Now reading: Chapter 155 155: Star Rail Impostor! - 155 from I'm Not Just An Impostor! (Honkai: Star Rail), a Action novel by JuniperTL.

The appearance of Fuli served as the initial anchor point.

Then ca the addition of Aeon Archetypes, forming the second anchor point.

After that, they ran into a rather practical problem.

If the Simulated Universe was ant to calculate everything in existence, relying solely on the initial anchor points and Aeon Archetypes to supply data was clearly not enough.

Or rather, not comprehensive enough—it couldn't reach the level of realism Herta was aiming for.

It seed like the data was just insufficient.

For now, they could rely on 'Cyrene' to dredge up data from the moria, but in the long run, this task needed an efficient and accurate solution to replace 'Cyrene's' role.

And this problem wasn't easy to solve.

Because the world of moria was too chaotic—the mories retrieved were rarely coherent or continuous, and what had actually happened was all jumbled together in the moria with countless unrealized possibilities.

In her current state, 'Cyrene' could retrieve many mories and easily separate these different possibilities, but she couldn't stay here forever just to do this for the Simulated Universe.

Injecting chaotic mories directly into the Simulated Universe, for now, would only introduce more bugs.

Still, regarding this matter... for the mont, inspiration was in short supply.

Herta frowned slightly, lost in thought, pulling 'Cyrene' into a discussion about the feasibility of various plans.

Divine Herta and Screwllum exchanged a glance before the forr spoke up:

"Though it's another version of making the demand, even if we solve this problem now, achieving the level of realism she wants in a short ti is impossible."

Given current conditions and what they'd glimpsed from Nous, what this Simulated Universe could achieve from the start was already far better than what she rembered of the original version.

There really was no need to rush this much.

Screwllum nodded in agreent:

"Logic: Indeed. Using the four Instants of Nous as anchors is enough to allow us to recreate many significant events."

Hearing her colleagues' words, Herta stopped mid-discussion. She looked at 'Cyrene', then at Divine Herta.

Suddenly realizing she might just be subconsciously competing with another version of herself.

Thanks to the source code provided by Divine Herta, they could easily recreate the original Simulated Universe as it was.

And having optimized it to this point, Herta's nature drove her to instinctively seek a result that surpassed the original.

Plus, seeing 'Cyrene' keep up with her pace, she'd unconsciously raised her standards.

Though Herta hadn't ant to be impatient, the interplay of these two impulses made her co across as exactly that.

But before Herta could speak, 'Cyrene' shook her head gently and said:

"Since we're building on the original Simulated Universe, we should make it better, shouldn't we? I'll go consult a proper Pure Child of Anāsrava—maybe that'll spark sothing."

"…"

Herta, who had been about to speak, closed her mouth and swallowed her words.

"Then I'll leave it to you. I'll review the system logs in the anti, and optimize the processes."

"Mhm, I'll bring them over right away."

'Cyrene' left the chamber briefly, sending ssages to Evernight and Demiurge.

Screwllum chose to inspect system stability—with computations of this scale, expected and unexpected errors were plentiful.

And the fact that directly importing mories from moria triggered errors—Screwllum instinctively felt this might not be purely a programming issue.

Ruan i, anwhile, continued multitasking, tending to her specins. This part of the work didn't concern her much.

On the other hand, after the interactions over the past few days, Evernight felt that accepting 'Cyrene's' invitation was one of the smarter decisions she'd made.

The more she learned about these networks, the more at ease she felt.

So to integrate herself as quickly as possible, Evernight hadn't been idle these past few days.

For instance, she'd managed to acquire the technology for Light Cones.

But having it was one thing—using it openly was clearly not an option.

After all, it was a proprietary technique of the Garden of Recollection.

Flashing it around carelessly would only invite trouble if discovered.

So she had to dismantle the technology and repackage it under a different shell—at least make it look like sothing other than a Light Cone at first glance.

That way, she wouldn't be in the wrong.

And it was precisely while puzzling over how to repackage it with Demiurge that 'Cyrene' called, summoning both of them to the space station.

Since the eting on the station was attended only by the geniuses, with no other staff around, no one else really knew what was happening inside.

Even Evernight only had a vague idea about creating a moria world or sothing similar—Herta hadn't gone into details back then.

So when Demiurge and Evernight boarded the space station and heard 'Cyrene's' explanation, the two Pure Children of Anāsrava nearly lost their composure.

Demiurge fared slightly better, since she knew less.

But Evernight was struggling to keep a straight face.

She'd thought these geniuses just wanted to create sothing like the Garden of Recollection and study mories.

After all, those sunken mories held plenty worth excavating.

But these people...

To dig up mories, they were trying to manually craft a miniature universe directly from moria??

And one they could freely manipulate, at that.

If you actually pull this off and the Garden finds out, will any of us ever have peace again?

Evernight suddenly felt this big ship might not be as secure as she'd imagined.

The bigger the ship, the deeper it sails into dangerous waters... hard to say whether the risk factor or the safety index would win out.

"Hey, snap out of it. Let's discuss whether there's any way around this."

'Cyrene' waved a hand in front of Evernight's face, interrupting her thoughts.

Coming back to herself, Evernight shook her head helplessly:

"Hard to say... Even the Garden of Recollection mostly relies on mokeepers going on field assignnts to collect mories. No one's researched the kind of effect you're looking for."

After all, mokeepers themselves love collecting mories, so they never thought to develop tools to replace them in that task.

'Cyrene' shook her head, speaking earnestly:

"That's not the main issue. It's about feasibility. You have more experience—what do you think about feasibility?"

"Well... Could I take a look at your test content first?"

Evernight didn't dare claim she had ideas, only that she could try.

"Perfect, then both of you can join the test."

'Cyrene' didn't let Demiurge off either, who had been rely observing, pulling both of them into the Simulated Universe linking devices.

The simulation content still centered on the event of Amphoreus.

'Cyrene' set the Simulated Universe in motion—the input of anchors and variables allowed it to self-evolve within a logical loop, using those anchors as benchmarks.

For now, it was still in a phase of wild growth, with frequent errors.

But since the mories of the Fourth Instant were the most complete, that part could essentially run independently.

So Demiurge would probably find it familiar.

And when the two erged from the test, Evernight's gaze toward 'Cyrene' turned sowhat subtle.

"I have a personal idea—let's see if it works."
