In the mountain forest, within a certain secluded dense grove.
The sizzling sound of a burning iron branding the flesh was mixed with the constant painful moans of a man.
Jincheng’s eyes were bloodshot, glaring venomously at Lin Zheyu, as if ready to devour him.

He didn’t want to die.

Jincheng said eagerly, hoping to survive from Lin Zheyu’s hands.

He didn’t inject True Essence into it but showed so signs of believing instead, making Jincheng slightly at ease.
He saw a glimr of hope for survival.
