"I will make you feel sothing," Liam’s voice resonated with a chilling determination.
Confusion clouded Anastasia’s features as she tried to comprehend his words.
And then, in a swift and fluid motion, he began to strip away the layers of his human form.
As his clothes fell to the ground, Liam’s body underwent a profound transformation.
The air crackled with otherworldly energy as he shifted into his majestic gray wolf form.
It was the very sa wolf that had once saved Anastasia during the vicious attack they had both endured, the wolf that had bound their fates together.
Anastasia’s shock was noticeable, her eyes widening as she witnessed the truth unfold before her.
The pieces of the puzzle finally fell into place, and the realization of their fated bond washed over her like a tsunami.
The magnitude of the mont left her breathless, her heart caught between the shattered remnants of their bond, and the undeniable connection that fate had bestowed upon them.
Liam’s transformation into his wolf form was a sight to behold.
His body contorted and shifted, bones cracking and reforming as he grew larger and taller.
In a matter of monts, he stood before Anastasia as a magnificent gray wolf, standing at an impressive fifteen feet in height.
Anastasia let out a gasp, her eyes fixed on the majestic creature before her.
Her inner wolf stirred, a primal instinct screaming in her mind that this gray wolf was her mate—the sa wolf who had saved her life at the borders.
It was the first ti she had experienced his intoxicating pheromones, and they captivated her senses, their scent a perfect symphony to her olfactory receptors.
This was her fated mate, and it was no wonder his pheromones slled like the most exquisite fragrance to her.
"Mate.Mate." The shock of the mont overwheld Anastasia.
She was left speechless, her mind reeling with the realization of what had just transpired.
Liam stood in his wolf form for a while, allowing Anastasia to absorb her mistake.
Then, with a smirk on his face, he began to shift back into his human form.
The transformation was a reverse spectacle of his earlier change, his body morphing and reshaping until he stood before her, completely naked except for a mischievous grin.
"Do you feel sothing now?" Liam taunted, slipping on his pants as he spoke.
His words dripped with a mixture of amusent and accusation.
"Sothing beyond your selfishness and self-centeredness? Perhaps a twinge of regret and guilt?"
As he finished dressing, Liam made no attempt to mask his pheromones this ti.
They perated the air around him, a reflection of his newfound freedom from suppression.
He approached Anastasia, who remained frozen in shock and spoke with a mixture of brokenness and emotional detachnt, "Your fated mate is not true blood. Your fated mate is an abnormal alpha who is also an oga."
Anastasia remained silent, still unable to process the overwhelming flood of information.
Liam’s smirk vanished, replaced by a pained expression. His voice quivered with hurt and betrayal as he continued, "You killed our child for no reason. If only you had told , I would have explained and let you know about our bond. Even if you didn’t want the child, despite our fated bond, I would have left without looking back. Not every oga you encounter is like your best friend. And as for your father’s cheating, that is his fault alone, not the oga’s. He made the choice to cheat on his pregnant wife and mate. That oga didn’t force him into it. Your father is simply an asshole, and that oga has no part in it."
Liam gripped Anastasia’s shoulders firmly, his touch rough. "You shattered my heart into a million pieces. I was so happy yesterday, believing that everything I had endured was worth it because of you and the love I have for you, and the prospect of our child. But you proved wrong. I don’t deserve happiness. Having all to myself with out baby was not realistic after all." He paused, his hands gently cupping her face. "Just as you broke my heart, I will break yours, Anastasia."
Anastasia stared at him in disbelief, her mind struggling to comprehend the barrage of emotional turmoil.
Liam’s expression turned emotionless as he coldly uttered the words while staring deeply into her eyes, "I, Liam Snow, reject you, Anastasia Rain, as my mate."
A heavy silence filled the room as they locked eyes, one filled with emptiness and detachnt, the other filled with shock and disbelief.
In the ensuing monts, pain engulfed Anastasia’s body, and she let out a piercing loud scream that seed to shake the very foundation beneath them.
Wracked with agony, she clutched her chest, unable to remain standing, collapsing onto the floor, groaning and weeping from the searing pain of mate rejection—one of the most excruciating tornt a werewolf could endure.
Mate rejection was an eternal burden, haunting the rejected werewolves for the rest of their life, even if they were to find another mate.
Weaker ranks, such as ogas, often surrendered to the unbearable sorrow and might actually lose their life.
Liam stood there, unmoved by her suffering, his face devoid of empathy. "As much as I once loved you, I now hate you more than anything in my life. And as much as I despised seeing you in the slightest discomfort," he chuckled bitterly, "I am enjoying this mont. I can’t hurt you physically but will do. Emotional pain never ends."
He remained rooted in place, watching as Anastasia struggled to speak, to rise, her heart shattered and her pain consuming her.
Before leaving the office and the entire packhouse behind, he delivered his parting words, filled with a venomous mix of resentnt and sorrow. "Goodbye, Anastasia. May the pain of rejection haunt you forever, strengthening with each passing day, just as the pain you caused when you ended our child’s life."
With those final words, he departed, leaving Anastasia writhing in agony on the office floor.
Monts later, Calen burst into the room, his voice filled with urgency. "Oh my God, Alpha! Philip, Get the doctors!" He quickly issued orders, rushing to Anastasia’s side as she lay unconscious on the floor.

anwhile, Liam found himself sitting alone on a park bench he had discovered on his way.
Tears stread down his face, though no audible sobs escaped his lips.
Just because he was the one who had done the rejecting didn’t an he was immune to the pain.
His anguish ran deep, but it paled in comparison to the loss of his child—a loss that had been inflicted upon him in a grueso manner.
His life felt suffocatingly unbearable. Why did he have to suffer through all of this alone?
Suddenly, a hand rested on Liam’s shoulder, causing him to hastily wipe away his tears.
He turned his gaze to the person behind the hand and found a tall man, dressed casually, who looked like he had stumbled upon the treasure he had been searching for all his life.
The man spoke, his voice filled with a mix of tension and certainty. "You’re Liam Snow, right? I’ve been looking for you."
________
The night was enveloped in darkness as Anastasia lay unconscious on her bed, surrounded by a worried gathering of doctors and her anxious parents.
The room was filled with unanswered questions, as no one had any idea what had caused Anastasia to scream in agony and pain earlier.
Only she and Liam knew the truth.
Ti dragged on, and even when Anastasia finally regained consciousness, she remained silent, her blank stare fixed on nothingness, ignoring the concerned questionings of her parents.
Despite her inner turmoil, she diligently carried out her responsibilities, even going to the old pack house to retrieve Alexander now that the threats and attacks had seemingly stopped.
The identity and motives of their attackers remained a mystery, adding to the unresolved tension.
Scott’s punishnt had co to an end, but Anastasia made a decision to banish him from the pack’s territory, a consequence he deserved for attempting to poison her.
Although her initial instinct was to end his life, she heeded her mother’s pleas and opted for permanent banishnt instead.
Scott, now a rogue, left with his parents, and forced to live in the human world.
As for Liam, he had vanished without a trace, along with his mother.
It had been nearly six months since he rejected Anastasia, which is why she sent Caleb on a search mission.
However, Liam remained gone, leaving no trace within the pack territory. It was as if he had never been there at all.
The pain of rejection gnawed at Anastasia day after day, continuing from the mont she woke until she gave in to sleep.
Yet, she chose to bear this burden alone, confessing to no one about the depths of her anguish.
The question lingered in the air like a heavy fog: Where had Liam gone?
