With ease, the woman was flung aside, and even took a small chunk of flesh from Sui Yi’s shoulder with her.
Thud! She hit the White Unicorn Coffin, blood spilled from the corner of her mouth, yet she refused to spit it out, swallowing the piece of Sui Yi’s flesh whole.

Sui Yi, clutching his shoulder, had felt a rise of anger and a will to kill, but when he locked gazes with her, for so reason, his heart turned cold with a surge of chaotic thoughts.

"Who are you?" Sui Yi asked again, the second ti eting only mockery from her expression.

When Sui Yi changed his question, the woman frowned, sizing him up and down. She was gasping for air, her body starting to tremble, and only then did Sui Yi notice a large patch of fresh blood seeping through her back, staining the half of the White Unicorn Stone crimson. The blood quickly soaked in, resembling a ghastly blood claw, cracking open the coffin.
Crack!
The coffin indeed shattered!
The woman also closed her eyes and slumped over... Sui Yi stepped forward to catch her, and as the coffin fractured, there ca a clatter. Along with the scattering of stone pieces on the ground was a snake-skin pouch, which did not co from inside the coffin, but underneath its base...
"Hidden by Mao Sanqing? Indeed..." Sui Yi silently wondered why the pouch wasn’t inside the coffin but outside... A burial offering? Yet, it seed all wrong, a classy White Unicorn Coffin alongside an unremarkable snake-skin pouch...
Heavy and jingling.
Sui Yi didn’t ponder further and simply opened the pouch to see its contents.
Jewelry, jade bracelets, hairpins...
There were at least a dozen articles.
Sui Yi’s eyes narrowed as he drew out another small piece of parchnt.
"The items herein were treasures Mao Sanqing acquired from various ancient tombs over the years, hidden here out of fear that keeping them at ho would attract enemies and lead to exposure. Whoever finds these treasures must be soone with the ability to safely extract the White Unicorn Coffin. I hope that, for the sake of these treasures, you will be kind and look after my family’s descendants..."

Any capable person would, one way or another, obtain both the Ice Coffin and the pouch. If they ca across the sheepskin scroll and had the inclination, they would look after Old Lady Mao San and her descendants; if they had no such feelings, then it was destiny.

Sui Yi observed her for a mont, noting her blood-stained lips, and let out a wry smile. She usually showed no rcy to her enemies, but this woman held too many secrets. There was sothing bizarre that she seed to share with Sui Yi, and if she were to kill her just like that, her own curiosity would probably suffocate her.
"Even if you are the snake saved by the farr, I’m not necessarily that farr... I hope you won’t make into the Hunter who slays snakes..." Sui Yi pulled up the tall, slender woman and carried her on his back.
Last night, when she had co down, it was over a cliff and precipice. How to climb back up?
Finding the way in the dead of night was incredibly challenging.

Now, as Sui Yi walked out, her stride hesitated, and she was greeted by a sunken valley and a dense bamboo sea, lush green as far as the eye could see, waving with the wind like a soft field of erald feathers. The blue sky and white clouds carried the scent of bamboo, instantly refreshing Sui Yi, who had felt a slight weariness the night before.
Ignoring the fox carcass frozen in rigor, she acknowledged that even though Mao Bamboo Mountain held many secrets and complications, it remained a place of scenic beauty.
Sui Yi turned to look at the place that housed the White Unicorn Stone.
The secret of that pool likely had to do with the White Unicorn Stone. If during the rainy seasons, the cavern was imrsed, soaking the stone and drawing out the Silver Unicorn Silk within, it would instill Spiritual Energy into the water, eventually flowing out into the pond outside. Consud by the fox over ti, the water must have caused it to mutate...
"There is much in this world that is unsurpassed in its strangeness," Sui Yi glanced at the woman on her back, this woman was yet another secret.
If it weren’t for her having absorbed the most mysterious Silver Unicorn Silk from the White Unicorn Stone, she would have likely never escaped the coffin.
Jin, Sui Yi hadn’t expected to see such a secret technique here, especially used on a woman.
As Sui Yi pondered the origins of this woman, they had already moved far from the base of the cliff. Suddenly, she heard a noise.
