anwhile, outside Ghost Gate Pass, Elder Yan and the others also heard the sinister laugh of Old Yaksha and a sudden chill at the back of their heads.
Death.
In that instant.

Sitting on the ground, staring at the now invisible Ghost Gate.
He wanted to rush in but suddenly recalled what Sui Yi had just said.
It seed like only humans....
Was Sui Yi muttering to herself, or was there a deeper aning?
It couldn’t be, for Sui Yi wasn’t the kind to talk to herself; she always kept everything to herself, and what she did say must have been for others to hear.
Only humans....
Previously Old Yaksha said Sui Yi wasn’t human.
And the mystery of the Three Lives Pond’s water....
Seo Ziling’s eyes suddenly brightened!
Sui Yi would surely be alright, as she had her ways to escape!
Seo Ziling instantly revived from his despair.
He stood up, his expression extrely cold as he looked at the bloodied Yakshas still gnawing on human flesh.
Old Yaksha looked at him with a smiling face.
"Not worried about her?"
Seo Ziling said nothing, rely slowly clenched his fists.
"You all knew she would co long ago."
"Naturally.... Perhaps Ghost Gate Pass has awaited her for many years."
"Who is the relief inside?"
"Our god."
Old Yaksha seed in a good mood at this mont, answering all questions, but....
"But I assu you’ve also realized she’s no ordinary being.... The her in the Three Lives Pond isn’t truly her."
