Silas looked at the two skills calmly before he tapped on the Absolute Drop skill.

[Skill: Absolute Drop:

Effect 1: Absolute Loot:

All slain enemies have a chance to drop either their cultivation base, Laws, Cores, techniques, souls, or their mories.

Souls can be summoned as phantom warriors. All other gains are absorbed directly into the host’s body without any backlash.

Effect 2: Absolute Seizure:

A once-per-day forced drop that bypasses all drop weights and seizes the target’s single most precious thing.]

Silas read the skill effects with wide eyes. He did not know when he had stopped ascending the staircase.

"This can’t be true, why is it this crazy?" He asked himself in shock.

The skill may have sounded weak, but Silas understood the full weight behind each effect.

"I can easily beco the strongest with this skill," he said.

Although it did not directly boost his combat power like Max’s or Billie’s, if he played his cards well, his power would be no less than theirs.

He continued walking up, stopping in front of Alia’s door.

He knocked softly, three tis.

No response.

"Where is she?" Silas muttered to himself as he walked away and headed towards his room.

He picked his bag from the bed, then walked out.

When he reached outside the building, he turned back to look at the mansion, his eyes lingering on it a little too long.

This was the first place he had ever had to call ho since his birth.

And there was a chance that he would take too long to take down the entirety of the Crimson Fang group.

Even if he did, the Governor of the Orion Sector would arrive in about 25 days.

"This is probably my last day here. I would miss it," he said as he turned back.

But he still stole cursory glances back at the mansion.

He did not see Alia anywhere, and was thus unable to bid her farewell.

"I hope Governor Max delivers my greetings to her," he said as he entered the plane.

The engine whirred to life as it lifted off the ground smoothly.

Silas looked down at the mansion one last ti from the window, then faced forward.

"This Chapter is closed. I should focus on the future now."

The plane was quiet to the point where even their breaths could be heard by the person next to them.

"Why are you all so quiet?" Lilura suddenly yelled. "This silence is driving crazy," she said, pulling her hair.

Michael looked at her, a slight smile forming on his face.

"How about we play a ga of cards?" He asked.

Lilura nodded, looking at Michael like he was so kind of savior.

Not that Michael was uncomfortable with the silence, but seeing that she was, he could not help but offer to play with her, not only to make her happy but to preserve the silence for the rest of the mbers.

A pack of cards appeared in his palm and he began to shuffle, skillfully mixing the cards.

He dealt and the ga started.

Silas looked at the makeshift table with curiosity.

In less than 10 minutes, the ga ended in Michael’s win.

"Again," Lilura said, not even waiting to digest the last ga.

Michael nodded and shuffled the cards again.

Another loss.

"Again."

The cycle repeated over 10 tis before Silas cut in.

"Let join in," he said with a smile as he neared them.

Michael smiled. "Are you better than her?" He asked, giving Silas his share of the cards.

"I think so," Silas shrugged as he collected the cards.

The ga started.

The first round ended in a blink.

Silas lost.

Lilura burst into laughter, slapping her knee repeatedly. "You think so?" She mocked, tears forming at the corners of her eyes.

Silas stared at his cards, then at Michael, who still had a calm expression.

"Again," Silas said flatly.

Michael shuffled and dealt.

Second round.

Silas lost again.

The laughter from Lilura was louder this ti. Even Miller, whose arms were crossed with his eyes closed, cracked a faint smile.

Silas said nothing.

They played again. Another loss.

"Okay, I understand your ga now," Silas said, cracking his knuckles with a grin.

Lilura looked at him, a scoff forcing its way through her lips.

Michael dealt again and the round started.

Lilura lost just as fast as the ga started.

Then Silas locked eyes with Michael.

He opened with a ten of spades.

Michael played a jack of spades over it calmly.

Silas did not react. He waited for Michael.

Michael played a six of hearts.

Silas covered with a nine of hearts.

They went back and forth, each one countering the other carefully.

Michael played in a way that was almost too boring to watch, always playing a perfect counter.

Michael led with a four of clubs.

Silas looked at the ace of clubs sitting in his palm.

His hand swept over it to the seven of clubs instead.

Michael responded with an eight.

Lilura looked at Silas like he was a crazy person. "Why didn’t you use the ace?" She whispered.

Silas said nothing. He was in a flow state where any distraction could make him lose.

Two rounds later, Michael played a king of clubs with a confident smile.

Silas smirked, pulling the ace of clubs from his hand.

Michael looked at Silas with scrutiny.

Then he shifted slightly and played a three of diamonds.

Silas played a five of diamonds.

Michael took it with a queen.

Both sides had four cards left.

Michael played a king of hearts. Silas covered it with his ace.

Three cards left each.

Silas led for the first ti, playing a two of diamonds.

Michael covered it with a ten.

They looked at each other, then at the two cards in their hands.

Silas played again with a king.

Michael took it with his queen.

Silas played a four of diamonds.

Michael looked at him with a wry smile, then played a three of diamonds.

"You won," he said.

Silas nodded.

"Again," Michael said for the first ti.
