Now reading: Chapter 192: Lucifer And The Seraphms from I'm The Devil, a Action novel by Adams2004.

Lucifer, his white wings unfurled, soared through the skies with a sinister purpose. He journeyed towards his old siblings—the remaining Seraphims who had descended to the mortal realm to carry out the Father’s will. He knew that their presence on Earth presented a unique opportunity for him to sow discord directly within their ranks.

As Lucifer approached the site where the Seraphims had gathered, he masked his malevolent aura, presenting a facade of the once-brilliant angel he had been. The Seraphims, unaware of his imdiate presence, were diligently carrying out their divine tasks.

Uriel, still touching the tongues of the builders to create diverse languages; Michael, severing the ntal link that connected their minds together.

With a flourish of his pristine wings, Lucifer landed softly behind them, his voice a blend of honeyed tones and underlying nace. "Ah, my dear siblings, working hard as always. It seems that Father will never let you rest."

The Seraphims turned in unison, their expressions a mix of surprise and wariness. Michael stepped forward, his eyes narrowing as he regarded Lucifer. "Lucifer, what brings you here? This is a place of divine intervention, not one for your sches."

Lucifer raised his hands in a gesture of mock innocence. "Sches? Michael, you wound . I rely ca to see my beloved siblings in action. It’s been so long since we’ve shared each other’s company."

Gabriel, his eyes sharp and discerning, spoke next. "We know your presence here is not without purpose, Lucifer. State your intentions."

Lucifer’s grin widened, but his eyes remained cold. "Very well, Gabriel. I co with a proposition. You see, our Father’s will is being executed with such diligence, but perhaps there is room for... alternative perspectives."

Raphael, ever the healer, looked at Lucifer with a mixture of pity and sadness. "Guidance through chaos is not the way of the divine, Lucifer. We do not seek to manipulate; we seek to enlighten."

Lucifer’s expression darkened slightly, but he quickly regained his composure. "Ah, Raphael, always the compassionate one. But consider this: even the most well-intentioned plans can benefit from a bit of... creative input. Wouldn’t you agree?"

Uriel, the light of wisdom, stepped forward, her gaze piercing through Lucifer’s facade. "Your words are laced with deceit, Lucifer. You seek to use this gathering to further your ends, not to offer genuine assistance. We will not be swayed by your manipulations."

Lucifer’s grin turned into a sneer. "So self-righteous, Uriel. Bariel would be so disappointed in you if he were to see you like this"

Uriel’s eyes narrowed, a flash of anger crossing her usually serene face. "Leave Bariel out of this, Lucifer. You have no right to invoke his na."

Lucifer’s sneer deepened, his dark eyes glinting with malice. "Oh, but why not? He was our brother once, just as you and I were. And now look at us—on opposite sides of a war that never should have been."

Uriel took a deep breath, centering herself. "This war is of your making, Lucifer. You chose rebellion. You chose to turn your back on the Light."

Lucifer laughed a cold and hollow sound that echoed through the celestial halls. "The Light? Is that what you think this is about? No, sister, this is about freedom. About casting off the chains of servitude."

Uriel shook her head, sadness mingling with her anger. "Freedom? You call this chaos freedom? You’ve brought nothing but suffering and despair to the realms."

"And yet," Lucifer countered, stepping closer, "there are those who follow willingly. They see the truth in my words, the truth that you and your kind are too blind to acknowledge. Even Bariel, once a beacon of the Light, now stands beside as one of the Lords of Hell."

Uriel felt a pang of sorrow at the ntion of Bariel, her heart aching for the brother she had once known. "Bariel’s fall is a tragedy, not a triumph. He has been consud by your lies and false promises."

Lucifer’s expression softened, just for a mont, as if he were genuinely hurt by Uriel’s words. But the mont passed quickly, and his sneer returned. "Destruction? Perhaps. But it is a destruction that will pave the way for a new beginning. A beginning where beings like us can truly be free."

Uriel felt a pang of sorrow for her fallen brothers, but she knew that there was no turning back now. "If you truly believe that, then there is nothing more to say. I will stop you, Lucifer. For the sake of all that is good and just."

Lucifer’s eyes blazed with a dark fire. "Then co, Uriel. Let us see whose resolve is stronger."

Michael’s voice rang out with authority, cutting through the tension. "Enough, Lucifer. Your presence here is a disruption. Leave now, or we will be forced to act."

In response to Michael’s command, Lucifer’s expression twisted into a sneer of defiance. "You think you can intimidate , Michael? I am beyond your reach now, beyond the constraints of your precious hierarchy."

Michael’s usually serene countenance twisted with a mix of anger and disappointnt as he struggled to contain the emotions boiling inside him. His voice resonated with a deep sense of betrayal as he addressed Lucifer, his once beloved brother turned fallen angel.

"I regret the day I heeded Father’s call to save your sorry soul from the depths of the Sea of Chaos, Lucifer. You should have been locked up there with her, that’s the only punishnt befitting of soone like you.

We aided you in your ti of need, the point where all hope seems lost, but what do we get, your ever persistent urge to corrupt what Father built, corrupt us and make us rebel against the one who gave us life, how stupid do you think we are to fall for your tricks?"

Lucifer t Michael’s gaze with a cold indifference, his expression unreadable as he absorbed the weight of Michael’s words. The tension in the air crackled with unresolved conflict, the rift between the archangels widening with each passing mont.
