Mo Jian and his group arrived inside a massive city. The city was unlike any Mo Jian had ever visited.
Towering buildings stretched everywhere.
Tier-3 and Tier-4 beasts could be seen pulling carriages. rchants stood in front of their stores, welcoming custors.
Mo Jian stood by the window, looking down at the ever-bustling city. The road was wide enough for five carriages to travel side by side without any problem.
On the crowded street, he could see many powerful cultivators everywhere. Golden Core Experts were common, and Nascent Soul powerhouses could be seen from ti to ti.
"This will be our starting city," he mused, a shrewd smile creeping across his face before it vanished again.
He turned his head and looked at the group behind him.
Seated around a long wooden rectangular table were five seniors, and opposite them were elders from the Dust Valley Sect.
These were core mbers of their new organization on this new continent. If they were going to dominate this continent, they needed to plan carefully.
Looking at him, everyone in the room stared at him without blinking. Mo Jian could feel their gaze and their expectations.
Slowly, he returned to the main seat.
"Let’s start the eting," he began in a low, crisp voice but filled with authority.
"First, we need to find out everything about the city and its power structure. This includes the clans and forces that dominate the city."
"Apart from that, we must identify all the nearby forces in this area. This is very important for our plan."
"Also, we need a source of money. We can’t depend on accumulated wealth alone. So, we must find a respectable auction house and auction a few artifacts."
Listening to his words, everyone wore serious expressions. They knew their future depended on this. If they had arrived in Mingze City alone, they might have tried to use their strength to prove themselves and find a way to survive.
But that would an putting their lives on the line. And that wasn’t even guaranteed in a land teeming with strong cultivators.

"Senior Huang, you will be in charge of finding a trusted auction house," Mo Jian commanded.
Senior Huang nodded. She might be the ancestor of the ancient Huang clan on their continent, but here she was nobody.
"Senior Qiu, you will be in charge of discovering the city’s power structure."
One after another, Mo Jian divided the tasks among the people in the room. When the eting was over, everyone began their work.
Unknown to the people of Mingze City, a new force had arrived, and the gears of power had already begun to shift.
For three days, Mo Jian and his group learned everything about Mingze City and the surrounding area—from the smallest gang to the most powerful clan. Everything was cataloged in detail, with no letter left unturned.
By the fourth day, Mo Jian already had a comprehensive plan in place.
Mo Jian and Broken Blade walked into the Thunderpool Trade Hall.
The Thunderpool Trade Hall building lood over fifty floors.
People ca in and out of the building, many with powerful auras. Guarding the entrance were two Nascent Soul cultivators.
This alone proved how deep and unfathomable the trade hall was.
Walking inside the hall, a beautiful female attendant walked toward them.
"Welco to our Thunderpool Trade Hall. How can I help you?" she said with a bright smile.
Although she was rely an attendant, she possessed Early Core Refining cultivation.
"I would like to buy so properties," Mo Jian said calmly.
When she heard this, her eyes brightened. Who would have expected their first custor to be a rich young master?
"Please follow . I’ll take you to the manager in charge."
Mo Jian nodded as they followed her.
On the tenth floor, a chubby middle-aged man welcod them.
"Young Master, I hear you want to buy so properties," he asked calmly.
"Yes."
"Good. You’ve co to the right place." He led them into his office.
Inside the office, another attendant ca to serve them tea.
Slling the tea fragrance, Mo Jian could tell this was a Tier-1 Spirit Tea.
Still, neither of them touched their tea as they looked at the chubby manager.
"So, which properties would you like to buy?" the manager asked. "Our Trade Hall has many properties under our control, and for those that might be under our control, we can provide a ans for you to acquire them."
He spoke confidently. He was not bragging. With the fa and power of their Trade Hall, they could almost get anything they wanted.
Of course, both Broken Blade and Mo Jian knew this, and that was why they had decided to co here.
"I need an old, abandoned arena that can contain at least one hundred thousand people at once," Mo Jian said calmly, his eyes locked on the manager’s face.

The chubby manager was stunned, his eyes widening slightly.
He had expected Mo Jian to ask for the common buildings that every other young master asked for.
A private courtyard.
A private estate.
Even a chamber or stall.

For a mont, the chubby manager did not speak, still staring at Mo Jian and Broken Blade.
"Is there sothing wrong?" Mo Jian asked calmly, not intimidated by his piercing gaze.
"Is it possible your chamber does not have such properties?" he added.
"Young Master, you jest. Of course, our chamber has such properties." A bright smile crept onto his face.
From his spatial pouch, he produced a brochure and showed them the available arena.
Looking at the old arena in the brochure, Mo Jian’s expression did not change.
Before coming, they had already done their howork and knew exactly which arena was available for sale.
After pretending to think for a mont, he pointed to a particular arena.
It was the biggest and oldest among the three options.
"I picked this one."
Again, the chubby manager was stunned by Mo Jian’s choice. He realized he could not read this young man.
"Are you sure? This arena has been abandoned for decades."
"Yes. Is there any problem?"
"Hahaha. No problem." He shook his head.
They had been trying to sell the arena for many years, but they found no buyers. Who would have expected an unknown young master to co for it today?
"Because it is too old, Young Master, you can pay 500 Peak-Grade Spirit Stones."
Mo Jian did not betray a flicker of emotion. "As expected, it is still expensive."
When coming on this journey, he had prepared almost all his wealth. Yet, he found himself short.
He only had High-Grade Spirit Stones, and the conversion from high-grade to Peak was 1,000 to 1.
Beside him, Broken Blade could hardly contain his astonishnt. He was an old expert with so wealth, yet he shivered at how expensive things were.
"I don’t have a Peak-Grade Spirit Stone on . Can I make the paynt with High-Grade Spirit Stones?" Mo Jian asked, maintaining his calm expression.
"That’s fine. You can make the paynt with High-Grade Spirit Stones," the chubby manager replied with a bright smile.
"That will be 500,000 High-Grade Spirit Stones."
A minute later, Mo Jian and Broken Blade left the Thunderpool Trade Hall with the deed to the old arena tucked safely in their pocket.
Although Mo Jian had lost a huge chunk of his wealth, he wasn’t worried.
He knew the city would return it to him a hundredfold.
