The dining hall door clicked open and Lilura stepped out.

Silas stood nearby, his eyes eting hers as she passed him without a word.

Silas did not bother. He walked back into the dining hall.

"So, Rion, did you save the conversation?" He asked.

"Yes."

Silas nodded with a smile as he walked out of the dining hall, already heading to his room.

"Clara, I don’t want any disturbances. I would be in seclusion until I feel like coming out," he said to Clara, who had appeared behind him at so point as he walked. "No one is to disturb unless I co out willingly."

"Yes, Master Silas," Clara replied, trailing his steps.

Silas nodded.

Soon, they reached the elevator and Silas went up to his room.

He sat on his bed, his back resting against the headboard as he reviewed the list of things he wanted to learn, from the full ga making process, to the techniques, to the models.

"This would be a long journey," Silas muttered with a slight smile.

Scrolling through the mountain of manuals he had bought in the Nexus Dinsion, Silas decided to start with the techniques first.

"Let’s see Phantom Step first," Silas said to Rion.

Instantly, a window popped up in his sight, showing him the technique’s instructions, from the activation condition to the aether movent required to ensure the technique’s activation.

"Wait, according to the aether theory in my mind, isn’t this a less efficient thod of channeling aether?" Silas asked no one in particular.

Phantom Step was a skill that channeled aether through the body to increase speed and allow phasing.

But seeing the inefficient thod of channeling aether, Silas could not help but scoff.

"Let’s see, deduce the best thod to channel this aether and achieve the sa result," Silas said to himself.

One of the altars in his mind suddenly flared, glowing with a bright golden light as it swept through all the knowledge embedded in Silas’s mind.

Silas moved to the next technique without delay.

"Grounded Lightning Strike," he said to Rion.

Silas read through the instructions, nodding as he reached the end.

"It is a Heaven tier technique. Obviously, there is nothing to correct there."

This technique was for dual daggers.

The user plants one dagger in the earth and uses the other one to fight.

Every hit using the one in hand sends an arc of electricity to the enemy.

"Empty Draw," he said to Rion.

This technique was a katana type that released wind aether as the blade was drawn, creating a vacuum that pulled everything within a certain radius towards the blade.

Like the first one, Silas had nothing to correct in this one.

"Reversing Current Slash."

This one was quite special.

On slashing, it released an arc of water aether that moved in the opposite direction mid arc.

A thought suddenly struck Silas.

"Deduce a new technique using Reversing Current Slash and Empty Draw."

One of the altars glowed again and began to fuse the essence of both techniques.

"Shadow Relocation."

In less than 30 minutes, Silas had finished reading all the techniques.

He rembered their aether pathways fully.

"Now, I need to truly practice them," he said, looking through the list of books again, thinking of which one to take.

"Choosing the Right Genre then," he said.

This was more of an educational book and did not need any practical application to understand, which made it more ideal to read than the three models in his mind.

"I would read those after I learn the techniques," he said.

Ti slipped by. Silas did not know how much ti had passed, but he was sure he had spent close to 3 hours.

He finally completed the book.

Silas stretched.

"It should be done now, right?" He wondered, looking into his mind.

The one he was truly waiting for was the fusion of Reversing Current Slash and Empty Draw.

On the altar, Silas saw the two books, fully deduced.

A smile graced his lips as he reached for the newly created technique.

[Empty Reversing Draw: Unsheathes the sword, pulling everything within sight towards the blade’s point, before exploding outward with pressure.]

’Did it change at all?’ Silas wondered as he read the description.

There was no difference to him.

"I will just see it later when I try it in the Virtual Training Ground."

He brought out the newly created Phantom Step manual.

The error had been corrected and the technique now cost only thirty percent of the aether it had cost before.

After a few minutes of reviewing, Silas called out to Rion.

"Send to the Nexus Dinsion," he said.

Silas’s fra flickered and he appeared in the Nexus Dinsion.

He walked into the sa inn he had entered previously and booked a room for 3 hours this ti.

"Thank you sir, it is the sa room as before," the clerk said. "Do you need a guide?"

"No, don’t worry," Silas said as he walked towards the sa room as before.

He entered, taking in the sight of the familiar space.

Laying back on the bed, a screen appeared in his face, showing him a list of available servers.

Silas selected Virtual Training Ground.

He fell unconscious in the sa breath.

In a vast space of ethereal beauty, several counters lined the space.

Walking to one of the counters, Silas spoke to the clerk.

"I would like to rent a training ground," he said.

The person nodded.

"Your full na, planet, and sector."

Silas told her everything.

After a few minutes, she looked up, staring at Silas calmly.

"Here, this is a platinum grade training ground access card," the clerk said.

"I can’t afford it," Silas said, scratching his head with a smile.

He was rich. After all, he had over a billion in net worth.

But compared to the top grade facilities of the Human Empire, it was not even worth ntioning.

"This is a free access card, given to you due to your status. You can use the training ground freely for 5 hours every 24 hours," the clerk explained.

"Oh," Silas exhaled.

"Thank you," he said as he walked towards the platinum area.

’I wonder how they keep digging into my background,’ he thought. ’But more than that, why do they think so highly of ?’
