"Chase!"

"This ti, I don’t believe you can escape my grasp!"

Xing Jinglong sneered coldly.

This ti he brought two Refining Internal Organ Realm experts, both of whom have remarkable achievents in Lightweight Skill.

Besides these two Refining Internal Organ Realm experts, he also requested ten elite soldiers from Xing Penghai.

With such thorough preparation, he couldn’t believe that Lin Zheyu, a re Bone Forging Realm, could escape from his hands once again.

Horse hooves sounded, kicking up clouds of dust.

...

In the secluded mountain forest.

There are many wild mountains and wilderness, as long as you are not near main roads, you rarely encounter bandits.

Lin Zheyu crouched in the grass for almost half an hour, the surroundings were quiet, with occasional wild beasts passing by.

Clip-clop

The sound of galloping hooves approached, from far to near.

Faintly, he could hear the distant sounds of horses neighing and the vibrations of hooves running.

"They are here!"

His expression shifted, Turtle Breath Skill fully activated, reducing his aura to almost imperceptible levels.

His figure leaped up, onto a tree, looking toward the distant group charging in.

Leading them was soone Lin Zheyu had seen several tis, Xing Jinglong.

"It’s indeed you!" Lin Zheyu thought to himself.

Checking the headcount, there were a total of twenty people.

Among them were ten wearing city guard armor, soldiers summoned by Xing Jinglong from Xing Penghai.

Among the rest, there were two Refining Internal Organ Realm experts and seven mbers of the Wuding Gang, along with one Wind-chasing Grey Mink.

"The strength of the newcors isn’t too strong, I can handle it."

Lin Zheyu thought to himself, quietly hiding his figure, holding his breath, lowering his Qi Blood to the minimum.

...

Xing Jinglong’s group followed the Wind-chasing Grey Mink, charging into the dense forest.

Squeak squeak

The Wind-chasing Grey Mink squeaked urgently, rushing out.

"Follow!"

"Mr. Zhao, Qiao Spring, you two keep an eye on him, that kid’s Lightweight Skill is quite adept; don’t let him escape."

Xing Jinglong whispered.

With a wave of his hand, the people behind him quickly moved forward in a split-and-surround formation.

"Rest assured, Mr. Xing, just a small guy in Bone Forging Realm, no matter how good his Lightweight Skill is, he won’t escape our grasp."

The elderly man with a sowhat elongated face, appearing around fifty years old, spoke.

He was nad Zhao Wude, but he was never honorable in his ways.

Boasting exceptional Lightweight Skill, he never engaged in direct combat, specializing in Lightweight Skill, hidden weapons, and poisoning.

"Mr. Xing, this matter could be handled by Mr. Zhao alone, why call along?"

Qiao Spring seed relaxed like on a stroll, following leisurely beside Xing Jinglong.

Though he seed unhurried, his pace always matched Xing Jinglong, sticking close to provide covert protection.

"This kid is slippery, he’s gotten away a few tis."

"This ti, I brought along two seniors to prevent his escape again." Xing Jinglong said.

Zhao Wude and Qiao Spring were both subordinates of his father, following the Xing Family for many years.

The Wind-chasing Grey Mink sped swiftly through the woods.

If it weren’t for the occasional call from the middle-aged man to make it pause, Xing Jinglong’s group would’ve lost track.

"Master, be cautious, this location is secluded; Lin Zheyu coming here is quite peculiar, there might be an ambush!" a veteran behind Xing Jinglong reminded.

Serving as city guards, they often went out to battle bandits, their strength and experience were exceedingly formidable.

"Don’t worry, there’s only one person’s trail here."

"What splash can a Bone Forging Realm kid make?"

Zhao Wude said, squinting his eyes, scrutinizing the forest terrain.

Ever since entering the forest, he had been observing all along.

As soone who road the martial world for decades, his experience was imnsely rich; he quickly noticed traces of only one person walking here.

This place is rarely visited, even if the opponent covered up well, traces would be left behind.

"Master, it’s just ahead."

The Wind-chasing Grey Mink returned to the middle-aged man, squeaking toward the thicket ahead.

"Hold on, master, let check it out first." Zhao Wude said.

Skilled in using hidden weapons and poisoning, he was extrely knowledgeable about these matters; he wanted to go forward and test the waters to see if there were traps or ambushes.

"Soldiers, form a battle formation, be ready." Qiao Spring ordered.

He gripped the short knife in his hand tightly, took a look around, and secretly heightened his awareness.

Though not believing a Bone Forging Realm Martial Artist could stir any storm, as an experienced soldier, he deeply understood the principle that even a lion hunts a rabbit with full effort.

Zhao Wude cautiously walked into the thicket.

Mastering poisons, he knew many types that even Qi Blood Realm Martial Artists could be poisoned by. He didn’t underestimate just because the opponent was a young Bone Forging Realm.

Carefully parting the grass, there lay a piece of clothing stained with the scent of White Zinc Powder on the ground.

Besides the clothing, there was nothing different in the surroundings.

He sniffed the air, but didn’t sense any scent of poison or anesthetic powder.

The opponent’s trail stopped here.

No scent of blood, no signs of battle.

"Sothing’s wrong!"

Zhao Wude’s intuition suddenly alerted him to danger.

Having escaped death nurous tis, his exceptional intuition warned him of peril around here.

Without thinking further, his leg muscles quickly tensed, and he retreated explosively.

But it was too late.

From behind the nearby tree trunk, a figure suddenly darted out; whistling wind surged and a whip-like leg struck towards him.

"Not good!"

Zhao Wude was startled, already having the poison powder ready in hand ready to scatter at the opponent.

But the opponent’s speed was astonishingly fast, shockingly swift.

The poison powder hadn’t even been scattered when the opponent’s whip-like leg slamd onto his head.

The terrifying force rushed in; Zhao Wude’s head buzzed, brain matter turned to mush, vision blurred, and blood sprayed from his nose.
