The process of Array inscription during Magic Item refinent differs greatly from standard Array setup.
In a normal setup, Spirit Stones, Array Flags, and even geographical advantages might be utilized—essentially, anything that can increase the Array’s power would be employed to the fullest.
Refining Magic Items, however, is entirely different. The body of the Magic Item has limited space for external items.
Thus, Array inscription requires substance akin to "ink."

Even the slightest mistake would result in the whole endeavor collapsing. In severe cases, the Magic Item Embryo could even self-destruct.
If the Embryo’s material quality was excellent, it might retain a portion of its functionality, becoming the so-called "Top Grade Magic Tool."

After spending two full days, Luo Chen finally succeeded in inscribing three First Order Arrays and two Second Order Arrays onto the Minghuang Rock Armor Embryo.
