-Liam’s POV
I stood there like an idiot with my hard-on, staring at her.
She was not even looking at but sohow was able to tell I was there.
She can’t even sll so how?
I tugged my shirt out of my pants and stretched it so that it would hide the tent in my pants before approaching her " You said the pack is not safe anymore for anyone to roam around. That’s why I followed you to make sure you and Alex are safe."
I fidget with my hands while looking at the ground.
She grabbed my forearm and dragged with her.
I just followed her.
Whilst we were walking, she suddenly spoke " You are still not trained, Snow. Don’t leave the packhouse again without my permission."
I humd, agreeing.
I’m not really agreeing but I can not afford to piss her off.
Her hold around my forearm loosened when we finally reached the packhouse.
" Go watch how they practice." She let go of my hand as I nodded and jogged to the training area where I found the warriors of the pack fighting each other.
Wow, they look so strong and really good at fighting.
There are at least twenty pairs of wolves fighting and the rest of the pairs are fighting in their human forms.
"Hey, Liam right?" My neck snapped to the source of the sound where I found a 6’1 feet tall man, shirtless with only shorts on.
He was grinning widely while rushing toward , I nodded only for his smile to widen even more as he hung his arm around my shoulder "You are famous around here after beating Scott’s ass."
He chuckled, showing his straight white teeth, he looked very excited " An inexperienced cook beating a well-trained noble alpha in his human form. It’s all over the pack. Ogas are going crazy over you."
I faked a smile, pretending like I liked the attention that I was getting.
I only wanted one person’s attention and that person was my mate.
"I’m Philip by the way. The trainer. I trained almost all of our warriors and I will be teaching you too." He introduced himself to before checking up and chuckling " You already got the height, the body, and the heart. You only need techniques."
I nodded as we kept watching the other werewolves fighting.
"So I’m going to ask. You are just an alpha? Like a regular one?" I’m not scared of him finding out about it because I only hid it because I didn’t want Anastasia to know.
But now I don’t want him to find out I’m oga because he might reject teaching how to fight.
Alphas suck I know.
"Yeah, why?" I replied and inquired confidently.
He nodded, and I still could see the doubt in his eyes "It’s because the only werewolves who could win against an alpha in his wolf form while they are still human are all true bloods."

"Who are they?" I have to change the topic.
"Well, obviously the head alpha... and ." He answered with a wide grin on his face while I narrowed my eyes at him " You sll like a regular alpha though."
He humd and let his pheromones out for so seconds.

What if Anastasia chooses him because he is better?

I should really work on my overthinking and insecurities because they keep making hate people who are less than a kiloter away from Anastasia.
"Well, I can not catch your scent so we would not know." He winked at and patted my shoulder before shifting to his wolf form and joining the training.
I rolled my eyes and kept standing there to watch until I got bored after an hour or so which is why I decided to go out.
I know Anastasia said not to do so but it will be quick.
I just need to buy a phone because I don’t have one.
I bought one from the closest store and rushed back to my room.
I turned it on and started searching for a house that I wanted to buy for my mother and myself.
I found one nearby and decided to look at it after the attacks were over.
"Scott woke up." My ears perked up when Caleb’s whisper entered my ears.
I sat up, looking at Caleb who was standing by the door of my room.
I instantly left my phone on the bed and hurried out of my room.
"My baby. Are you okay?" While walking closer to the room where Scott was staying, I could hear his mother Emilia sobbing and talking with so much worry in her tone.
I stood by the door, crossing my arms over my chest as I rested on the doorfra sideways.
Scott is lying down on his stomach, there is a huge thick bandage wrapped around his lower back.
He was still naked since the only thing that was covering his body was the bandage and the blanket.
I saw Elia, Scott’s mother, rushing to her son as she hugged him tightly, which by the way looked so awkward because he was not facing her.
He seed genuinely tired.
I could see the wounds that I left on his body still healing.
I did not feel sorry for him because simply I didn’t start the fight.
The mother alpha was there to support her friend and Anastasia’s father also was there, standing by Elizabeth’s side as usual.
By looking at him, I rembered the fact that he actually had the audacity to cheat on his mate while she was pregnant.
That is so fucked up on so many levels.
Werewolves are not like humans.
Cheating is not sothing common in our community, especially between fated mates.
The second we werewolves find our fated mates, our sights get blinded and we beco so loyal to them for the rest of our lives.
That’s why this is too new for and this is why Elisabeth forgave him.
"Where is Anastasia?" That was the first thing Scott said.
He has not given up?
Wow, I’m actually impressed.
Elisabeth approached the bed, patting his shoulder "She is busy." She paused to watch how his facial features changed into irritated ones before speaking again "Look, Scott. What happened there will not change anything. I promise if you keep trying with Ana, her heart will soften for you at so point."
Oh my God, I wanted to laugh so loud as I watched and listened to what the mother alpha promised that guy.
She should not promise him sothing that will never ever happen.
"Snow." I heard a mumble coming from behind .
That re mumble sent a strange shiver down my spine.
What the fuck.
I an I know every ti Anastasia stands even close to , I feel things moving in my abdon and nervous and all.
But this ti that was not usual.
I gulped, as I massaged my palm out of nervousness before slowly turning around to look at Anastasia.
Everything stopped around , I felt the ground under my feet moving, and the walls started to move in a strange way.
I gulped again and blinked multiple tis while looking at Anastasia who was talking but I could not hear anything.
My eyes only focus on her red lips moving in slow motion before averting my gaze to her neck where her scent gland is positioned.
I could sohow see her pheromones coming out of there as if they were red smoke and moving directly to my nose, making my mind foggy.
I felt dizzy, I could not hear anything, and my body felt so hot out of a sudden.
I felt like my legs turned into useless jelly that could not support my body.
I flinched when I suddenly snapped out of my daze, thanks to Anastasia who grabbed my forearm out of the blue and said my na out loud " Snow!!"
I blinked multiple tis, moving my gaze back to her beautiful eyes that showed how confused she was.
"Huh ah?" I humd like an idiot unable to form a correct English sentence to explain to her what was happening
How the hell am I supposed to explain to her when I literally have no clue what actually is going on?
She tilted her head and moved her palm further up my arm, sending shivers through my body and making the hairs of my body stand up.
" You are too hot. Did they get infected?" She mumbled, talking to herself, trying to understand what was going on with .
Her brows suddenly furrowed as she said my na again to catch my attention and once again I only replied with a hum " What’s wrong with your eyes?"
I turned to look at the mirror only to gasp when I noticed how my eyes were glowing in different shades of purple, blue, and red.
"I-I don’t know... I will... Leave" I uttered like a fool unable to control my eyes before sprinting to my room.
I closed the door and rested my back on it, sighing in relief "My heat, fuck."
