As the sky gradually darkened,

the Chen Mansion was brightly lit.

It was not long after the New Year, and the mansion was still filled with the festive atmosphere.

Everyone was well-fed and content.

On stage, the opera troupe was performing, and the audience was listening with rapt attention.

Xu Qin Yi and Ren Qingfeng were among those present, and Xu Yuxiang was there too, personally invited by Xu Qin Yi.

She sat beside Lin Zheyu, her eyes on the stage, but her thoughts were entirely on the person next to her.

"From this angle, Mr. Lin is indeed quite handso!"

Xu Yuxiang blushed slightly, sneaking glances at Lin Zheyu from the corner of her eye.

She suddenly felt a bit regretful—if only she had been more gentle and virtuous back then, Mr. Lin wouldn’t be ignoring her now.

Lin Zheyu caught the subtle fragrance from the woman beside him, but he felt nothing in his heart.

He leaned back leisurely in his chair, listening to the opera on stage, feeling relaxed in both body and mind.

When the act ended, during the intermission, Chen Mu walked up to Lin Zheyu and said, "Mr. Lin, I lost to you last ti. I’ve learned more these past few days; how about we have another match?"

"I’d be delighted!"

Lin Zheyu said with a smile.

His main purpose in coming here was to spar with Chen Mu.

Chen Mu’s style, though not particularly strong, still provided Lin Zheyu with valuable insights.

Having battled fierce beasts recently, Lin Zheyu gained new realizations and intended to spar with Chen Mu to test them out.

"Let’s head to the courtyard; it’s too cramped here to fight properly," Chen Mu said.

The two stood up, leaving the audience, and made their way to the Chen Mansion’s courtyard.

Seeing this, Xu Qin Yi and the others also got up and followed; a fight between these two was quite the spectacle, worth watching.

"If you want to watch, just go. Haven’t you always been straightforward?" Ren Qingying said to Xu Yuxiang with a smile.

"Who wants to watch? I’m not interested; what’s so great about fighting?"

Xu Yuxiang retracted her gaze, looked at the stage, and said insincerely.

"Sure, you’re not interested; I am, that’s all. Accompany your sister to have a look. I wonder who will win this ti between Mr. Lin and Chen Mu," Ren Qingying said with a smile.

"Lin... uh, it’s definitely my cousin who will win!" Xu Yuxiang said.

Under the moonlight, her face was slightly flushed, though it was unclear whether it was from the firelight or sothing else.

Arriving at the courtyard, they lit the oil lamps around, making it brightly illuminated.

"Who do you think will win this ti?" Ren Qingfeng asked with a smile.

Xu Qin Yi said, "It’s definitely Mr. Lin. There’s no doubt about it."

"Not necessarily. After he returned last ti, Chen Mu has been training as if possessed, with significant improvent recently. His terrifying aura is so overwhelming that even standing before him makes feel fearful,"

Chen Xihong said.

Yesterday, he had witnessed Chen Mu sparring at the Martial Arts Arena, and the aura exuded from Chen Mu filled him with an involuntary sense of fear, even as a spectator.

"Is he that strong?" Ren Qingfeng asked in surprise.

"Just keep watching, and you’ll see," said Chen Xihong mysteriously.

They all looked towards the center of the courtyard, where the two had already assud their stances.

"Please teach !" Chen Mu said.

As soon as he finished speaking, an astonishing aura erupted from him, almost twice as strong as before!

"Great!"

Lin Zheyu’s eyes lit up.

This was truly an unexpected pleasure; the stronger the opponent’s aura, the more he could learn from it.

Adopting the Wild Bull Fist stance, an invisible force of punches swirled around him, opposing the pressure from Chen Mu’s aura.

The two engaged in an invisible clash of auras, and a knowing expression appeared on Chen Mu’s face.

He had surmised last ti that Lin Zheyu had also grasped the essence of power, but because he himself wasn’t strong enough, he couldn’t draw it out.

They stood opposite each other, a huge and terrifying sense of danger spreading unchecked.

Ren Qingying and Xu Yuxiang, untrained in martial arts, faced with this intangible force, montarily felt an illusion as if the two opposite them could easily take their lives at any mont.

"Step back!"

Ren Qingfeng and Xu Qin Yi pulled the pallid-faced pair back a step.

The group exchanged incredulous looks.

"Mr. Lin truly is a prodigy!"

"During the last sparring, I suspected he had grasped power too, but I never thought his prowess was on par with Chen Mu’s!" Chen Xihong said, taking a deep breath and feeling bitter.

Xu Qin Yi and the others felt the sa, their expressions complex.

The three were from noble lineages, with superior family backgrounds, and were considered exceptionally talented in their respective families.

Yet facing these two, they couldn’t help but feel inadequate.

"Mr. Xu, how about we join the army for so experience, or team up to hunt bandits?"

"At this rate, we’re in danger of being left far behind." Chen Xihong suggested.

"That’s exactly what I was thinking."

Xu Qin Yi nodded.

"Count in too. These two are insane; at this rate, in a few months, I wouldn’t dare call them brothers anymore." Ren Qingfeng muttered.

"Hah!"

Chen Mu shouted, a bloody and murderous force surging around him.

He looked like a ferocious beast, locked onto its prey, charging at Lin Zheyu.

Lin Zheyu’s muscles tensed, standing still, with the force of his punches swirling around him. As Chen Mu attacked, his fists constantly struck out.

Bang, bang, bang.

The dull sounds of collisions echoed in the courtyard, drawing the attention of many Chen family mbers.

Bewildered by the intense aura generated by the two during their clash, they retreated to a safe distance, not daring to co too close.

The Frenzy Battle Skill had no specific form of attack; the whole body was a weapon, and anything that could kill an enemy was a ans of offense.

Chen Mu’s attacks were wild and fierce; facing Lin Zheyu, he held nothing back, going all out—the aura around him pushed to its peak and steadily rising.
