The blood-streaked young chieftain gazed into the distance, tightening his grip on the spear in his hand.

The demon race crumbled in defeat, scattering in all directions.
Mu Cang charged alone into the demon realm. Countless wandering spirits fell under his spear. Across the vast demon realm, screams rang out without cease.
He was determined to kill his way from this desolate plain all the way to the Thirty-Six Caves.
And upon that desolate plain.
An exhausted warrior collapsed to the ground. His eyes fixed on the distance, he murmured, “We won…”

Mortals, with their human bodies, had fought the demon race.

On the city tower.
Du A’niang, her wrist wrapped in cloth strips, took a long draught of wine. She gazed into the distance before pouring the entire jar of wine over the city wall.
“Victory…”
“You stubborn axe-wielder…”
Du A’niang murmured. Her thoughts drifted away, and a faint smile touched her face, likely for that “Killing Talent.”
Among Green Mountain, the dozens of surviving cultivators watched the corpses being carried deep into the demon realm.
They looked at the vast expanse of demon race corpses strewn across the ground, astonishnt clear in their eyes.
Soone spoke: “He won’t co back until he’s killed his fill.”
“Song is gone. Mazi is gone. Old Scar is gone. If I were him… I’d be even worse than he is.”
“Sigh…”
The group fell silent for a mont. Then soone asked, “Do we still follow him?”
“Let’s wait here. He’ll co back.”
That day, the demon realm suffered annihilation.
One man, one spear; he slaughtered almost every demon within the realm. By the ti he returned, he was drenched in blood, his body seething with baleful aura.
Seeing this, everyone present froze.
Mu Cang rely glanced at them. Without a word, he turned and walked towards the Divine Domain.
The group stared at his receding figure, montarily dazed.

Chen Changsheng stood up and looked at the ‘Yu Xuan’ beside him.
He said, “Well?”

‘Yu Xuan’ shook his head. “If you truly wish to protect this realm, then you had better never leave this place.”
Chen Changsheng replied, “I probably won’t stay more than a few years.”
‘Yu Xuan’ heard this and said, “Is that so…”
Chen Changsheng continued, “If such thods are required, I would rather forgo the ‘Sutra of Rebirth’ entirely. Given that, why cling to it?”
‘Yu Xuan’ snorted coldly. “She did it for you. But I am different. To , you are nothing.”

‘Yu Xuan’ raised an eyebrow, grasping the Shangqing Sword at his side.
In an instant, a wave of blood fiend energy surged around Chen Changsheng.
‘Yu Xuan’s’ brow lifted. “So it was a bluff earlier.”
Chen Changsheng looked at him. “Shall I strike, or will you surrender yourself?”
‘Yu Xuan’ stared back at Chen Changsheng, his sword held ready but unmoving.
The Taiqing Sword was indeed extraordinary. Success against it wasn’t guaranteed.
“I can promise you three things,” ‘Yu Xuan’ offered.
Chen Changsheng shook his head. “That is not what I seek.”
‘Yu Xuan’ frowned.
Chen Changsheng then spoke. “Two hundred and one strands of Heavenly Dao Power. I want ninety-eight strands!”
‘Yu Xuan”s expression hardened. He flung his sleeve. “You dream!”
Chen Changsheng said calmly, “Do you truly have a choice?”
‘Yu Xuan’ gritted his teeth. Seeing Chen Changsheng grip his sword and step closer, he knew hesitation was no longer an option.
Fierce confrontation… could demand far more than this.
‘Yu Xuan’ lifted his hand. At his will, ninety-six strands of Heavenly Dao power coalesced within his palm.
He raised his hand, sending them forth. Chen Changsheng reached out, a golden light enveloping the near hundred strands of power, suspending them above his own palm.
‘Yu Xuan’ shot Chen Changsheng a cold glare and prepared to leave.
“Not done yet,” Chen Changsheng stopped him.
‘Yu Xuan’ glared back with open hatred. “What more do you want!?”
Chen Changsheng pointed at the sword in the other’s hand.
“That sword.”
‘Yu Xuan’ looked down at the Shangqing Sword gripped in his palm. After a mont’s hesitation, he handed it over.
Chen Changsheng took the sword and examined it briefly. “This will suffice.”
‘Yu Xuan’ gave a final cold snort. His form began to fade, dissolving into the air before Chen Changsheng.

The body of the Great Toad Demon lay still.
Tu Hu sat at the stone table nearby. He gazed far into the distance. In just a few short hours, the fortune of the demon race had plumted, thin as dust.
Yet when he raised his head to look at the sky above, he saw no change at all.
Tu Hu paused, a question forming in his mind.
As he glanced aside, a sword streak flew towards him, landing nearby.
Tu Hu looked at him. “Did you fail?”
Chen Changsheng looked at the toad demon’s corpse. “An unexpected difficulty arose. I’m afraid remaking this Heaven and Earth is beyond now.”
Tu Hu frowned. He paced back and forth. “If we miss this chance, trouble lies ahead.”
“Opportunities will co.”
Chen Changsheng sighed softly. “With the situation in Heaven and Earth stabilizing, we should see several peaceful years ahead. That’s a good thing.”
Tu Hu asked, “How long until the next chance…”
“It won’t be too long.”
Chen Changsheng continued, “I ca to tell you… I must leave this place soon.”
“Leave?” Tu Hu stopped. Panic flickered in his eyes. “If you leave… what becos of ? With my strength alone, isn’t Heaven and Earth playing us both like fools?”
“Set your mind at ease.”
Chen Changsheng said, “My efforts weren’t entirely in vain. From this day onward, this demon realm shall no longer be subject to the will of Heaven and Earth.”
