It’s dawn, and the rain has stopped.
The morning sunlight spills onto the windowsill, where a pot of blue lavender sits, its faint fragrance spreading throughout the room.
Li Ruyan sits on the bed, her long hair draped over her shoulders like water. She hugs her knees, with a captivating rosy sheen on her face and eyes that exude an indescribable beauty.
In the morning sunlight and floral scent, she is as beautiful as a painting.
The storm finally stopped last night, the sky cleared, and the air was indescribably fresh. She felt as though her life was filled with youth and vitality.
At this mont, two butterflies fluttered by, landing on the pot of blue lavender on the windowsill, gently opening and closing their beautiful wings.

anwhile, on the second floor, Yuan Yuxi also woke up from her slumber. Suddenly, as if recalling sothing, a happy smile appeared at the corner of her mouth. She grabbed the teddy bear on her bed and hugged it tightly.
The air was filled with the refreshing aura of the morning. Looking at the warm sunlight streaming through the window, she thought to herself: Today’s sunlight is really warm.
Then, realizing it was Monday and she had to go to school, she quickly got out of bed, thinking she needed to take a shower. She humd to Wang Fei’s “Because of Love” as she breezily walked into the bathroom.
In the villa’s dining room, Aunt Zhang had already prepared bread and poured milk, placing them on the table.
At this point, Aunt Zhang saw Li Ruyan, dressed in a white office lady suit, coming down the stairs. Today, Li Ruyan’s hair wasn’t pinned up but flowed naturally, highlighting her delicate face, making her seem more feminine than the usual cold and aloof corporate beauty.
Furthermore, Li Ruyan had switched from her usual sober black office lady suit to white, making her appear younger and more refreshing.
“Miss, you look so beautiful today!~~~” Aunt Zhang ca to her senses and couldn’t help but praise her.
Li Ruyan smiled slightly with her red lips and said, “Thank you, Aunt Zhang. Is breakfast ready?”
Aunt Zhang nodded.
Li Ruyan suddenly thought of sothing and asked Aunt Zhang, “Is there any steak left in the kitchen?”
Aunt Zhang thought for a mont and said, “There’s still steak, but isn’t it too much to have beef this early in the morning?”
Li Ruyan coughed lightly and said, “Lin Fei has been working too hard at the hospital these days, so I want to properly nourish him.”
Aunt Zhang suddenly realized and said, “Oh, that’s why. I’ll make it for Mr. Lin right away.”
Saying this, Aunt Zhang turned and went into the kitchen to make the steak.
Li Ruyan sat down at the table and picked up a glass of milk to drink.
anwhile, Yuan Yuxi also ca down the stairs, her long hair flowing over her shoulders, enchanting with her beauty. She wore a white school uniform, knee-length skirt, long legs, and pink sneakers, humming a song as she ca down.
Seeing Li Ruyan, Yuan Yuxi showed a sweet smile: “Cousin, good morning!”
Li Ruyan put down the milk and smiled in response, “Good morning, cousin!”
Yuan Yuxi sat down next to Li Ruyan and imdiately began drinking the milk in front of her.
While eating, both won glanced at the stairs now and then, each wondering: Why hasn’t Lin Fei woken up yet?
Yuan Yuxi heard noises from Aunt Zhang cooking in the kitchen and asked her cousin, “Cousin, what’s Aunt Zhang making?”
Li Ruyan said, “I thought Lin Fei has been too tired lately, so I asked Aunt Zhang to make him a steak to replenish his nutrients.”
Yuan Yuxi imdiately agreed, “Yes, he should be replenished.”
Thud, thud, thud, footsteps ca down the stairs, and Yuan Yuxi and Li Ruyan simultaneously turned their gaze towards the stairs.
Lin Fei ca down yawning and paused when he saw both Li Ruyan and Yuan Yuxi looking at him. He felt a bit guilty as he looked at them: Are they planning sothing against ?
Just as Lin Fei was worried, Li Ruyan and Yuan Yuxi called out to him, “Lin Fei, co and eat.”
Lin Fei replied and, with a touch of caution, approached the dining table and sat opposite the two won.
Li Ruyan’s gentle and calm gaze, Yuan Yuxi’s unabashed look of affection made Lin Fei feel uncomfortable.
“Lin Fei, did you sleep well last night?” Both won almost simultaneously asked Lin Fei.
Lin Fei thought to himself: You drank so much, how could I sleep well?
But he said, “Good, good, I slept well last night.”
Then Lin Fei asked the two won, “Wasn’t the storm too big last night? Did you sleep well?”
Li Ruyan and Yuan Yuxi seed to recall sothing, and a blush appeared on their faces as if they wore rouge, softly answering with a “Hmm.”
Lin Fei hesitated for a mont, then said to the won, “There was a thief in the villa last night. Did you know?”
Li Ruyan and Yuan Yuxi exchanged a glance and shook their heads, saying they didn’t know.
Then Lin Fei looked at the two won and asked, “So, you didn’t know that I entered… your rooms?”
Li Ruyan and Yuan Yuxi blushed even more, but they still shook their heads: “We didn’t know. Were you catching the thief?”
Lin Fei was stunned and after a mont answered, “Yes…”
Could it be the storm was so loud last night, they knew nothing…
“Mr. Lin, the steak is ready, please try it!” At this mont, Aunt Zhang, wearing an apron, brought out a plate of delicious steak, placed it in front of Lin Fei on the table, and said with a smile.
Lin Fei looked at this plate of steak, feeling a bit bewildered: Eating steak so early, what does this an?
He looked at Aunt Zhang, confused, and asked, “Aunt Zhang, why make steak? Don’t you know steak is high in fat and protein?”
Aunt Zhang apologized, “I’m sorry, Mr. Lin. I didn’t know. Miss said you’ve been too tired at the hospital these days, so she asked to make steak to nourish you.”
Lin Fei looked at Li Ruyan and asked, “Are you worried that I’m too tired?”
Li Ruyan’s blushing face was even more charming. Under Lin Fei’s gaze, she averted her eyes and softly said, “Yes, you’ve been working too hard lately.”
Lin Fei said, “I thought you were worried I was too tired from catching the thief last night.”
Li Ruyan seed as if she hadn’t heard him and lowered her head to drink her milk.
“Lin Fei, eat more steak. It can also boost your kidneys,” Yuan Yuxi said with concern to Lin Fei.
Li Ruyan almost spat her milk from her mouth.
Lin Fei looked at Yuan Yuxi in surprise and said, “Are you saying I need to boost my kidneys?”
Yuan Yuxi nodded seriously, “You’ve been working too hard these days, and you caught a thief all night last night. Of course, that would tire your kidneys, so you should eat more steak.”
Lin Fei never expected Yuan Yuxi to speak about boosting kidneys so matter-of-factly, without a trace of embarrassnt or discomfort.
Convinced, Lin Fei nodded and said, “Alright, I’ll eat steak to boost my kidneys and restore my energy.”
Yuan Yuxi and Li Ruyan blushed, each lowering her head to eat bread and milk, as if they hadn’t heard anything.
Lin Fei never expected the events of last night, and the two won were so calm as if nothing had happened.
