And...

Mo Hua frowned.

"What kind of thing is this evil embryo I’ve dread about?"

Is it dead or not?

If it’s dead, why does it appear in my dreams?

If it’s not dead, does that an the Great Wilderness Evil God has more than one evil embryo?

How many evil embryos does Mr. Tu keep?

The words Yu Er said, the dream she had, resurfaced in his mind. Mo Hua’s gaze slightly condensed as he gradually ford a suspicion.

The things he needed to do next gradually took shape.

Mo Hua composed himself, began to discard distractions, and continued to practice Formation without interruption.

Formation must be practiced. As long as you practice, there will surely be progress.

No matter how many unexpected events or changes occur in life, as long as there is ti, Formation must be practiced.

And ti is limited, it flows relentlessly forward, and once monts are wasted, it is impossible to recover them.

Mo Hua continued practicing Formation, but shortly after he began, his expression beca serious.

Those hollow and pitch-black, blood-threaded, eerie and terrifying eyes appeared in front of him again, silently watching him.

These eyes seem to exist forever.

They will always be in so unknown place, watching Mo Hua eternally.

Mo Hua silently watched the terrifying eyes in his heart and after a mont, murmured softly:

"Dare to look at ..."

"If you keep looking, I’ll ’eat’ you..."

...

A few days later, in Tai Xu City.

Mo Hua arranged to et Master Gu at a tavern.

Since it wasn’t a rest day, Mo Hua still had to attend classes, and ti was limited, so the two only had a simple al and chatted.

Master Gu is a Third Grade Artifact Refiner from the Gu Family, overseeing the refinery shop they opened in Solitary Mountain City.

The refinery shop was originally on the verge of closing down, struggling to survive. It was Mo Hua who painted formations, customized spiritual artifacts, and brought in business, allowing it to revive and prosper.

Master Gu was extrely grateful to Mo Hua, constantly pouring him wine and serving him food, as if Mo Hua was the Golden Core and he was just a Foundation Building Cultivator...

"Master Gu, no need to be so courteous," Mo Hua said.

"Of course, of course," Master Gu said as he served Mo Hua a chunk of pork, laughing, "The young master has done a great favor for our refinery shop; do let know if there’s anything you need in the future."

Master Gu looked earnest.

Mo Hua’s gaze flickered slightly as he asked, "Master Gu, how have things been in Solitary Mountain City?"

"Recently?"

"Yes."

Master Gu thought for a while, "The recent situation in Solitary Mountain City hasn’t changed much compared to before, but our refinery shop’s business has improved, earning more spirit stones, and consequently, the economy around it has also beco better."

"Quite a few Artifact Refiners ca to our refinery shop to make a living. Those who mine or do hard labor also have als to eat thanks to our refinery shop."

"Compared to so prosperous Great Immortal Cities, or even so wealthy dium and small Immortal Cities, it’s obviously not nearly as good. But it’s much better than the previous Solitary Mountain City, with more cultivators coming and going, and the city gradually coming back to life..."

Mo Hua nodded.

In other words... things are improving, and life is getting better little by little.

"Then..." Mo Hua lowered his voice again and asked, "Has anything happened recently in Solitary Mountain City?"

Master Gu also lowered his voice involuntarily and asked, "What kind of incident are you referring to, young master?"

"I an, anything strange, weird, or..." Mo Hua’s gaze darkened slightly, "a major murder case involving many deaths?"

Master Gu’s expression stiffened, "A murder case?"

"Yes," Mo Hua nodded, "Like the Tu family massacre, where many people died."

Master Gu frowned, thought seriously for a mont, and shook his head, "No."

"No?"

"Yes, it’s relatively peaceful recently," Master Gu said, "Moreover, in a place like Solitary Mountain City, most are loose families and households. Since the decline, there are few small families left, and such scenarios like ’the Tu family massacre, where many people died’ are unlikely."

After all, a loose cultivator family only has a few mbers, hardly enough to constitute an ’annihilation.’

Mo Hua nodded, but felt even more puzzled.

No incidents, no major cases...

The Gu family’s refinery shop business is getting better, bringing sustenance to surrounding cultivators, increasing the city’s traffic, and gradually bringing vitality.

All of this clearly points to a positive direction.

But why...

On the day they besieged the Demon Sect, the Court Official nad ’Fan Jin’ he encountered wanted so badly to be transferred away from Solitary Mountain City?

If it was simply wanting a transfer, that wouldn’t be an issue.

It’s understandable to seek better opportunities.

But in his eyes, there was a deep-seated fear...

What on earth is in Solitary Mountain City that makes even a Golden Core Steward of the Taoist Court feel ’fear’?

The more Mo Hua thought about it, the stranger it seed, so he asked, "Master Gu, do you know Fan Jin?"

"Fan Jin?" Master Gu was slightly stunned, "Young master, are you referring to Master Fan from Solitary Mountain City?"

"Yes." Mo Hua nodded.

"You actually know him," Master Gu was quite surprised.

Mo Hua simply said, "By chance, we t once."

Master Gu nodded, didn’t ask further, and after pondering for a bit, said:

"I’ve had drinks with this Master Fan a few tis, so we have so rapport. He’s a decent person, though a bit self-serving, likes to put on airs, and sowhat bullies the weak and fears the strong, but nothing too out of line. In ordinary matters, he follows the rules. Solitary Mountain City is too impoverished, with nothing much to gain, so he’s relatively ’clean’ as a steward..."

"Oh..." Mo Hua seed to be in thought.

Master Gu observed and whispered, "Young master, did this Master Fan commit a cri, or did he offend you?"

Mo Hua smiled, "It’s nothing, he said he’s a steward in Solitary Mountain City and wanted to treat to a al, so I just asked casually."
