At the mountaintop, Yi stood on the platform where the cold wind howled, holding the Yellow Springs Sword, and saw the desolate peak under the cold moon.

A very ordinary peak.

But there was an entrance to a cave, long concealed by green vines.

The cave entrance? Is that person not here?

However, there were sounds coming from within the cave.

Soone was already inside.

Yi frowned and walked toward the cave entrance.

anwhile, on the mountainside, Ye Zixu paused for a mont, then continued onward, while at the place he had been.

A shadow appeared, very tall and large, standing there observing the surroundings, and suddenly let out a low chuckle.

"The scent stops here, this kid actually deliberately concealed it... Heh~"

He stayed quietly for a mont, then suddenly moved his foot, flashing to a piece of the mountain wall, his finger swiping across it, sharp as a blade. As his finger moved, a chaotic yet seemingly regular stone fissure appeared, finally forming into a diagram, a topographic map of the mountain, with the scent strongest at the central point.

He inserted his finger into this point and pulled on the wristband.

Clack!

The cave entrance in the mountain wall opened.

"Sure enough, there’s her scent."

"The legend of Florin Caesar loving the Chinese Style Spell Matrix Path, indeed... A fusion of Eastern and Western Treasure Mountain... truly unlikable, having to rely on these Chinese people’s hands to unravel this secret..."

He entered the cave, turned around, and with a grab of his hand, the powder and stones on the ground were absorbed, perfectly fitting back into their original place under the control of airflow.

Perfect concealnt.

As these people made their way along different mountain paths to the summit, Sui Yi was walking alone in this dark world of the mountainside cave, the sound underfoot was consistently clack clack, uneven. Sui Yi found it to be sowhat strange, because the stone material of this mountain was relatively smooth and loose, not the type belonging to hard stone geology, plus there was an extrely dense airflow in the air, very heavy, affecting the night vision, and Sui Yi had to breathe, feeling this gas seed to be intense, a burnt sll, whether it was toxic was another matter, making her feel as though she was in a sea of fire anyway.

Fire burning through the cloud mist.

Pa! With a snap of her left hand fingers, a symbol appeared at her fingertip, burning with a golden fla.

The fla was dazzling.

Illuminating the path.

Yet, the scene illuminated by this light took the breath out of Sui Yi.

These gases were interwoven in black and white, and upon the incursion of the light, revealed the naked appearance of the mountain wall and ground.

Corpses, layer upon layer of bodies, completely fused together.

Why fused?

Because the corpse oil had solidified.

This was a massive Giant’s View. (Giant’s View, a state of corpses)

And the path under Sui Yi’s feet was a road of the Giant’s View.

This cave was also a cave of the Giant’s View.

As far as the eye could see, even just on the surface there were at least a hundred corpses, halfway between cooked and fud, their oil gluing them together.

Becoming part of this mountain.

Perhaps... was it the entire mountain?

Sui Yi dared not think too deeply, only pursed her lips, closed her mouth and nose, and walked in.

The traces on this road were very old, seemingly never traversed, or perhaps not for a very long ti. As Sui Yi walked through, due to the burning fla on her finger, even a slight rise in temperature caused the temperature on this road to change, and Sui Yi felt the ground underfoot beco sowhat slippery.

The oil began to lt.

Truly troubling.

Squish, squish, the pace quickened, and Sui Yi soon saw a cave entrance up ahead, with light!

Exiting the cave.

Only then did Sui Yi realize she was standing on a platform embedded in the mountain rock, and ahead of her...

Was a huge mountain belly, hollow inside, with walls built up of piled bones.

At the center was a cross.

A very large cross, Sui Yi suddenly thought of that enormous cross in the Passion of Jesus.

Identical.

Only here there were many chains as thick as her small arm, unknown in material, emitting a chilling light.

They wrapped around a coffin.

Of course, it wasn’t the Chinese kind of coffin, but a Western one.

Not too large, not too small, firmly bound to the cross.

As if cursed, below it was charred flas.

Long extinguished, yet the surrounding air was extrely hot, the oily and charred sll ever-present, now even more so.

Sui Yi standing on the platform, looking at this cross, suddenly rembered that the marks of excavation and the thod of sealing the cave were very Chinese, with runes inscribed in a Chinese style, and the brush technique was pure cursive script.
