Hazuki sighed, rubbing his temples.
"Haaa... whatever..." He took a deep breath, gathering his thoughts. Then—he looked at the guards.
"Anyway..." He scratched his head. "Is there a bank or an Adventurer’s Guild here?"
One of the guards crossed his arms, nodding.
"We have an Adventurer’s Guild, but it’s a small one."
The other shrugged.
"And a bank? You’ll need to go to the capital city for that."
Hazuki clicked his tongue.
Well, the Adventurer’s Guild will do." He stretched his arms. "I just need to withdraw so money."
The guards chuckled.
"Yeah, good luck. And again—welco to Hazlin Town."
Hazuki grinned.
"Jeez, thanks, chibi."
"OI!"
Before the angry halfling guards could react, Hazuki dashed past them, laughing as he ran into town.
"AHAHAHAHA!"
The guards fud, shaking their fists.
"Damn it! We should’ve taxed him just for that!"
anwhile, Hazuki whistled happily, finally stepping into a new town filled with new opportunities. As he strolled into Hazlin Town, his eyes widened at the sight before him.
"Woo... this is nice!"
Everywhere he looked, adorable, petite halfling girls filled the streets. Hazuki grinned like an idiot, his exhaustion instantly forgotten. He casually leaned down, flashing his best smile.
"Hello there, little lady~"
One halfling girl tilted her head, blinking up at him. He then turned to another.
"And hello there, cutie pie."
More halfling girls turned their heads, staring at the towering human who had suddenly entered their town. Hazuki stood out like a sore thumb, but in his mind— this was paradise.
Hazuki ran a hand through his hair—just like those flashy pretty boys in romance dramas. With a confident smirk, he leaned down toward one of the adorable halfling girls and said in his smoothest voice,
"Hello, cutie~ Mind showing where the Adventurer’s Guild is?"
The halfling girl blushed, her tiny hands fidgeting as she looked around nervously.
"Umm... there." She pointed sowhere vaguely.
Hazuki squinted.
"Uh... where?"
The girl turned even redder, avoiding his gaze.
"Umm... umm... if... you want... I can... show you."
Hazuki, unable to resist, mimicked her stutter with a teasing grin.
"O-o-oh... o-okay~~"
The halfling girl covered her face with both hands and ran away. The surrounding halflings burst into giggles, whispering among themselves.
He happily skipped through the town, arms swinging as he humd to himself.
"La~ la~ la~ la~ la~~"
Every few steps, he admired another halfling girl, throwing out casual complints like a man on a mission.
"Oh, hello there, cutie~!" he grinned at a passing rchant girl. She turned bright red and scurried away.
"Woo~ cute!" he whistled at another, who imdiately dropped her basket of apples in shock.
"Wow... nice~" he said, nodding approvingly at a passing halfling lady with a graceful walk.
Then, spotting a particularly confident one with an alluring sway, Hazuki let out a playful whistle.
"Oho~ that’s so sway there! Feewiitt~!"
The halfling won giggled, while a few smacked their friends playfully, whispering about the "tall and bold human."
anwhile, the halfling n just stared at him with mixed expressions—ranging from confusion to sheer disbelief.
"...What is this guy doing?" one of them mumbled.
"Flirting with everything that moves, apparently."
"Bold."
"Or suicidal."
Hazuki, completely oblivious to the reactions, kept strutting forward, ready to finally reach the Adventurer’s Guild.
The mont Hazuki stepped inside, he blinked. The guild hall was... quiet. There were only two receptionists sitting behind the counter—both halfling girls—and no adventurers in sight.
The two receptionists looked up, eyes widening in surprise. One of them tilted her head.
"Oh... hello there, adventurer."
Hazuki grinned, casually strolling up to the counter.
"Oh, hello... wow... you’re cute."
The receptionist’s ears twitched, and her cheeks turned pink as she quickly adjusted her papers.
"U-Umm... t-thank you?"
The other receptionist leaned in, smirking.
"My my, how bold~ Not used to seeing halfling girls?"
"Nope. First ti." Hazuki rested his elbow on the counter, still flashing his signature grin. "And so far... I like what I see."
The receptionist cleared her throat, shaking off her flustered reaction.
"So, what business do you have here, Mr. Human?" she asked, putting on a professional smile.
Hazuki chuckled, flipping his hair in a flashy motion.
"Ah, just call Hazuki... or Handso."
The second receptionist smirked, raising an eyebrow.
"Mr. Hazuki it is. Now, what brings you to the Adventurer’s Guild?"
Hazuki sighed dramatically, leaning slightly over the counter.
"I’d like to withdraw so money."
"Of course. Your adventurer card, please."
He handed over his card, watching as the receptionist inspected it. Her ears twitched again as her eyes widened slightly.
"You’re Level 20? But... you’re still a newbie-ranked adventurer?"
"Yeah, yeah, I know, shocking, right?" Hazuki rolled his eyes.
The second receptionist giggled, handing the card back.
"How much would you like to withdraw?"
"Hmm... three silver coins for now."
The receptionist nodded, making a small note before heading toward the back.
"Alright, just wait a mont while we process your withdrawal."
Hazuki sighed, stretching his arms behind his head.
"No rush. I got all the ti in the world."
As he waited, he couldn’t help but glance around the empty guild hall.
"Man... this place is quiet. Where are all the adventurers?"
The second receptionist chuckled, leaning forward slightly.
"Hazlin Town isn’t really a hot spot for adventurers, you know? Most just pass through on their way to bigger cities."
"Ohh~ so I have this place all to myself, huh?" Hazuki grinned, giving her a playful wink.
The receptionist just laughed, shaking her head.
"You’re quite the character, aren’t you?"
The other receptionist returned with a small pouch and set it down in front of him.
"Here are your three silver coins... and stop flirting."
Hazuki pouted, feigning offense.
"Eh? I was just having a conversation!"
The second receptionist crossed her arms, smirking.
"Yeah, yeah, says the guy already wearing that pinky promise ring. You know no girl will want to be with you, even just for one night..."
Hazuki groaned dramatically, rubbing his temples.
"Haaa... fine." He grabbed the pouch and grinned, slipping the coins into his pocket.
Then, with his usual charm, he flashed them a playful smile.
"By the way, nice chatting with you both."
The first receptionist just rolled her eyes, while the second chuckled.
"Yeah, yeah, just don’t get lost on your way out, Mr. Handso."
Hazuki grinned wider, giving them a mock salute before turning on his heel.
"No promises!"
With that, he strutted toward the exit, feeling a little better now that he had so money in his pocket.
"Alright! Ti to find so food!"
