Hong Ye’s face turned red in an instant.
This scoundrel was becoming more and more shaless. They had grown up together in the sa compound—she had always treated him like a close brother, yet he actually wanted to sleep with her. What a beast.
And the most ridiculous part was… this wasn’t the first ti he had brought it up. He had made these remarks since they were kids, though never seriously. Still, it was outrageous. He was worse than a beast!

Hong Ye folded her arms across her chest, turned her head away, and looked sowhat smug.
Shen Wuxiao grinned without a care. “Go ahead and tell her. At most, she and I will have… a little argunt at night.”
Hong Ye gave a cold snort. “Then… maybe I shouldn’t. I wouldn’t want to ruin your relationship.”
Shen Wuxiao kept his eyes on the road, smiling even more. “It’ll actually strengthen our relationship. Go ahead and report . I don’t mind.”
Hong Ye raised her hand and smacked his arm lightly. “Fine then, I’ll expose you! I’ll reveal all your black history too.”
She only acted this way around Shen Wuxiao. If it were anyone else, she wouldn’t even have the patience to speak more than a few words.

She had been curious all along about what kind of woman had caught Shen Wuxiao’s eye. Now, even from a distance, she couldn’t help but be stunned. As a top beauty herself, she rarely admitted others were beautiful, but Jiang Huaiyue’s cold and heroic presence was captivating.
Jiang Huaiyue noticed that Shen Wuxiao had returned and imdiately stopped practicing to greet them.

After a brief introduction from Shen Wuxiao, Jiang Huaiyue extended her soft, fair hand and greeted her with a warm smile, “Hello. I’ll call you Ye Zi. I had a comrade once nad Hong Ye too, though that was just her codena.”
Hong Ye eagerly shook her hand. “Hi, Sister Yue. Wow, your hands are so soft!”
Jiang Huaiyue was a little surprised. The way Hong Ye spoke sounded quite similar to Shen Wuxiao’s, casual and familiar.
But it wasn’t a bad thing.
Since Shen Wuxiao brought her back here, she was most likely soone special to him.
“It’s windy outside. Let’s head in,” Jiang Huaiyue said, holding Hong Ye’s hand and walking straight inside.
Shen Wuxiao was left standing there, a little speechless.
He shook his head with a smile and followed behind them.
Inside the villa, the two won sat on the sofa and quickly began chatting.
“Sister Yue, you’re so beautiful! No wonder that guy is so obsessed with you. If I were a man, I’d fall for you too!” Hong Ye laughed.
She was open and lively when around people she was comfortable with—completely different from how she acted at work.
“You’re also very beautiful,” Jiang Huaiyue replied shyly. She wasn’t great at giving complints, but she ant what she said.
Hong Ye truly was stunning. But Shen Wuxiao… was a total scoundrel.
There’s sothing unique about female friendship—it sotis forms faster than expected.
Shen Wuxiao watched them chat so naturally, and he thought it was a good sign. If he ever wanted to pursue Hong Ye, at least he wouldn’t have to worry about the two of them clashing.
“Well, I’m going to take a shower,” he announced.
Jiang Huaiyue looked over. “Want to help?”
“No need!”

She turned back and continued chatting and laughing with Hong Ye.
Shen Wuxiao felt like he had suddenly beco the third wheel. Rubbing his neck, he walked toward the bedroom.
The two won chatted for quite a while.
Jiang Huaiyue learned that Hong Ye and Shen Wuxiao had grown up together as childhood friends. This guy really did pick from his own backyard!
Hong Ye also shared so stories from their childhood, most of which involved Shen Wuxiao.
The more they talked, the more excited they got.
“Sister Yue, you don’t know how stingy Wuxiao is with ,” Hong Ye pouted.
“Ah?” Jiang Huaiyue was startled by the sudden complaint. This sister was really bold and direct.
Covering her mouth in surprise, she asked, “He… treated you like that too?”
“Exactly!” Hong Ye huffed. “He’s just as stingy with you, isn’t he? How do you even stand him? He’ll never change!”

Well, since she brought it up, and we’re both won… there’s nothing to hide.
She nodded slightly. “Not always. When the mood is right—”
Then she paused, suddenly realizing sothing was off.
“Wait, you ant he’s stingy with money, right?”
“Of course! What else?” Hong Ye blinked in confusion.
Jiang Huaiyue turned bright red and raised a hand to her forehead.
She had totally misunderstood!
She had just been complaining, and her mind had gone completely off track.
It had to be Shen Wuxiao’s fault—he corrupted her thinking!
She forced a smile. “Ah… no, it’s fine. He’s actually pretty generous with .”
As she spoke, she suddenly stood up. “I-I’ll go get so fruit…”
How embarrassing! What was I even thinking?
“Ah? Oh, okay,” Hong Ye replied, a little confused.
Jiang Huaiyue hurried toward the kitchen. In her flustered rush, she even knocked over the trash can but didn’t stop to clean it up.

Just as she was thinking that, Shen Wuxiao ca out of the bathroom, hair still damp from the shower.
He saw Hong Ye alone on the sofa and asked, “Where’s Yue’er rushing off to?”
“She went to get so fruit,” Hong Ye answered.
Shen Wuxiao glanced toward the kitchen. “That anxious? Just to get fruit?”
“She was getting fruit, but I don’t know why she suddenly rushed off like that,” Hong Ye replied with a shrug. “We were just chatting, and she ran away mid-conversation.”
“That so?” Shen Wuxiao smiled, sat on the sofa, and took a sip of tea.
“What were you two talking about that scared her off?”
Without hesitation, Hong Ye said, “We were talking about how stingy you are.”
Pfft—cough cough! Shen Wuxiao choked on his tea and stared at her.
“I just stepped out for a shower, and the two of you already bonded enough to talk behind my back?”
“Huh?” Hong Ye was confused again. “Is it such a big deal that you’re stingy?”
She looked at him suspiciously. “You’re surprised, so it must be true. You’re stingy with her too! I honestly admire you. You’re still part of the Shen family!”
Young Master Shen looked helpless. “What does that have to do with the Shen family? That’s just how we are as a couple. Why are you asking so many questions?”
He smirked, “Unless you want to treat you the sa?”
Hong Ye rolled her eyes. “It didn’t seem like you were that generous to before.”

Shen Wuxiao raised an eyebrow. “Don’t accuse . When did I—”
He paused, then suddenly realized. “Wait… you ant I’m stingy, right?”
“Isn’t it obvious?” Hong Ye scoffed.
Now Shen Wuxiao understood why Jiang Huaiyue had suddenly bolted.
Apparently, her brain short-circuited just like his had.
