The sudden appearance of the King Worm did not co as a surprise to the group.

Zong Yue manipulated earth and stone, forming massive pillars to encircle the King Worm, attempting to replicate the tactic used against the Broodmother earlier.
But the King Worm rely swept a single ray, shattering them all into dust.
Zhang Yi drew White Owl, using [All Things Follow Traces] to lock onto the King Worm's massive form.
Without the slightest hesitation, he imdiately unleashed his currently most powerful attack—[Spear of Annihilation]!
With allies present, there was no need to spend ti probing slowly. He would use this move to test its defenses and reaction speed.
The two guns rged into one. Behind Zhang Yi, a massive dark void halo manifested. Boundless void power, like a dark, viscous tide, attached itself to White Owl.
Then, aiming at the King Worm, he unleashed a world-shaking strike!
The muzzle was aid at the King Worm's current position, but after the bullet left the chamber, it would change course mid-air through the Dinsional Gate, aiming at where the King Worm would be two seconds later.
Without having experienced this move before, no one could quickly discern its secret.
The King Worm was naturally no exception.
It sensed the power of this attack and had no intention of taking it head-on. Its massive, twisted body was incredibly agile; its muscle groups contorted, its body dodging the Spear of Annihilation's initial trajectory.
But it didn't expect the attack fired from the gun could change direction mid-flight!
"BOOM!"
The Spear of Annihilation struck the King Worm's body head-on, aiming for its waist and abdon—the location of its power origin. Only by destroying that could the King Worm be killed.
Zong Yue and the others stared intently at the King Worm. They were all apprehensive about the power of this move, unsure how much damage it would inflict.
The Spear of Annihilation created a massive dark space at the King Worm's location.
But monts later, the dark space vanished. Everyone saw a sight that made their scalps tingle.
Zhang Yi's strike had indeed caused effective damage. They could clearly see the King Worm's waist and abdon area had been corroded into a bloody, ragged ss, flesh and blood flowing freely.

Zong Yue then said, "This thing's defenses are too formidable. Being able to survive in magma shows ordinary ans won't kill it."
"Now, we should still have Gouchen as the main attacker. The rest of us will create opportunities for him to attack!"
Zhang Yi didn't say anything. This behemoth was indeed difficult to deal with.

The sudden change caught Li Changgong off guard. He had to dodge the magma.
And at that mont, the King Worm's head shot through the magma, its body twisting as it bit towards him!
The King Worm was too fast. Li Changgong had intended to sever its head with one slash, but it dodged the blade's path, biting towards his body from a bizarre angle!
"CRUNCH!"
Li Changgong's left arm, along with the Adamantium alloy Long Sword in his hand, was bitten off in one go. The long sword held out for only a mont before, "CRACK! CRACK!" shattering into a dozen pieces!
Intense pain instantly drained the color from Li Changgong's face. He nearly fainted but managed to hold on through sheer force of will.
Zong Yue's feet stomped the ground. Countless rocks enveloped his body as he transford into a several-hundred-ter-tall stone giant, charging to the King Worm's side and punching it away with trendous force!
This saved Li Changgong's life. He quickly created distance, then injected dication to stop the bleeding.
