"It looks like you really intend to resist to the bitter end."

Yang Xiao's excited expression did not escape Xuan Tianxin's notice.

Xuan Tianxin didn't know what gave him such confidence, but Yang Xiao remained unafraid even with the experts of the Six Sects gathered before him.

This was definitely not a good thing for Xuan Tianxin.

His expression instantly darkened.

"Resist to the bitter end? You make it sound like you're stronger than ."

Yang Xiao sneered contemptuously.

His gaze swept over the crowd closing in on him. To his surprise, he spotted quite a few familiar faces.

The three won of the Ice Profound Sect: Bing Xin, Bing Ling, and Bing Shuang.

Yann Kuan, the Junior Sect Leader of the Sword and Saber Alliance, and so guy nad Zhang Ao.

Qin Shaofeng of the Six Yang Sect.

More importantly, there were two fish that had slipped through the net.

'So that's why. Lux Wentian wasn't there when the Purple Sun Sect was destroyed, and Qin Rufeng was absent when dicine King Valley fell. It turns out those two have already run to the Profound Celestial Sect.'

Yang Xiao chuckled to himself, but his killing intent only grew stronger.

And within the Profound Celestial Sect's contingent was soone he was determined to kill: Xuan Tianzhan. With him were his two maids—Chu Hongluan, dressed in red, and Lin Shui'Er, in a water-blue gown—as well as Xue Yi, Zhang ngfei, Yang Tian, and the others.

They were all there.

However, apart from Qin Shaofeng, the rest of these younger-generation cultivators were on the outskirts and hadn't rushed toward Yang Xiao.

After all, at Yang Xiao's current level of power, they were no longer a match for him.

Bing Xin, however, looked quite uncomfortable when Yang Xiao's gaze fell on her, clearly not wanting to be his enemy.

Bing Ling, beside her, was the exact opposite.

She was glaring so hard at Yang Xiao it looked like her eyes might pop out. When Yang Xiao had killed Xiaoo Chengjun, the Young Manor Lord of Snow Moon Manor, it had terrified the girl.

'And from the looks of it,' Yang Xiao thought, 'this girl probably had a thing for Xiaoo Chengjun.'

'Why else would she hate so much?'

But to Yang Xiao, none of that mattered.

Wiping out these opponents and taking all their Storage Rings—that was the most important thing right now.

"Old-tir, how much fighting strength do you have left?"

Yang Xiao suddenly turned and asked.

He might have been excited, but the Pure Yang Ancestor was in extrely poor condition.

Being betrayed, especially right after being defeated by a junior, had left the Pure Yang Ancestor utterly disheartened. Still, he had lived for several hundred years.

He finally rallied a bit at Yang Xiao's question. "I can probably muster thirty percent of my fighting strength."

"Thirty percent? From the look of your injuries, they seem old and severe. It looks like your Blood Qi is depleted. I have a few Blood Essence Pills here. Take them, and you should be able to recover seventy or eighty percent of your strength. But once you've recovered, don't make a move. These guys are all mine."

With that, Yang Xiao took out three Blood Essence Pills and handed them over.

He also sent Yang Ziling over to him.

This ti was different; he had to go all out.

As for the Blood Essence Pills, he actually had more—enough to heal the Pure Yang Ancestor completely.

But Yang Xiao didn't like the stuffy old man, so he only gave him three.

'As for later... I'll see how I feel.'

"Thank you."

Just as Yang Xiao resolved to have a good fight, a quiet "thank you" ca from behind him.

He was rather taken aback.

'He never thought this old-tir would actually say thank you.'

Yang Xiao was stunned for a mont.

But seeing the Pure Yang Ancestor's awkward expression, it was clear that saying "thank you" had required him to summon a great deal of courage and swallow his pride.

Yang Xiao didn't needle him any further.

He just said, "Take good care of Yang Ziling. And watch out for that old geezer from the Profound Celestial Sect. He's a crafty one."

"Alright."

Hearing the Pure Yang Ancestor's reply, Yang Xiao nodded.

Holding the Bloodthirsty Sword, he strode toward the disciples of the Six Sects who were closing in on him.

So of the disciples from the Six Sects were eager, while others were hesitant.

After all, everyone recognized Yang Xiao's strength. They all knew this absurdly young man was no weaker than the Profound Celestial Sect's own ancestor.

He couldn't be taken lightly.

So, while they were closing in, they weren't actually moving very fast.

That was true for most of them, of course.

In any group, especially a hastily ford one, there are always one or two morons.

For instance.

Take this guy.

"Yang Xiao, you whelp! When you killed my son, did you ever imagine this day would co?"

The speaker was a man with a pair of purple eyebrows: Zhang Baxian, the Sect Leader of the Six Yang Sect.

Although Zhang Tao hadn't been his favorite child, he was still his son. He naturally loathed Yang Xiao for killing him.

Of course,

the intensity of his hatred couldn't compare to another's.

This man hadn't said a word from the very beginning.

But if looks could kill, Yang Xiao would have died a thousand tis over from his venomous glare.

The man had white robes and white hair—everything about him was snow-white, even, it seed, his eyebrows.

He was none other than Xiaoo Bufan, the Manor Lord of Snow Moon Manor, whose son had also been killed by Yang Xiao.

When Yang Xiao glanced his way, Xiaoo Bufan snorted, his killing intent overflowing. He didn't attack rashly, however. Instead, he bowed slightly to a white-robed elder beside him and said, "Ancestor, that is the boy who killed Chengjun. Please, Ancestor, you must avenge him!"

The white-robed elder raised an eyebrow. "Chengjun's death must be avenged, of course. However, this boy is powerful. Snow Moon Manor will not be a sacrificial pawn for others."

Xiaoo Bufan frowned at this, clearly reluctant to accept it.

But he knew his ancestor was right.

He spoke no more.

But his eyes remained locked on Yang Xiao.

Aside from them, the higher-ups from the Ice Profound Sect and the Sword and Saber Alliance also wore hostile expressions.

Yang Xiao hadn't killed their Junior Sect Leaders, but he had captured their Guardian Beasts. Now that they had the chance, they were naturally eager for payback.

However, just like the others, they didn't make any rash moves, clearly wary of Yang Xiao.

"To think you're all already scheming against one another before the fight has even begun. No one's willing to make the first move. How amusing. But fine, if you won't start, then I'll get the ball rolling."

"Hmm. Who should I start with?"

Yang Xiao burst out laughing.

He wasn't afraid of these people in the first place.

If the Bloodthirsty Sword's second ability hadn't awakened, he might have been worried.

But now... with a single swing of his sword, a whole swath of them would fall.

What the hell did he have to be afraid of?

Besides, these guys were so disorganized. Even with their numbers, he could pick them off one by one.

A playful impulse suddenly stirred within Yang Xiao.

He first glanced at the Six Yang Sect, the weakest of the bunch.

That one look was enough to startle Zhang Baxian—the sa man who had just been smugly questioning him. The entire Six Yang Sect contingent scrambled back a step, nearly tripping over themselves in the process.

The sight made Yang Xiao want to laugh.

He didn't attack the Six Yang Sect, however. Instead, his gaze shifted to the people from Snow Moon Manor.

This ti, the mbers of Snow Moon Manor didn't react as pathetically as the Six Yang Sect.

But they too froze in place when his gaze fell on them, not daring to take another step forward.

They weren't much better, all things considered.

'The two sects that hated the most were both this pathetic.'

'Yang Xiao's estimation of these clowns plumted.'

'They were just a disorganized rabble.'

'And they thought they could besiege and kill ?'
