Bariel's curiosity lingered as he studied his brother, his arms still crossed over his chest. Despite his earlier amusent, there was an undercurrent of tension in his posture now—a slight tightening of his jaw, the faint crease between his brows. He knew Lucifer too well to believe he'd co to the Aesir realm for a casual visit.

"Alright, Lucifer," Bariel said finally, his voice low but probing. "Out with it. You're not one to wander realms without reason. What are you doing here?"

Lucifer raised an eyebrow, a flicker of amusent dancing across his dark eyes. His long fingers brushed an invisible speck of dust from his coat sleeve, his movents asured and unhurried. "Ah, Bariel," he murmured, his voice smooth as silk. "Ever the vigilant brother. Must we ruin this lovely reunion with such heavy inquiries?"

Bariel's lips twitched, his expression caught sowhere between a scowl and a smirk. "Yes," he said firmly, stepping closer. "Because you don't just 'drop by.' Especially not here."

Lucifer sighed softly, as if indulging a persistent child. He tilted his head slightly, his smirk sharpening as his gaze drifted to the horizon. "If you must know," he began, his tone carrying an air of theatrical exasperation, "I'm here to have a little chat with an old friend."

Bariel's eyes narrowed further, his head tilting as understanding dawned. His body stiffened, the tension rolling off him in waves as his voice dropped to a rumble. "The Trickster," he said, more a statent than a question.

Lucifer turned to face him fully, his smirk deepening into sothing colder, sharper—a blade sheathed in charm. "Precisely," he said, his voice soft but carrying an unmistakable edge.

Bariel exhaled sharply, his large hand running through his fiery red hair. The jovial warrior who had just monts ago been roaring with laughter in Thor's hall was gone, replaced by a more serious, calculating figure. He straightened, squaring his broad shoulders as he glanced back toward the glowing hall in the distance.

"Thor," he said abruptly, his voice loud and commanding.

Within monts, the heavy oak doors of the hall creaked open, and Thor himself erged, his imposing fra silhouetted against the golden light spilling from within. The Thunderer's eyes sparkled with curiosity, though his brow furrowed slightly as he approached.

"What's the urgency, Bariel?" Thor asked, his voice resonant and steady. His gaze flicked between Bariel and Lucifer, lingering on the Morningstar with a hint of suspicion.

Bariel wasted no ti, gesturing toward his brother. "Lucifer's here for Loki," he said bluntly. "And I don't think he's going to wait around for pleasantries."

Thor's blue eyes darkened, his expression hardening as he shifted his stance, planting his feet firmly. He crossed his arms over his chest, his grip tightening around Mjölnir's handle. "Loki is under strict confinent," Thor said, his voice steady but laced with warning. "Odin has made it clear—he's not to be disturbed."

Lucifer chuckled softly, the sound rich with amusent but carrying a dangerous undertone. "Strict confinent, you say?" he mused, his eyes glinting with mockery. "How very Aesir of you. Tell , Thor, has it ever occurred to you that locking up chaos only makes it more… creative?"

Thor's jaw tightened, the tension in his broad shoulders visible even beneath his ornate armor. "I don't trust your intentions, Morningstar," he said, his tone sharp. "Why do you want to see him?"

Lucifer took a step forward, his movents unhurried but deliberate. His dark eyes locked onto Thor's, their depths unreadable yet magnetic. "Let's just say I have unfinished business with your Trickster," he said softly, his voice carrying an undeniable authority. "And you're not going to stop ."

Thor's grip on Mjölnir tightened, the faint hum of its power audible in the charged air. "Do not mistake my hospitality for weakness," he warned, his voice low. "If you threaten the peace of this realm—"

"Thor," Bariel interjected, stepping between them. His large hand rested lightly on Thor's shoulder, a grounding presence amid the rising tension. "Let him pass."

Thor's eyes widened slightly, surprise flashing across his face. "You're siding with him?" he asked, incredulous.

Bariel's expression softened, though his voice remained firm. "I'm not siding with anyone," he said. "But if Lucifer has business with Loki, he'll find him whether we allow it or not. Better to do this on our terms."

Thor hesitated, his jaw working as he wrestled with the decision. Finally, he exhaled sharply, his shoulders relaxing just enough to signal his reluctant agreent. "Very well," he said, his voice gruff. "But I'm coming with you."

Lucifer's smirk returned, this ti carrying a hint of triumph. "How generous of you, Thunderer," he said lightly. "Shall we, then?"

With that, the unlikely trio turned toward the far edge of the realm, where Loki's confinent awaited. Nezha followed silently, his golden eyes flickering with curiosity and caution as he trailed behind. Lucifer's steps were as graceful as ever, his coat billowing slightly in the ethereal light, while Bariel walked with the steady purpose of a warrior preparing for an inevitable clash. Thor, ever the protector, kept his gaze fixed ahead, his hand never straying far from Mjölnir.

The air around them seed to grow heavier with each step, the faint hum of the realm's energy shifting as they neared their destination. And though none of them spoke, the tension crackling between them was a language all its own—a promise of the chaos yet to co.

As the group approached Loki's confinent, the shimring golden expanse of Asgard's grandeur gave way to a more somber and ominous atmosphere. The air grew colder, charged with an unnatural stillness, and the faint hum of the realm's energy deepened into a foreboding vibration. A massive obsidian structure lood ahead, its sharp edges and dark surface a stark contrast to the brightness of the Bifröst and Thor's hall. This was Loki's prison, a place devoid of warmth or comfort, where mischief incarnate was held in check.

Thor stopped a few paces from the entrance, his broad shoulders tense, Mjölnir resting firmly in his grip. He glanced at Bariel, his gaze heavy with unspoken concern, then at Lucifer, who stood with the sa calm, unbothered expression he'd worn since arriving.

"This is as far as you go without permission," Thor said, his deep voice resolute. "I'll announce you to Odin first."

Lucifer's smirk barely faltered, though a faint flicker of irritation passed across his dark eyes. "Still the dutiful guardian, I see," he remarked smoothly. "But tell , Thor, do you think Loki will care for such formalities?"

Thor's jaw clenched, the muscles working visibly as he glared at the Morningstar. "You're here because we allowed it. Don't push your luck."

Bariel sighed, stepping forward to place a hand on Thor's shoulder once more. "Let him in, Thunderer," he said softly, though his voice carried a note of finality. "This isn't a fight we need to have. Not yet."

Thor hesitated, his sharp blue eyes darting between Bariel and Lucifer before he finally exhaled sharply. With a reluctant nod, he stepped aside, motioning toward the darkened entrance. "Fine. But I'm not leaving," he said, his voice firm.

Lucifer inclined his head slightly, the gesture almost mocking. "How generous of you," he said, brushing past Thor with the effortless grace of a predator stalking familiar territory.

As they entered the obsidian structure, the light of Asgard dimd, replaced by a faint, flickering green glow that seed to emanate from the walls themselves. The space was vast yet suffocating, its silence broken only by the soft echo of their footsteps. The air was thick with an ancient magic, and the weight of it pressed down on all but Lucifer, who strode forward as if the oppressive atmosphere was a re breeze.

At the center of the chamber, bound to an ornate stone seat by gleaming golden chains, sat Loki. The Trickster God was both striking and unsettling, his sharp features frad by long, raven-black hair that shimred like liquid shadow. His erald-green eyes, vibrant and piercing, snapped up at the sound of approaching footsteps, narrowing as they locked onto Lucifer.

"Well, well," Loki drawled, his voice smooth yet dripping with venomous charm. "Look what the cat dragged in. Or should I say, the snake?"

Lucifer's smirk widened, his dark eyes glinting with a mixture of amusent and challenge. "Loki," he said, his voice low and almost fond. "Still as sharp-tongued as ever, I see. Confinent suits you."

Loki's erald eyes glittered with mischief as he leaned back against the stone seat, the golden chains around his wrists glinting faintly in the dim, flickering green light. His lips curled into a sly grin, one that promised nothing good.

"The fad Lucifer Morningstar," Loki said, his voice dripping with mockery. "Here in my prison. How spectacular." He tilted his head slightly, the movent languid and theatrical. "To what do I owe this illustrious honor? Have you co to admire my accommodations, or did you simply get bored lording over your infernal realm?"

Lucifer's smirk deepened, his dark eyes narrowing ever so slightly as he stepped closer, his long coat sweeping behind him. "Always the dramatist, Loki," he murmured, his voice smooth and rich, like velvet laced with steel. "But I suppose I should expect no less from the God of Mischief."

Loki chuckled softly, the sound sharp and edged with amusent. "Oh, flattery will get you everywhere," he quipped, his chains rattling faintly as he shifted his posture, sitting up a little straighter. "But I must admit, your timing is curious. Thor's lot usually prefers to keep under lock and key without visitors." His grin widened, teeth flashing white. "Did you bribe the Thunderer? Or did you simply charm your way in?"

Lucifer didn't answer imdiately. Instead, he allowed the silence to stretch, his dark eyes fixed on Loki with a piercing intensity that seed to strip away the Trickster's bravado, layer by layer. Finally, he spoke, his voice low and asured. "I'm here because you intrigue , Loki. And because you and I… we're not so different."
