Josh and Yuze exchanged a glance. In the end, they still didn’t know what illness those people at the hospital were suffering from.
The base leader still wore a look of lingering fear on his face. "That disease will make people’s entire bodies grow cat fur, gradually turning them into monsters."

Josh and Yuze exchanged another glance, seeing the tacit understanding in each other’s eyes.
Since the main task had already been triggered, there was no reason not to do it.
But the base leader’s words turned out to be useless.
He still hadn’t clearly explained why the director was acting so crazily.

"Exactly! Does shouting make you louder? Is this the attitude you have when asking for help, showing us a sour face?" Rob shouted back at the base leader, his voice deeper, more powerful, and more penetrative than his.
Yuze gave a thumbs up, "That’s manly."
Rob’s face darkened, filled with grievance, "Captain, how co you’re scolding while I’m helping you?"
Yuze laughed, "Sorry."
Rob pouted but didn’t hold it against him.
The base leader quickly cald down, reining in his emotions and apologetically looking at them, "I’m sorry, I lost control of my emotions. I’m just anxious."
Josh looked at him calmly, "You must understand, what caused the current situation is the conflict between humans and cats, not the director’s issue. Even if we destroy the experint capsule and kill the director, what then? If the issues between you and the cats aren’t resolved, similar incidents will continue to happen repeatedly."
The base leader remained silent for a long ti before finally slumping into the chair in defeat, "Actually, this city used to be a city of cat lovers..."
It was from the base leader’s mouth that they learned.
This city was previously called the Paradise of Cats, where the slogan of coexisting with cats was everywhere.

After that night, for so unknown reason, all the cats in the city disappeared without a trace.
A virus started spreading among humans, and the Kitty Hospital was established at that ti.
To mitigate the pain caused by the growth of cat fur, one had to go to the Kitty Hospital or avoid sunlight.
Josh pondered, "So back then, the half-human beast cat that led the cats to massacre humans is now the director of the hospital, Hart?"
