Now reading: Chapter 64 - 63: The Passion of the God from I'm Trapped in the Block, a Sci-fi novel by Kuang Xi.

The frenzied Transparent Race People were still pleading.

The Goddess watched them calmly.

"The ga is over. I’m leaving."

"The ’chicks’ will not be coming to this world again."

Seeing that they all understood everything, the Goddess didn’t plan to linger and began to float upward.

But the Transparent Race People, still clinging to a sliver of hope, rushed forward and clung to her serpentine tail.

However, after the Goddess’s tail shifted, the Transparent Race People clutching it slid off.

She said nothing more, slowly floating up into the sky without a single glance back at the Transparent Race People below.

Mo Ling stared blankly at the ascending Goddess.

’Did she really just co to tell the Transparent Race People the ga was over?’

He found himself increasingly unable to comprehend the Origin Cell.

The Bubble Goddess entered the cell mbrane again and began to transform, returning to the shape of a sphere.

Mo Ling followed the Goddess higher and higher, the Block also drawing closer and closer to the Origin Cell, until it was right beside the cell.

The Origin Cell seed to notice the Block, but it couldn’t seem to discern what kind of life form the Block was. After a few attempts to change into the Block’s shape, it gave up.

It resud drifting aimlessly through the sky until it stopped, hovering above the Sheep-headed Man.

The bubble shifted again.

This ti, just like before, it struggled to transform. It lingered in the shape of a Broken Tree Sheep for a long ti, but realizing it wasn’t right, it continued to change.

The Sheep-headed Man seed very interested in the Origin Cell. After erging from the Divine Hall, it had climbed onto a building of the Transparent Race People, holding up a fra to asure the Origin Cell in the sky.

But it could never get a match.

It was the sa when the Goddess had appeared earlier; the Sheep-headed Man probably felt that her serpentine tail was unsuitable for the pose of the Vitruvian Man.

Finally, the Origin Cell’s transformation stopped. It had taken the form of an ordinary human and slowly walked out.

The Bubble Man descended before the Sheep-headed Man but did not speak.

Seeing the Origin Cell co down on its own, the Sheep-headed Man picked up its fra again and began to take asurents.

After comparing, it found a match. The Sheep-headed Man seed very pleased and imdiately bound the Origin Cell with chains.

The Origin Cell didn’t resist, remaining motionless and vacant.

A chainsaw extended from the Sheep-headed Man’s arm, and it cut open the Bubble Man’s hands and feet.

The aqueous mbranes of its hands and feet simply parted along the chainsaw’s path, like a cell dividing, and it sustained no damage at all.

The Sheep-headed Man was very skilled. Taking advantage of the Origin Cell’s daze, it quickly tied it to the fra.

This ti, the Sheep-headed Man seed extrely satisfied with its artistic creation, because the Origin Cell’s physique was simply too perfect.

The Bubble Man’s body was the most standard of human physiques.

Its proportions and length were precise, and its musculature was perfectly defined. The Sheep-headed Man planted the fra on the rooftop and circled it several tis, admiring its work.

Unlike previous victims, the Origin Cell didn’t wail and struggle wildly. Instead, it quietly cooperated with the Sheep-headed Man’s actions, offering no resistance at all.

’What a good temper.’

Since it didn’t resist, it wouldn’t ss up the pose. The Sheep-headed Man seed very satisfied with this human model’s cooperation, bleating with excitent.

At this mont, the Transparent Race People below saw this scene and were stunned speechless.

’Their god... was actually tied to a fra?’

But it wasn’t long before their fear began to curdle into sothing else.

A few of the bolder Transparent Race People, seeing that the Origin Cell was trapped, picked up stones from the ground and began throwing them at it on the rooftop fra.

They were venting their unbridled ignorance and resentnt.

"That’s not a god at all! It’s a devil sent to destroy our faith!"

A completely different sentint erged from within the Transparent Race.

It was the voice of doubt.

As the jeering grew, more and more of the Transparent Race People grew bold and started throwing stones at the Origin Cell on the fra.

"Execute it! That’s a false god!"

"Its goal is to deceive us and make our faith collapse! It must have been sent by the Flesh Race!"

These words resonated with the Transparent Race People. They would rather believe this was an impostor god than believe the truth about the ga.

Faced with the truth, they chose to remain ignorant.

The Origin Cell allowed these ignorant Transparent Race People to attack it, remaining silent as it calmly watched the Sheep-headed Man.

The Transparent Race People attacked and cursed, as if they had finally found an outlet for their frustrations.

One of the Transparent Race People even shot a long arrow at the Origin Cell on the fra.

The stone-tipped arrow pierced its wrist and ankle. Transparent cellular fluid flowed from the arrow-hole, dripping onto the rooftop.

The Transparent Race People self-righteously began their own trial and punishnt of the Origin Cell.

And so the Origin Cell was bound at the center of the judgnt, silently enduring a dual trial of both the secular and the sacred.

Its gaze was deep and serene, as if it saw through the vanity of the mortal world.

Then, it seed to have finally decided sothing.

It spoke in a human tongue.

It spoke to the Sheep-headed Man before it. "Would you like to play a ga with ? If you win, I will grant you one wish."

It took the Sheep-headed Man a long ti to understand the Origin Cell’s words.

"Baa," it replied with an inscrutable bleat.

But the Origin Cell seed to understand the Sheep-headed Man’s sheep-language, continuing, "You don’t know what a ga is? Let explain it to you."

Then the Origin Cell began to leisurely explain the definition of a ga to the Sheep-headed Man, showing great patience.

"Do you understand?" After finishing its explanation, the Origin Cell even asked with concern.

"Baa."

The Origin Cell continued, "So you understand. Then let tell you about our ga. It’s called rock-paper-scissors. Do you know how to play?"

"Baa." The Sheep-headed Man raised its hands.

On them were nothing but sheep’s hooves.

"..."

Below, the crowd of Transparent Race People was still venting its fury, cursing and hurling stones. At so point, it had turned into a spontaneous trial.

A trial for the one they considered a Blaspher.

anwhile, the two bizarre creatures on the rooftop continued their nonsensical conversation.

The conflicting scene made Mo Ling’s mind freeze. He could hardly believe that these two events were happening at the sa ti.

"So, rock-paper-scissors is okay?"

"Baa."

A stone flew past, striking the Sheep-headed Man’s chainsaw-horn.

"Then it’s settled. You play rock-paper-scissors with . If you win, I’ll grant your wish."

"Baa."

One of the Transparent Race People clambered up, holding a stone spear and roaring, "Impostor god, go and die!"

...

The Origin Cell and the Sheep-headed Man were still chatting leisurely.

"I haven’t asked what your wish is. What do you wish for?"

"Baa, baa."

"Alright, then it’s a deal."

"Baa."

The Transparent Race Person who had climbed onto the roof stepped on the cellular fluid that had leaked from the Origin Cell earlier, slipped, and fell.

"I’ve been attacked by the Blaspher!"
