Hong Yu's eyes looked ready to split from rage, and his whole body trembled. The energy within him spiraled out of control, surging forth like a wild stallion that had thrown its reins. His intimidating Montum cast him in the light of a Demon King, consud by murderous fury.
His bloodshot eyes stared fixedly at what was exposed before him: an inhuman dungeon that resembled the Netherworld Hell.
In each of the dim cages, there were people young and old, male and female. So were elders past sixty; others were wailing infants still in swaddling clothes. But without exception, all of them wore expressions of cold apathy and utter despair for the world.
Their lifeless eyes held a trace of desolation and bewildernt.
When Xingtian destroyed the ceiling and warm sunlight stread in, they didn't welco it. Instead, they curled up and scrambled to hide in the corners.
Their days here had taught them to fear anything bright.
Because every ti they were taken toward the light, they would return with a limb or body part missing, harvested for research.
In one damp cage...
Inside the dark cage, a little girl in ragged clothes was curled up in a corner. She had delicate features, but her face was so pale it was heartbreaking.

The little girl trembled, curled into a ball. Her childish voice was filled with anxiety and confusion, and the sob-choked words carried a heartbreaking innocence and bewildernt: "Little brother, little brother, hurry and drink! Big sister has milk here, hurry up and drink, little brother... Please don't be mad at Big Sister, okay? Please drink, drink Big Sister's milk... Little brother, I'm begging you, please drink, open your mouth and drink..."
She was only seven or eight years old, an age that should have been as radiant as the sun, a ti that should have been spent in carefree innocence.

You want revenge? What kind of revenge are you talking about?"
She suddenly hoisted Yun ngyao up.
The weak girl's face was pale. Choked by Elder Zhu's grip on her neck, she struggled in pain. Yet her dark eyes kept signaling to Hong Yu, a silent reminder: 'Brother, don't worry about ! Run!'

Elder Zhu dragged Yun ngyao toward the Pill Cauldron. "I'd advise you not to move. Otherwise, I can snap this little girl's neck with a flick of my wrist. A dead Extre Yin Ice Spirit can still be refined into a Beauty Pill anyway. A slight loss in potency doesn't matter."

Yun ngyao cried out, her voice hoarse and her face already streaked with tears.
Hong Yu gave a faint smile. "Yaoyao, I told you. No matter the cost, I will never let you get hurt!"
Elder Zhu laughed coldly. "Tsk, tsk, such touching affection between siblings! Too bad that act doesn't work on . Now, die..." Elder Zhu pulled the trigger again. With a SWISH, another arrow shot out.
Seeing the lethally poisoned arrow about to kill Hong Yu, Elder Zhu quietly breathed a sigh of relief.
