Night had fallen.

Shen Wuxiao left the villa and headed to a high-end teahouse owned by him—one of the places where his n often gathered. It was managed by Uncle Wu and Aunt Wu. On the surface, it looked like a traditional teahouse, but behind the scenes, it was an entirely different world.

This ti, Shen Wuxiao ca alone.

As soon as he stepped inside, soone appeared and quietly led him through the back. That evening, Uncle Wu had inford him that Suzaku had regained consciousness. Naturally, Shen Wuxiao was interested in seeing her.

After passing through three doors, Shen Wuxiao arrived at a dimly lit steel-structured room. It was spacious and silent. Inside, Uncle Wu, Scorpion, Old Cat, and several other n stood waiting.

When they saw Shen Wuxiao, they all stood and greeted him, “Young Master—”

Shen Wuxiao gave a slight nod. “Where is she?”

“This way.”

Uncle Wu led him to a tal door and opened it. Inside, Suzaku lay on a steel bed, her hands and feet bound with chains.

She was awake.

Her external wounds looked minor—deep, but not fatal. The internal damage, however, was serious. Her expression was hard to read, but the mont she saw Shen Wuxiao, she began to struggle violently.

The chains rattled with each movent. Her beautiful face twisted with hatred.

“Tsk tsk… so excited to see ?” Shen Wuxiao said with a faint, amused smile.

“Shen Wuxiao, I’ll kill you! I’ll kill you!” Suzaku shouted, eyes burning with fury.

She struggled desperately, but the restraints held her tightly. She couldn’t even sit up.

“Alright, enough of that. I know you want to kill . So what?” Shen Wuxiao replied casually. “I’m soone who cherishes won. I just ca to check on you. Show you so concern.”

“Bah!” Suzaku spat, her voice venomous. “You inhuman monster! You’ll die a horrible death!”

Shen Wuxiao nodded calmly. “Say whatever you want. I told you—I’m just here to visit.”

“You’re injured. I had soone prepare dicine for you. I’ll help you take it.”

He showed no sign of being disturbed by her rage. Soon, soone brought in a large bowl of steaming herbal soup.

Shen Wuxiao took it, along with a towel draped over his arm. “Co on now, ti for dicine. Let’s get you on the road to recovery.”

He gently scooped up a spoonful, blew on it to cool it, then brought it to her lips.

Suzaku frowned but didn’t resist. She opened her mouth and swallowed it.

But just as Shen Wuxiao moved to scoop another spoonful, she suddenly spat it out—aiming for his face.

Shen Wuxiao calmly raised the towel and blocked it.

The hot liquid soaked the towel.

“Shen Wuxiao, if you have any guts, kill ! Do it!” Suzaku roared.

“No rush.” Shen Wuxiao remained calm and brought another spoonful to her.

This ti, Suzaku thrashed her head violently, trying to avoid the spoon.

Shen Wuxiao sighed. “So disobedient. Sick people should behave better.”

Then, without warning, he pressed the wet towel over her face and dumped the entire bowl of dicine over her head.

“You don’t want to feed you? Then drink it yourself.”

The soaked towel smothered her nose and mouth, and the hot liquid poured across her face. She couldn’t breathe, and each gasp forced dicine into her lungs.

After a mont that felt like suffocation, Shen Wuxiao finally removed the towel. Suzaku gasped frantically for air.

Still, she didn’t yield.

“If you have the guts, give a clean death!” she spat.

Shen Wuxiao leaned back in his chair, staring at her.

“Death is easy. Living without the option of death—that’s the real torture.”

“It’d be a pity to waste soone as beautiful as you. I’m a frugal man. I don’t like waste.”

“I was even thinking… maybe I’ll let the brothers take turns.”

Suzaku’s face turned ashen, her body trembling with cold sweat. She loved Ye Qingfeng deeply. To be defiled like that would be worse than death.

“Shen Wuxiao, you beast! You’re not human! If you dare, kill now!” Her voice rose with rage, her red eyes wide and wild. “You monster! You deserve to die! Everyone in this world should want you dead!”

Shen Wuxiao looked at her and laughed.

“Why? Because I killed your people?”

“I’ve killed many. But are your hands clean?”

Suzaku refused the comparison, but she still snapped, “You killed all of my brothers. You’ll pay. Retribution will co for you!”

“Retribution?” Shen Wuxiao sneered. “You? Talking about retribution? You’ve killed more than I have. Why isn’t it coming for you?”

“Shaless!” Suzaku growled. “We killed those who deserved it. They were enemies!”

“Oh? Then the people I killed deserved it too. They were my enemies.”

He spread his hands, expression relaxed. “You people just like playing the noble role. Killing is just part of the job when it suits you. But when I do it—it’s a cri?”

“Did Lu Tao’s n deserve to die? Other than the ones directly involved, the rest were just his bodyguards. You slaughtered them all.”

Suzaku’s body trembled with rage. “He kidnapped our boss’s daughter! That beast deserved death!”

Shen Wuxiao stroked his chin, amused. “Fair. Then if I kill your people… you all deserve to die too. So what’s with all the righteous barking?”

“I was at ho, eating. Xuanwu barged in to kill . Why should I let you kill ?”

“If I wasn’t strong enough, I’d be dead.”

“If you want to act like a whore, don’t pretend you’re a martyr. Everyone plays dirty—why pretend your side’s noble?”

“Enough with your excuses!” Suzaku snapped.

Shen Wuxiao shook his head. “See? That’s the problem. You judge with tinted glasses.”

“None of you care about life. I didn’t even know about the girl’s abduction, but none of you cared. You just assud I was involved, so I had to die.”

“You didn’t care about the truth—you just wanted soone to bla. It made you feel better.”

He lit a cigarette and exhaled slowly. “In the end, all of you were just venting your anger.”

“You stood on your high horse, looking down on everyone.”

Suzaku went silent.

He was right.

From her perspective, Shen Wuxiao had killed her teammates—so he was the enemy. But from his perspective, they had co to kill him first.

There was no justice in this fight. No right or wrong.

Only survival.

And she had to admit—Shen Wuxiao had hit the mark. They had acted purely out of rage and grief. No one had cared who was truly guilty.

They had treated everyone on the other side as enemies.

Suzaku finally turned her face away.

“Just kill ,” she said coldly. “If you’re a man, give a clean death.”
