"You got out of my skill’s influence really fast," Damian said as he thrust forward, towards Lilura’s neck.

Lilura ducked beneath the attack, letting the halberd pass through the air above her.

Damian’s halberd shifted almost instantly, coming down in a vertical cleave over Lilura’s head.

Her axe appeared in her hand and she swung up simultaneously.

A loud chi rang through the air, sending sharp gales that threatened to slice anything that ca between them.

Damian chuckled as he pulled back.

Lilura did not let him wander far; she swung her axe wide towards his torso.

Clang.

It t a huge sword.

Leo flashed a cold grin at her.

He pushed her back with the blade and drove his foot into her chest.

Lilura was sent flying, her body rolling across the ground until she ca to a halt.

Azrael looked at the three bodies he had now dropped far from the main battlefield.

"Hopefully, they are safe here," he muttered as he moved in a blur towards the other two.

Lilura stood up from the floor, her gaze cold as she locked eyes with the trio.

"So, you guys are next," she whispered, her voice soft.

"For what? You think you can defeat us?" Damian asked, looking at Leo and Azrael with a frown.

"She is too cocky, I hate it," he said, rubbing his head with his free hand.

Lilura chuckled.

"I should start with you."

Damian looked back towards her.

She was gone.

No movent.

She disappeared from the battlefield entirely.

Then, a spark.

Black flas erupted in front of Damian and Lilura appeared from them, axe already swinging in a wide horizontal arc towards his neck.

Damian caught the attack with the blade of his halberd.

His body dipped slightly, his feet digging into the earth beneath.

Azrael drove his dagger in before Lilura could pull back.

Blood splattered as the dagger pierced through her eye.

Azrael withdrew the dagger in a flash.

As the dagger exited, black flas flared along the eye, creating a new one.

Lilura pulled back, her axe cleaving down.

Damian, as if he were a sentry ant to block all of her attacks, caught the axe with the shaft of his halberd again.

Lilura groaned in discomfort.

Leo took full advantage of the pause.

His greatsword flared with aether as he sliced towards her neck.

Lilura abandoned the axe entirely, leaving it in the hold of Damian’s halberd.

Her body dipped, the greatsword cutting through the space above her.

Her fist shot upward simultaneously.

Leo’s body was lifted slightly as all the air in his lungs was forced out of his mouth.

She spun sideways almost imdiately, avoiding a thrust at her head.

Azrael pulled his dagger back and thrust with his other dagger, this one aid at her ribs.

Lilura hit the dagger with the back of her palm, sending it off course.

Damian, holding his halberd in his right hand and Lilura’s axe in his left, slashed down, the axe creating a sharp, violent whistle as it tore towards Lilura’s shoulder.

Lilura grinned at Damian’s attack.

She sidestepped, letting the axe pass.

Her hand shot forward in the sa instant, yanking the axe from his hand.

Her body dropped.

The axe weighed more than she could carry.

Damian pressed the advantage, his halberd creating a trail of blue as he slashed towards her neck.

The halberd connected.

Lilura’s head fell to the ground with a gentle thud.

Damian smiled.

"Collecting your weapon from an enemy without checking is stupid."

"What?" Damian yelled as his body was suddenly lifted off the ground.

Leo set him on the floor far from the original place.

Lilura looked at both of them, her axe completing its arc that could have split Damian if he had stayed there just a second too long.

"Oh, thank you," Damian said, shaking Leo with his free hand.

"You idiot, focus," Azrael yelled, sparks flying through the air as his daggers slid across Lilura’s axe.

The sparks touched Damian and Leo’s faces.

Damian moved on instinct, his body flashing to her left side, halberd ripping through the air towards Lilura’s ribs.

Leo was not to be left behind.

His greatsword slashed from the right, towards her neck.

Lilura’s body erupted in a flicker of flas, reappearing far from the combined attack of both of them.

Her eyes widened.

She was back in the sa position before she could fully settle.

Leo’s sword cleaved through her flesh, the sound of fabric ripping filling the air as blood splattered to the ground.

So, that’s his skill, Azrael thought as he looked at Leo.

All of them jumped back, creating a gap between themselves and Lilura’s corpse.

"Aren’t we just wasting our strength here?" Damian suddenly asked as he saw dark flas erupt from Lilura’s fallen body.

Leo looked at him from the corner of his eye.

"I an, she just keeps regenerating no matter how we kill her," Damian added.

"Our only chance is restraining her but she is too strong for us to do that," Leo said.

Azrael was about to speak when a blade entered his vision.

His body bent backwards from the waist.

Lilura’s axe sliced through the air above him.

Damian countered before she could pull her axe back.

He swung his halberd in a wide, horizontal slash.

Lilura raised her other hand, catching the halberd’s blade in her palm.

Damian’s eyes widened in surprise as he looked at Lilura.

The air groaned violently as Leo’s greatsword tore through it.

Lilura caught the slash with her axe.

She held both fighters without so much as twitching.

Azrael ca up, driving his daggers towards her simultaneously, one aid for her neck, the other for her ribs.

The attacks connected, tearing deep holes in the places they targeted.

But Lilura did not die.

Azrael yanked his daggers back and rose, his body twisting as his leg smashed hard against Lilura’s face.

Lilura was thrown to the floor from the impact.

Leo’s sword whistled through the air, slicing through her legs.

Before he could pull his sword back fully, the leg had regenerated in a flare of dark flas.

Damian’s halberd had already cut through her arms before she could fully grow her legs back.

Blood, thick and choking, filled that space as the cycle repeated for over five minutes.

Lilura’s body erupted in flas, disappearing from that point.

As if they had been through it before, none of them stopped the descent of their weapons.

Lilura reappeared in position.

"Okay," she yelled.

The surroundings seed to respond to her scream as everything darkened.

Their heads whipped up on instinct, and they saw it.

A massive ball of dark flas covering the entire battlefield.

Space seed to lose its color as it flew down.

Lilura’s crazed laughter filled their ears as the ball neared.

"You shouldn’t have toyed with fire," she said.

Damian remained rather calm as he channeled aether into his halberd.

He raised it high above his head.

The axe of the halberd began to burn red, the air visibly hotter around it.

Leo did not remain idle.

He held his greatsword with both hands, channeling aether into it like a tide.

"Plasma Cleave," Damian yelled as he swung his halberd towards the huge ball.

A massive arc of plasma shot from the attack, burning through the air as it reached the ball.

Leo swung simultaneously.

"Fla Collapse."

He brought his greatsword down.

A pillar of flas descended over the ball of flas.

Azrael swung his daggers, sending arcs of aether towards the attack.

Everything collided at once.

Silence filled the entire space at first, then ti seed to pause.

Then, an explosion.

Not a small one.

The air itself stopped flowing.

A crack appeared at that point, revealing a pitch-black space that closed almost imdiately.

Those beneath were crushed under the overwhelming force.

Lilura fell to the floor, her body caving deep into the earth beneath.

The trio were far less fortunate.

They fell to the ground, their bodies giving up before they could even resist.

They collapsed.

The explosion drew the attention of everyone in the area but not everyone dared to co to a place like that.

The entire thing stopped.

Lilura stood up from the floor, her tattered clothes reforming as dark flas flared along her fra.

"Isn’t this pretty?" she asked calmly, walking towards the three people on the floor.

Just then, a pillar shot from the sky, inches away from her head, and she sliced through it with her axe that appeared out of nowhere.

The pillar burst into a mist of blue aether.

Before she could look away, the mist transford into daggers.

Her eyes widened as the daggers pierced through her body.

Again, she reford from a torrent of dark flas that enveloped all the pieces of her body.

"It seems like there is no end to you insects," she yelled.

Dark flas began to pour out of her body, condensing into several shapes above her.

"Do I need to crush you all before you listen?"
