Chapter 1133: Farewell to the Frog
Zhang Yi took a sip of hot tea and was the first to step inside.
His abilities had already locked onto Mu Yan, so he wasn't worried about her trying any tricks.
After entering the Shadow Space, Zhang Yi discovered it wasn't as dark as he had imagined.
It was a fairly large space, roughly the size of the entire Cloud Villa Estate. The ground beneath his feet was solid, and although there was no moon in the sky above, the ceiling shimred with a dark blue radiance.
Vast, but empty.
Right in the center of the Shadow Space, however, lay a huge double bed, with clothes scattered haphazardly around it.
Zhang Yi's eyes widened slightly. Among the ordinary clothes strewn on the floor were nurous stockings and undergarnts.
Zhang Yi had only glanced at them when Mu Yan hurriedly walked over, her steps quick, and stuffed those clothes under the quilt.
"I live simply."
Mu Yan deliberately said in a cool tone.
The others followed in, all marveling at the imnse size of the Shadow Space.
Mu Yan hadn't been wrong; housing several thousand people here wouldn't feel cramped at all.
As a lower-tier derivative of Zhang Yi's abilities, Mu Yan's Shadow Space had almost no combat capabilities.
Strictly speaking, it was for stealthy attachnt, hiding, and storing supplies.
"It's a bit simple, but it's not a big issue."
Zhang Yi said calmly.
"We can find ways to add so housing and furniture here. The Shelter isn't lacking in supplies, so it's easily solved."
Lu Keran said, "I'll handle the housing problem. While I can't manage many large villas, I can whip up simple housing in no ti."
Zhou Ke'er nodded with a smile. "The conditions here are already very good!"
The group stayed in the Shadow Space for a while before leaving.
After all, it was too empty, and there wasn't much to see.
Once everyone was out, they began organizing supplies, moving all necessary food and daily necessities inside.
Housing and furniture were left to Lu Keran and Zhang Yi to handle.
Using her abilities, Lu Keran could quickly produce a batch of simple housing. Though called 'simple,' it ca fully equipped with all necessary facilities and was sturdy and durable.
As for furniture, when Zhang Yi had swept through nearly all the major shopping malls in Tianhai City, he had co across plenty of luxury furniture.
Taking out so of that would be more than enough.
Fatty Xu and Old You were responsible for moving things.
After Old You's training, Fatty Xu, though his physique hadn't slimd down much, had significantly improved his strength and endurance.
Even though he kept huffing and puffing about being tired, moving furniture was clearly much easier for him than before.
Everyone else was happily preparing supplies for the trip, obviously treating this journey to Shengjing as a vacation.
Zhang Yi looked towards a corner of the living room. Totoro sat innocently and adorably not far from the fireplace, playing with its beloved bone flute.
Currently, Zhang Yi still knew nothing about Totoro's origins.
It was basically harmless and had beco a beloved pet for everyone in the household.

Now that everyone was heading to Shengjing, Zhang Yi was considering whether to bring it along.

Then, he walked out of the Shelter and ca to the Egret River in front of the Cloud Villa Estate.
Zhang Yi arrived at the riverside. The thick ice was as hard as tal, but several dozen ters from the bank, there was a patch of ice with a much lighter color.
Zhang Yi walked over and tapped on the ice surface with his hand.
Not long after, a giant frog crawled out from beneath the ice.

"No need, thank you for the offer. Frog, we're leaving for a while."
The frog was montarily stunned upon hearing this. "Ribbit? Where are you going? Will you be gone long?"
A trace of reluctance flickered in his eyes.
Over the past six months, he had developed deep bonds with Zhang Yi and the others, especially with Totoro. These two creatures, unable to communicate through language, had beco the best of friends through the shared language of music.
Without Totoro, his recorder solos would beco lonely and desolate.
Zhang Yi thought for a mont and smiled. "Probably not too long! But it's hard to say for sure."
"Ribbit! I understand. I'll wait here for you all. You should know, frogs hibernate."
"As long as I close my eyes, I can sleep until the end of ti! But when you return, you just need to gently tap the ice, and I'll wake up imdiately."
"So I'll wait right here for you to co back, my friend!"
Zhang Yi smiled. Frog was always so likable; his world seed free of worries, always maintaining optimism about everything.
"Oh, right, there's one more thing I think I should tell you."
Frog suddenly said.
Zhang Yi blinked. "Hmm? What is it?"
Frog spread his arms, revealing his round, plump belly.
"It's that music can open people's hearts. You can hear things that words cannot express."
Zhang Yi crossed his arms. "You should know, I'm not very knowledgeable about music. I only know how to listen. And for , if it sounds good, it's good music."
Frog shook his head. "No, I'm not trying to discuss that with you. What I an is, through music, I can sense Totoro's inner feelings!"
He placed a hand over his chest, closed his eyes, and said, "I can feel its heart is very lonely, and it's confused about this world."
Zhang Yi raised an eyebrow.
This frog was probably having an artistic mont. Zhang Yi couldn't be bothered to get sentintal about this.
"Mhm, mhm, mhm, you're right. Well, that's settled then. We'll see you later!"
Frog hopped about. "Ribbit! Once I wake up from my sleep, we'll et again."
Zhang Yi reached out his hand to bid farewell to Frog.
Over the next three days, the whole family was extrely excited about this rare long-distance trip. They decorated their future residence—Mu Yan's Shadow Space—with exceptional extravagance.
Even Zhang Yi was startled when he saw it.
Because it had clearly beco a massive and magnificent estate!
There were too many talented people in the household. They had decked it out with lanterns and decorations, and it seed to have everything one could possibly need.
They had even laid down artificial turf, creating a huge courtyard.
They also diverted water to form an artificial lake and, with great enthusiasm, tossed so shallow-water fish into it.
Zhang Yi was also dumbfounded, thinking to himself: You guys really know how to have fun!
This also highlighted a problem from the side: everyone had been cooped up for far too long. Although it was safe at ho, humans are ultimately creatures who enjoy going out and seeing distant scenery.
