Now, the evil embryo of that bad friend was parasitic in his Life Soul.
Patriarch Dugu had no idea that Mo Hua’s network with deities was so extensive.
He simply nodded slightly and said:
"As long as you understand, there’s no need for to explain further. In this world, the objects of Divine Thought, evil spirits and specters, are nurous, and above the evil spirits, there are even higher existences, such as deities of heaven and earth, instances of deities falling into evil, ancient Taoist anings, and domains..."
Patriarch Dugu paused, didn’t continue, and after a mont of silence, continued:
"Demon monsters, ghosts, and specters disturb human minds and consu people’s Divine Sense."
"Such evil spirits are ford by Thought, and blood qi and spiritual power cannot harm them in the slightest."
"Cultivating Divine Thought into sword can cut them down."
"But above the evil spirits are heavens and deities. Deities can also degenerate, leaving harm in the human world."
"Humans can slay demons, slay evil, slay ghosts... but can they kill deities?"
Patriarch Dugu looked at Mo Hua.
Mo Hua hesitated and said, "They should... be able to slay them, right?"
Patriarch Dugu shook his head and said, "Humans are humans, and gods are gods. The power of human Divine Thought cannot slay deities."
Mo Hua was stunned.
He pondered for a while and felt sothing was wrong.
If the power of human Divine Thought cannot slay deities, then how did Lord Yellow Mountain get slain?
If that’s really the case, then aren’t the Evil Gods in the world invincible?
No matter how much they harm the human world, cultivators would be unable to resist.

"This is the God Slaying Technique!"
Patriarch Dugu’s tone was sonorous.
Mo Hua silently contemplated.
Deities are blessed, born with the Dao.
Cultivators, however, are innately lacking, but through acquired learning of the Dao, enlightennt, and borrowing the Dao, they are capable of slaying deities.
In a sense, this is truly using the weak to overco the strong, humans slaying gods, humans triumphing over heaven...
