In his ntal world, Mo Jian sat behind a table with a sleek laptop in front of him, his hands swiftly typing on the keyboard.

Since this was his ntal world, he could imagine anything, but to send sothing to the physical realm, he needed to abide by the rules of the physical world.

In the blink of an eye, he had been in the ntal world for over four hours. He tried to continue, but his ntal energy was exhausted, and he was forcefully pulled out.

Lying helplessly on the ground, his breathing was ragged, and his face was pale.

'I would have died if I had continued,' he thought, shivering.

'I must not spend more than two hours in my ntal world,' he reminded himself before drifting off to sleep.

While Mo Jian was busy working in his ntal world, the sect was awaiting the Radiant Sect's response.

As long as they agreed, the sect would make a massive profit.

Even though most of the earnings would go to Mo Jian, the sect would still make a considerable sum from their archrival.

...

Inside a private courtyard, Elder Wen was having a hushed discussion with Elder Gong De.

"Have you found out?" Elder Wen asked in a low voice.

"Yes. About a week ago, the Sect Master revealed the creator of the Spirit Link," Elder Gong De said with a look of disbelief.

Recalling his last encounter with Mo Jian, he finally understood why that so-called trash had acted so arrogantly.

How could anyone compare to him with the massive sales of the Spirit Link?

"Who? Tell quickly," Elder Wen demanded impatiently.

"Ah!" Elder Gong De snapped out of his thoughts and responded quickly. "The Sect Master's only son—Mo Jian."

"Impossible!" Elder Wen's eyes widened in disbelief.

How could such a useless kid create such a magical artifact? She refused to believe it.

"I didn't believe it at first either, but it's the truth. You know the position of our spy—he wouldn't be wrong."

Elder Wen took a mont to accept reality, and a sharp glint appeared in her eyes.

'With such backing, recruiting him will be impossible. Our only option is...'

She turned to Elder Gong De. "I want it done cleanly and quickly. Don't leave any evidence."

"Yes, Supre Elder." Elder Gong De nodded and left to fulfill the order.

'Hmph! That bastard. Who would have expected his death would co so soon?' He grinned evilly.

For the next two days, the Radiant Sect made various excuses to delay their departure from the Dust Valley Sect.

They were biding their ti, yet they still hadn't found the opportunity to eliminate their target.

Both Supre Elder Wen and Elder Gong De were growing restless. They knew they couldn't stay in the Dust Valley Sect any longer, or they would arouse suspicion.

While the Radiant Sect was scheming, Mo Jian was busy in his ntal world, creating software for his envisioned Spirit Smartphone.

"Hah!" Mo Jian exited the Thousand Wealth Chamber, rubbing the back of his neck.

"I'm finally done." A bright smile crept onto his face.

At first, he had difficulty creating the software, but with the ntal world providing a 3D visualization, he finally ca up with a breakthrough.

He had created a frawork—a foundation for all future apps and software.

'Elder Zhen should have finished with the first prototype,' he mused.

Lost in thought, he strolled through the outer court market, failing to notice the sharp gazes directed at him.

Upon reaching a secluded part of the outer court that led to the inner court, his enemies could wait no longer.

They sprang from their hiding spots.

Whoosh!

A deadly sword strike cut through the air, aiming for his neck.

It would be a clean, swift kill.

'Hngh!'

Mo Jian's instincts scread of impending danger, and he raised his head.

On reflex, he leaped to the side.

Bang!

A deep cut appeared in the ground as the sword strike narrowly missed him.

"Huh!"

A gasp escaped from the attackers, but they quickly regained their composure and surrounded Mo Jian.

Mo Jian was stunned.

Why would anyone attack him in the sect?

"Who are you? Why are you attacking ?" he demanded gravely.

The five attackers did not respond. Their sharp gazes locked onto him as they launched another attack.

Whoosh!

Mo Jian reacted swiftly, unleashing his full cultivation—Peak Mortal Grade-7—and throwing a powerful punch.

"Flowing River Fist!"

"Ahhh!!"

One of the attackers was sent flying, letting out a miserable scream.

Mo Jian did not spare him a glance. His focus remained on dodging the next sword strike.

With his full cultivation released, his speed surged to another level, allowing him to evade most of the attacks. However, one of the strikes grazed his shoulder.

He winced in pain.

Avoiding the attacks, he retaliated with a barrage of rapid punches.

With the Flowing River Fist at the Greater Success stage, his punches connected like a flowing river.

"Ahhhh!"

Two of the attackers were sent flying, while the remaining two barely managed to dodge.

Fear gripped their hearts.

Wasn't the Sect Master's son supposed to be the weakest disciple in the sect?

How could he have Mortal Rank-7 cultivation?!

Their minds buzzed with confusion.

The strongest among them was only a Mortal Rank-8 warrior.

Mo Jian didn't care about their thoughts. He launched two powerful punches that tore through the air.

Like a raging river, the attacks gave the last two attackers no room to escape.

"I can't die here!" one of them shouted, frantically pulling out a shield from his spatial pouch.

Bang!

Mo Jian's punch struck the shield, sending the attacker flying.

He coughed up blood, gasping for air.

The second attack was even worse—his ribs fractured as he was hurled through the air. He crashed heavily to the ground and lost consciousness.

The final attacker turned to flee—only to et another punch!

In desperation, he raised his shield once more.

Bang!

The shield shattered under Mo Jian's terrifying punch, and the aftershock sent the attacker flying.

He lay sprawled on the ground, blood seeping from his major orifices. He was barely clinging to life.

Mo Jian stepped forward and tore off the attacker's mask.

His eyes narrowed.

He recognized him. He was an inner court disciple.

'Soone is trying to kill inside the sect...'

'But why?'

After a brief mont of contemplation, he ca to a single conclusion.

The Spirit Link.

Soone didn't want him to continue making the Spirit Link.

With this realization, he took out his Spirit Link and called his mother.
