"Damn it! Why didn’t you say sothing earlier?" Lulu got up, feeling an overwhelming heartache. "Josh, damn you! You cheated out of my money!"

Josh raised an eyebrow. "Sister, who cheated you out of your money? You just said you wanted to buy it; you never told what for."

Lulu glared at her fiercely. "My points!"

Angry, she stuffed the talisman back to Josh. "I’m not buying it anymore, give back my points!"

Josh stepped back, letting the talisman fall to the ground. "Sorry~ once sold, no returns."

Lulu glared fiercely at her and suddenly burst into tears. "Damn it, I’m going to tell my captain, Josh, you’re heartless!"

Josh stifled a laugh and patted her shoulder. "Sister, think about it: although you don’t need it for this dungeon, who knows when you’ll encounter another Chinese-thed one? With three props, not only you but also your dear captain can benefit."

Lulu seed moved by those words, hesitation flickering across her face.

Josh pressed on. "Besides, in other Chinese-thed dungeons, I auction these props on-site. If you were to bid against others, it wouldn’t be this price."

Lulu suddenly realized. "Oh, right..."

Josh nodded in agreent. "See?"

She looked like she had scored a great deal.

Lulu looked at Josh, a gleam in her eyes. "I didn’t see it before, but you’re actually quite nice."

Josh smiled slightly. "Others don’t understand , but you do, and that’s so touching."

Lulu increasingly felt that Josh was actually easy to get along with; it’s just that others didn’t play with her, making her quirky and leading others to misunderstand her on purpose.

She looked at Josh with a hint of sympathy. "I actually understand you. Your team is all n, and they’re all older than you. Without peer girls to hang out with, you act that way. It’s okay—though our guilds are rivals, I can secretly be friends with you."

Josh didn’t know what she was imagining in her head, finding it increasingly amusing.

She patted Lulu’s shoulder, "No worries. You don’t need to be friends with ; I’m afraid your guildmates might bla you."

Lulu recalled the stern faces from Xue Guo and felt a little intimidated.

Josh turned and left.

The won’s dormitory building had 10 floors; everyone patrolled just one.

Josh drew the fourth floor to patrol.

A curved blood moon hung high, sothing stirring in the darkness.

Suddenly, a scream pierced the silent night.

The dorm supervisor sat by the dormitory entrance, a small lamp illuminated, writing sothing while humming an eerie tune, echoing faintly throughout the dorm.

Lulu was chased by a monster in a ss and ran into a girl rushing down from upstairs.

"You got chased too?" Both spoke in unison.

Lulu nodded. "That monster’s too strong, Spiritual attacks; the spiritual power’s pressure is unbearable!"

"Mine too!"

"What do we do?"

The two looked at each other, and more girls ca running down, the three collided.

Susanna saw Lulu, her eyes lit up. "Lulu! Help !"

Lulu wanted to help but seeing it was Susanna, her face darkened. "Why is it you?"

Susanna sensed her hostility and felt a bit wronged. Quietly, she said, "Let’s not hold grudges against each other. These monsters are so strong. Let’s team up and cooperate. You have strong spiritual power; I’m a healer. If we team up, we can definitely defeat that big monster!"

Lulu thought about it. It made sense; with a healer, the cost could be minimized.

She looked at a nearby girl, who quickly nodded. "I think it’s doable!"

She eagerly anticipated a healer. In team battles, a healer is crucial, allowing the battle line to extend significantly with one present.

Lulu thought for a mont and added, "Alright, let’s go up and find other players. Temporarily band together and get through the night’s patrol ti first!"

The two nodded.

Under the moonlight, several monsters took form. They looked like so humanoid creatures, but without heads, like monsters without backbones, running with bizarre and twisted postures towards where there were footsteps.

The girls huddled together, making noise, which soon attracted monsters from other floors.

The monsters were Spiritual Power Users, their powerful spiritual power exploding, overwhelming the players, leaving them with splitting headaches, suffering greatly.

Lulu led everyone to gather closely, constantly moving to avoid direct encounters with the monsters.

She looked at the group. "Are all 10 of us here? If we have enough people, when we et a monster, we can try to suppress its spiritual power with all of ours combined to push it back!"

"Can that work?"

"Let’s give it a try... We have no other options. If we keep running like this, we’ll exhaust our energy."

"I agree... I’m already getting tired."

"Huh? There’s only 7 of us?"

"Two girls triggered the death buff in the morning, they’re gone."

"Then there should still be 8?"

Lulu scanned the crowd and suddenly asked, "Josh isn’t here?"

The group fell silent imdiately.

Lulu frowned slightly and asked again, "What floor is Josh on? We’re plenty of people, not afraid of danger; should we go find her?"

"Better not. She’s just E-level spiritual power." A girl spoke up timidly from the crowd.

Lulu shot a sharp glance at Susanna hiding in the crowd. Every ti, she’s the one making trouble, never daring to confront directly, hiding and stirring things up.

She directly said, "Susanna, isn’t Josh your sister? You always say you respect her. Why do you keep pushing her out?"

Susanna, caught off guard, was looked at by everyone. She couldn’t help but feel a bit resentful of Lulu but said, "Respect requires context, right? Just because she’s my sister, doesn’t an I should risk everyone’s safety."

Hearing this, others nodded.

Right, Josh is only an E-level Spiritual Power User, a growth type, but still not grown yet.

An E-level user, how much spiritual pressure can she contribute? Makes no difference with or without her.

No need to take risks for her.

Lulu frowned slightly. "Though that’s true, since we’re teaming up, wouldn’t it be bad to leave her behind? If we hide here and leave her alone as an E-level, she can’t handle the monsters."

"Dead is dead, she’s not our teammate anyway," said a girl from the crowd, acting brave.

"Exactly, we’re just temporarily teaming up, no need to blow it out of proportion. Really need to gather everyone?"

"She needs to be worth the risk... So weak."

"We’re hiding here. If a monster cos, we’ll fight back, maybe stand a chance."

"I think so too."
