Chu Zhiyuan glanced at the two n.

Their facial muscles twisted, as if worms were crawling under their skin.

"Prince Consort," Lan Mingxuan’s voice remained calm and composed.

Despite the effort, he maintained his poise.

Chu Zhiyuan first concentrated to sense if there was any danger, then chuckled, "Thank you. I’ll head in then."

"Please, Prince Consort."

"Farewell."

Chu Zhiyuan stepped into the Light Gate.

The Light Gate imdiately shone brightly, then vanished.

"Boom-boom!"

Lan Mingxuan and Wu Xun flew out, spewing blood arrows in the air, and landed limply on the ground.

They collapsed beneath a giant rock, leaning against it, gasping heavily without moving.

White clouds drifted leisurely, and the breeze blew gently.

They stared blankly, without speaking a word.

After a while, Wu Xun’s dry voice sounded, "Will he gain anything?"

"Difficult." Lan Mingxuan’s voice was deep, he spoke slowly, "Without a bloodline, it’s all in vain."

"He has high understanding. After witnessing Ancient Spiritual Objects, it greatly benefits his cultivation."

"It depends on his skill. Having high understanding sotis doesn’t help."

"Alas..." Wu Xun shook his head lightly, "I always felt this approach isn’t appropriate."

"It’s already the most comprehensive thod." Lan Mingxuan sighed, "He’s the Prince Consort, not just the Ninth Prince of Yujing. If we act against him, all the royal relatives will be displeased."

The sorrow at the loss of kin is inevitable.

All royal relatives will inevitably wonder, if it were them, would they also be dealt with by Fengtian Palace this way?

This will make them extrely resentful of Fengtian Palace.

"There’s an aura of mystery enveloping him. Sending him into Spirit Communication Pavilion might truly garner Spiritual Objects."

"That would be his fortune."

"Alas..."

——

Chu Zhiyuan noticed the scene before him changed drastically.

Before him was an endless grassland, vast and boundless.

The landscape was uneven, with highs and lows, fluctuating unpredictably.

But it did not hinder the view towards the distance.

A breeze blew, making the green grass, half as tall as a person, sway. Faintly, silhouettes of animals could be seen.

Looking at the scene before him, he inexplicably felt: wild, desolate.

He frowned.

This was different from what he had imagined.

It was too ordinary; he originally thought Spiritual Objects would be everywhere, with so ancient artifacts piled around.

But now, no artifact was in sight, only grasslands and the animals within.

He curiously observed these animals, different from any he had seen.

Like cows, sheep, dogs, pigs, mice, chickens, and so like cranes.

These animals hid within the green grass, and if not for the wind, would not have been noticed.

Super Sense was already activated, extending over twenty miles, observing the surroundings clearly.

Beyond ten miles, the grassland ended, replaced by hills.

These hills weren’t high, making them invisible to the naked eye beyond ten miles.

Atop one of the distant hills, a longsword was embedded in a giant rock.

Chu Zhiyuan’s spirit instantly surged.

He sensed this longsword was unusual.

This sword, at first glance, seed rough, resembling a sword mold, not a real sword.

It lacked a hilt, only a bare blade, and the blade was weathered, full of age and desolation, appearing ready to crumble with a gust.

Yet, it stood firmly within the rock, enduring countless storms over years uncounted.

This rock, ten ters high, ten ters long, five ters wide, resembled a boat.

Through Super Sense, Chu Zhiyuan felt it wasn’t a rock, but iron.

Such a rough sword, able to cut through iron like mud, was certainly no ordinary weapon.

He subtly commanded his Super Sense to continue monitoring, seeking another strange object.

Unfortunately, besides this sword, there was none other, the surrounding animals, despite their odd appearance, seed at ease, so grazing, so resting, so playing, all at peace.

This grassland, unlike others he had passed, lacked a biological chain, no creatures attacked by predators, becoming prey.

He couldn’t help but like this grassland, wanting to lie down on the grass for a good sleep, a good rest.

But as soon as the thought arose, a sense of danger surged.

He frowned.

Such a peaceful grassland held danger, but from where?

Could it be these carefree animals?

Seed unlikely.

The danger ca from underground?

Super Sense began probing underground, discovering nests with so rodent activity.

Yet, it posed no sense of threat.

Where did this danger emanate from?

He examined thoroughly, eventually realizing the source of danger was indeed the green grass.

These lush, soft greens, inspiring joy and vitality.

Chu Zhiyuan didn’t delay further, his figure flashed, suddenly soaring into the air, gliding away.

Moon Silkworm Frost Robe aided his swift passage, maintaining a safe distance of several ters from the grass.

But after flying a hundred ters, he suddenly slowed and descended.

He felt danger from the sky.

He frowned.

Judging by Lan Mingxuan and Wu Xun’s deanor, Spirit Communication Pavilion shouldn’t be so hazardous.

Why inside it were so many dangers, peril everywhere, surpassing the outside?

Was it that Spirit Communication Pavilion had changed, or they didn’t sense these dangers?

"Woo..."

A deep growl resounded as a beast resembling a tiger leaped towards him, gliding through the air.

Chu Zhiyuan frowned, unleashing a Heavenly Dragon Divine Palm.

"Bang!"

The beast, ten ters long, as thick as a person’s embrace, instantly flew several ters away, crashing into the grass, flattening a patch, then remained still.

Chu Zhiyuan continued on his course, not pausing to see if the beast had died.

While gliding, beast after beast lunged at him, swatted away by his Heavenly Dragon Divine Palm.

With Moon Silkworm Frost Robe’s speed increasing, eventually these beasts only struck his shadow as they pounced.

He had left a trail of afterimages in the air.

Yet, there was no sound of flowing robes or a whistle from rapid velocity.

He glided silently, leaving a trail of shadows, attacked by beasts leaping from the grass.

Where he passed, the grassland turned turbulent.

Beasts lunged into the air, striking only shadows, then began attacking other animals upon landing.

A massacre ensued.

The green grass below where he passed turned tumultuous and fierce.

Super Sense captured these vividly, but he showed no intention of stopping.

In one breath, he reached the summit of a mountain.

As he was about to step onto the mountain, he suddenly felt resistance.

Unexplainable resistance from three sides, with one direction free of resistance.

Chu Zhiyuan understood it was attempting to force him away.

This mountain was indeed odd.

Upon approaching, he felt a strange summoning, emanating from the sword.

As if from ancient tis, waiting here, awaiting his appearance.

This strange feeling made him cautious; he didn’t rush to find a way to ascend the mountain, but instead observed the sword, observed the mountain.

He patiently stood at the foot of the hill, continuously observing, until finally discovering the source of the mountain’s anomaly.

The source was the giant rock, the rock bearing the sword.
