Josh took advantage of the chaos to slip into her room and dragged Alan out from under the bed.
Unexpectedly, Alan, without her rmaid Heart, had already turned into a dry corpse.
She didn’t have ti to hesitate. She carried the corpse out of the room and pressed the rmaid Heart against her skin.
Alan swiftly restored at a speed visible to the naked eye, becoming lively and fresh, like a deflated balloon suddenly inflating.
Fuer and the octopus both sensed the anomaly and were simultaneously alard.
Alan looked in astonishnt at the person who had awakened her: "You..."
Josh looked at her: "Your mother and your sister are suffering because of your death. They need you."
As soon as he finished speaking, a whip struck over.
Josh quickly held onto Alan and jumped onto the big guy’s shoulder.
Fuer saw the person in Josh’s arms, and his expression changed instantly: "Sister!"
The octopus also suddenly went berserk, waving its tentacles to try to snatch the person from Josh’s arms.
Josh held the rmaid Stone against Alan’s neck, looking at the two raging people, his voice not loud but full of deterrence: "If you don’t stop, I’ll turn her back into a dry corpse."
Fuer was furious: "How dare you!"
The octopus roared but didn’t make any further move.
Apparently, Alan was their soft spot.
Alan looked at them painfully: "Sister, Mother, don’t do anything."
Fuer t Alan’s gaze, and her expression imdiately softened: "Alan, don’t be afraid. With here, I won’t let anyone hurt you."
Alan shook her head: "She won’t hurt . Sister, I was already dead. Don’t grieve for ."
"No! You’re not dead!" Fuer looked at her excitedly: "I’ve already found a way to save you. As long as that rmaid is willing to bless you, you can co back to life!"
"No," Alan’s eyes reddened, shaking her head: "Sister, I don’t want to live, and I don’t want to see you suffer."
Fuer shook her head: "As long as you co back to life, I won’t suffer."
Alan sighed, quietly nestled in Josh’s arms, looked at Fuer not far away, and pursed her lips: "Sister, I don’t want to make you unhappy."
Fuer’s eyes flickered, her face showing a trace of pain: "I won’t be unhappy, as long as you’re alive, I’ll be very happy and content."
"No, you won’t." Alan suddenly looked up at her, her eyes filled with sothing complex: "You won’t, will you?"
Josh sensed that the story arc of "Rescuing Fuer’s Tornted Soul" was progressing continuously and let Alan down.
Alan slowly approached Fuer, standing in front of her, and touched Fuer’s face sadly and happily: "Sister, I’m already dead, and I quite like the state of being dead. Let go."
Fuer’s eyes reddened.
Alan gently hugged Fuer: "Sister, I don’t bla you. Rather than living in such pain, I’d rather die. You freed . You brought redemption."
"Stop... stop..." Fuer hugged her in agony: "I’m sorry, Alan, I’m sorry, I didn’t an to, I didn’t an to!"
Alan smiled a bit, her eyes sparkling: "Sister, death is not scary; it’s free. I never blad you."
Josh then roughly guessed the hidden storyline.
The newspapers and diaries all said that Alan’s family was killed by the octopus’s infiltration.
But evidently, this has sothing to do with Fuer.
Alan might very well have been deliberately killed by Fuer. To numb herself and ease her guilt, she made every effort to beco an extrely bad person, brainwashing herself to feel at ease.
Fuer knelt on the ground in agony, breaking down into tears: "Stop saying it! Don’t say it anymore! I’m sorry, Alan, I shouldn’t have been jealous of how our parents favored you or jealous of your beast taming talent. I only wanted to let the octopus in to humiliate you a bit. I didn’t expect it would kill you, kill Mom and Dad, I’m sorry, truly sorry..."
Alan, heartachingly, wiped her tears: "Sis, don’t be sad. Rather than living in pain, dying is a kind of release. I’m no longer forced to harm cute little animals, no longer have to endure the pain of asthma, no longer have to wear revealing clothes to please n in performances because of Mom and Dad’s words. Thank you, I really an it."
Fuer, in pain, covered her face and shook her head, crying until she lost her voice.
Alan, seeing this, couldn’t help but have her eyes redden as well, squatting down with her: "Sis, will you look at , please?"
Fuer whimpered, with no courage to lift her head.
Alan gently kissed the top of Fuer’s head: "Sis, let go. I want to beco the wind, to see the beauty of the world, to see the waves and tides. I haven’t disappeared, I just attained freedom a little earlier."
Upon hearing Alan’s gentle voice, Fuer couldn’t help but finally lift her head to look at her.
Facing Alan’s clean and bright eyes, she couldn’t hold on any longer. Her inner pain reached its peak, and she suddenly hugged Alan tightly: "I was wrong, Alan, don’t leave , don’t leave !"
Alan patiently waited for Fuer to finish crying before she spoke: "Sis, if you really feel guilty, could you help with one thing?"
"What?" Fuer quickly raised her head.
Alan looked sowhat sadly at the animals: "Can you set those animals free? The ones in the water too. We don’t have the right to deny other animals their freedom."
