The Martial Arena had once been a mysterious existence in the Jiangnan Region.

Martial Arena’s real na was Batu, and his ability was spatial type—he could control the size and range of space and possessed a certain restraining power.

So back in Blizzard City, he was assigned to be the supervisor of the training grounds.

Later, Gao Changkong found him.

To Gao Changkong, persuading a frustrated superhuman to follow him wasn’t a difficult task.

After all, the Martial Arena was just a logistics staff mber, while Gao Changkong could offer him a higher ceiling.

Later, after following Gao Changkong and the others out of the Jiangnan Region, he went to Bharata and beca a mber of Gao Changkong’s Garuda’s Followers.

Now, his codena among Garuda’s Followers was Tushita Heaven.

So, although Zhang Yi had never t him, Batu was very familiar with Zhang Yi.

"You’re waiting for here—what do you want? You’d better give a satisfactory answer, or else—"

Zhang Yi narrowed his eyes, a cold sneer curling at the corner of his mouth.

Anyone appearing here now was a competitor, and he wasn’t about to be polite.

Batu quickly waved his hands. "No, no, no, listen, Zhang Yi, we’re practically old acquaintances. Sure, you’ve never seen my face, but I’m pretty familiar with you."

"Oh, right, I’m also very familiar with your abilities! After all, we’re both rare spatial types, aren’t we?"

He grinned. "Besides, you fought within my domain as a data analyst—I didn’t skimp on studying your data!"

Zhang Yi raised an eyebrow and sneered. "If you’re really that impressive, how did Gao Changkong get defeated by back then?"

Batu tilted his head. "Defeated? You could say that. But he was thwarted by your plans, not outmatched by you."

"You talk too much."

Zhang Yi couldn’t be bothered to waste more words with this guy. The long sword in his hand was about to swing out.

But just then, a strange grin spread across Batu’s lips.

With a flick of his thumb, a die in his hand suddenly spun through the air toward Zhang Yi and the others.

By the ti it reached above them, the die had abruptly enlarged to the size of a building, crashing down heavily on them!

Only then did Zhang Yi and the others realize why he’d been toying with those dice in his hand all along.

It was a weapon compressed by his spatial ability.

"How boring."

Zhang Yi said flatly.

Before he could make a move, Liang Yue had already leaped into the air like a cheetah. Facing that massive die, she executed a move that seed as futile as an ant shaking a tree, punching it fiercely!

But this seemingly disproportionate counterattack directly sent the giant die flying back, crashing "BOOM!!" into the ground not far away.

The earth sank instantly, and the huge die stopped in the distance, looming like a small hill.

"Die."

Zhang Yi had no more words to say. Since the other party had struck first, there was no reason to let him live.

The long sword shot out, and a Void Blade swept horizontally.

But that powerful force sliced through Batu’s body as if passing through empty space. His form blurred for a mont before returning to normal.

He grinned and raised his hand again, pointing to the sky.

"There’s more than one die, you know!"

Zhang Yi was a bit surprised. His Mind Domain could keenly sense spatial fluctuations around him.

If Batu had thrown out two dice, there was no way it could have escaped his perception.

But the next mont, Fatty Xu and the others gasped in alarm.

Zhang Yi looked up slightly, and the sight before him made his brows furrow instantly.

Above their heads, the sky was occupied by a massive ghost face.

The entire sky was taken over by a ghost-faced die.

Zhang Yi raised his blade to strike, but the ghost face instantly engulfed the whole world.

His vision suddenly went dark, and the world around Zhang Yi and the others changed completely.

Batu had vanished, and instead of blue skies, white clouds, and green grass, they were now in a dim, abandoned room.

There was no light inside, but the surroundings were barely visible.

It seed to be a hospital room—two rusty hospital beds stood in the space, and the window was covered by a white curtain.

Zhang Yi looked toward the door and saw a long, narrow, dark hallway with faint outlines of other doors.

A cold, terrifying aura perated the air.

The whole place felt like an abandoned hospital wing.

"What… what is this place? Why are we here?"

Fatty Xu asked nervously, unsettled by the eerie transition.

Chodak and the dozens of elite superhumans from the Pagyi Family behind him gripped their weapons, staying alert as they stood guard for Zhang Yi.

They didn’t act rashly—before leaving, Pagyi Gesang had told them to obey Zhang Yi in everything.

Even if he ordered them to die.

Strangely enough, though there were dozens of them in this group, the room didn’t feel crowded at all.

Zhang Yi stepped toward the window and pulled open the white curtain.

Dust fell "puff puff" as he did, and the scene outside confird it was indeed a hospital.

The sky outside was gray, thick with haze. They were in a building, seemingly three or four stories high.

Outside was a dilapidated yard, the lawn long abandoned. So rehabilitation equipnt and a wheelchair missing one wheel lay eerily on the ground.

Not far away stood a withered locust tree, from which a rusty swing hung. A breeze passed by, and it swayed with a creaking sound, as if soone were gently swinging on it.

"We must have entered the Martial Arena’s space."

Zhang Yi said calmly.

Everything was crystal clear now. As a spatial-type superhuman, he knew the characteristics of this ability well.

But every superhuman’s ability had its differences.

Zhang Yi’s space couldn’t actively absorb living people, and it seed the Martial Arena didn’t have that ability either.

Combining all the previous clues, Zhang Yi ca to a conclusion.

"They went ahead into the Demon Abyss and had the Martial Arena open a dinsional space here to trap us."

Fatty Xu’s eyes widened in shock.

"What? How dare he! Boss, you’re an Epsilon-level superhuman—how does he dare to go after you?"

Zhang Yi rubbed his forehead. "The superhuman ability index is just a theoretical value. If a superhuman fights on their ho turf, even a huge gap in ability index can be compensated for."

"Besides, we know nothing about his ability yet."

If the opponent was a combat-oriented superhuman, Zhang Yi wouldn’t be afraid at all—as long as he wasn’t Epsilon-level, killing him would be a breeze.

But the Martial Arena’s space—he didn’t yet know how to break it.

"I’ll have to try!"

Zhang Yi raised his long sword, a cold glint in his eyes. "I’ll just destroy this whole place and see what happens!"

But just as he was about to strike, Batu’s voice rang out again in everyone’s ears.

"Welco to my domain—the world of the Asylum."

"I will now explain the rules of the ga to every player entering the Asylum."
