggering amounts of moria surrounding Amphoreus began violently contracting, compressing.

These moria residues, left behind by the mokeepers for their sches now served perfectly as the material for 'Cyrene' and Demiurge to sculpt Amphoreus into form.

As for Evernight, she lingered in the background, critiquing their technique.

"Hey, gentle here, don't just cram the moria together so roughly… you over there too, stop randomly adding pink-and-white color sches! Respect the original design."

"Weren't you two all-powerful just a mont ago? How can you ss up such a simple task? Compress that section tighter!"

"Don't stop now, mold the moon too!"

"No weird colors for the moon! No parallel-world styles—use the most basic version as reference!"

Evernight sighed, massaging her temples.

These two were clearly powerful, but how could they be so sloppy at manual work?

One was careless, the other constantly trying to deck out Amphoreus with random additions.

Down below, there were suggestions like building a 'Droma The Park' and other nonsense.

All of which Evernight firmly vetoed.

A world's foundation should honestly respect its prototype.

They could add whatever they wanted later.

No haphazard renovations allowed.

Finally, under Evernight's supervision, the unique moria planet of Amphoreus was successfully shaped.

The luminous bands surrounding Amphoreus were not dispersed.

But intentionally preserved.

The auras of Rembrance and Hope were strongest, followed by Erudition, and then Destruction, suppressed to the point of being nearly imperceptible.

Four Paths' essences intertwined here, serving as Amphoreus's unique spectacle.

With the world of Amphoreus ford, the Scepter's wreckage was also moved out.

What would ultimately happen to those remains was hard to say.

'Cyrene' glanced at her own panel.

Gotta say, having the real one here made farming emotional points easy.

Just this one battle had filled half the progress bar.

A pure carry job.

Leaving Amphoreus to settle in for now, 'Cyrene' decided to go check on how Herta was doing.
