Honestly, she hadn't intended to delve that deeply into the mories at first. Her plan was just to skim the recent ones—the period right before they t—to get a handle on the Feather's current abnormalities and the state of this world.

But once she started, she just couldn't stop. The sheer volu of information was overwhelming, leaving her unable to react properly, so she kept watching.

In the end, she went through every single one of the girl's mories.

"That's fantastic!" Amber exclaid, overjoyed.

Having Fu Hua's help felt like stumbling upon one of those legendary "pocket grandpas" you only hear about in stories.

"..." Hearing Amber's inner thoughts, Fu Hua opened her mouth, then closed it, suppressing the urge to comnt.

Instead, she brought up another matter. "Even if our existence in your world is just a ga, for you now, all of this is real."

"I've already laid down my duties and have no more attachnts. Fortunately, I still have so skills left. Though we aren't master and disciple, and I don't plan on taking another, I can still guide you along the path of the Taixu Sword Qi."

Amber nodded, a spark of anticipation lighting within her.

Fu Hua, aware that the girl had little interaction with others—having spent long years confined to a hospital bed—naturally understood that she'd grown accustod to relying on others.

First her parents, then her doctors, and now the Main Control consciousness, the Navigation system.

That she had stumbled into this world and been saved by Amber… it felt like fate's own guiding hand.

Fortunately, with her own modest abilities, she could at least serve as a support for the girl now.

"Once you leave here, fully release the Feather's permissions. Every night from now on, I will use the Feather to instruct you in the practice of Taixu Sword Qi, so you don't beco overly dependent on the Navigation."

Before the girl could ntion how 'she'd also relied on Navigation to get familiar with using Qi,' Fu Hua continued, "Its help is limited. rely imitating my path by instinct is a narrow approach—the most crucial thing is to find your own way."

Amber knew she made a good point. Besides, she understood Fu Hua had her best interests at heart, so she nodded again.

"Oh, one more thing," Fu Hua recalled the girl's behavior in the real world. "You don't need to worry about my opinions. Just interact with others as you normally would."

"No way!" On this point, however, Amber didn't nod. Instead, she said seriously, "That would ruin the shining image of my 2D waifu in everyone else's eyes!"

"It's just the sa face."

"Still not allowed! No one gets to tarnish the image of my 2D waifu! Not even !"

"...Fine."

Seeing how stubborn Amber was, Fu Hua dropped it, though she couldn't help adding, "But I am not a 2D character, nor am I your waifu."

"Mhm."

Amber nodded, but inwardly she dismissed it. Even if Fu Hua was real now, that didn't stop her from being her 2D waifu.

Not wanting to dwell on the topic, Fu Hua smoothly shifted the conversation to the cultivation thods of Taixu Sword Qi.

It was nearly evening, and when it ca to training, sooner was always better than later. Amber, quite eager to learn Taixu Sword Qi, listened attentively at first. But barely an hour in, she already felt a headache coming on.

Why did Taixu Sword Qi have to involve morizing texts and horse stance training too?

"The foundation is the most critical part of any martial art. Besides, Taixu Sword Qi itself evolved from Divine Hymns. You should know this well enough."

With those words, Fu Hua faded from view. Partly to see how self-disciplined Amber would be, and partly because she feared her presence might both distract the girl and make her rely too heavily on external guidance.

Besides, she herself felt a little lost about their current situation.

Fu Hua's sudden disappearance made Amber a bit nervous. She worried she might have upset her, so slacking off was out of the question.

Not that she'd planned to cut corners in her training anyway—she knew Fu Hua was right. It was just… having soone she could trust, soone right there in front of her, made it hard not to let her guard down a little.

Fortunately, this awkward period didn't last long. Soon, Amber heard a knock at the door, followed by Fujimaru Ritsuka's voice: "Celestial, dinner's ready. So of the others have dropped by too. Would you like to co down and eat with us?"

Other companions?

Dinner wouldn't interfere much with her training, and it was a chance to step away and ease the awkwardness. So Amber left the Feather's space and granted Fu Hua access to its permissions.

Seeing Amber erge from her room, Ritsuka's body tensed instinctively before relaxing again.

'Was it just , or did the Celestial seem in a worse mood? She seed fine when she went upstairs earlier.'

Though puzzled, he wasn't one to pry into others' affairs, so he didn't dwell on it and simply led Amber downstairs.

Just as Ritsuka had said, the previously quiet house now felt lively with three additional people. It wasn't just the increase in numbers—all three had just returned triumphant, and this al also served as a celebration for their victory.

"Whoa! So this is the legendary Phoenix Celestial who subdued the goddess in one move?!" A girl, whose attire seed even more eye-catching than Ishtar's—in a way that made Amber inwardly cringe—bead with excitent upon seeing her.

"To gain such a powerful ally at a ti like this… nothing could be more reassuring," the burly man wearing a headband beside her nodded in acknowledgnt.

Next to them, a man with bronze skin and vibrant red hair smiled slightly and gave a nod. "Pleased to et you, mighty warrior from afar."

"Let make the introductions," Ritsuka cut in. He'd already briefed the three on the situation, but Amber hadn't been filled in yet. Now that everyone was together, it was the perfect ti.

First, the girl whose outfit Amber found rather revealing: her na was Ushiwakamaru. Though that was her current na—a childhood na, really.

Her true identity was Minamoto no Yoshitsune, a military commander known throughout Japan.

The man with the headband was Musashibō Benkei.

Amber vaguely recognized Yoshitsune, but Musashibō Benkei drew a complete blank.

Still, she nodded calmly, her expression perfectly maintaining that detached, ethereal aura everyone expected. No one noticed anything amiss.

But the last Servant was in a whole other league. Even Amber, who wasn't exactly well-read, had heard of him: Leonidas I, the fad King of Sparta. The legendary Battle of Thermopylae, where three hundred n held off an army of one hundred thousand, was his most famous exploit.

In that mont, she finally felt the unique appeal of Fate.

eting these legendary figures felt just like eting Fu Hua had. The sheer romance of summoning a historical hero you admired—the very thought was thrilling.
