Still wearing an apron, Katsuragi Shouko brought the dishes to the table and quickly said, "Hikari-kun, you're here! Perfect timing, dinner's just ready. Co eat with us!"
"Alright."
Hikari followed the two sisters to the dining table.
On his left sat Katsuragi Sayaka, on his right was Katsuragi Shouko, while Katsuragi Yuki deliberately chose the seat directly across from him.
"Hikari-kun, try this tempura! My mom's fried tempura is super tasty!", Katsuragi Sayaka couldn't resist picking up so food for him after he'd only eaten a few bites.
"Mm, it's really good," Hikari took a bite. It was perfectly crisp, and the flavor was excellent.
"This kombu soup's nice too, Hikari-kun. Have a sip," Katsuragi Shouko handed him a small bowl of soup.
"Okay."
"Hikari-kun, you should try this one too~", Katsuragi Yuki quickly followed suit, adding food to his bowl as well.

"What? But I used boneless fish today," said Katsuragi Shouko, frowning and poking through the dish with her chopsticks, "How'd you manage to find a fishbone?"
"Uh… ah!", Katsuragi Yuki was about to co up with another excuse when the rising waves of sensation hit her again, stronger than before, and she couldn't help crying out a second ti.
"Yuki? Are you sick?", Katsuragi Sayaka asked, worried, noticing her sister's reddening face.
"N-no, I'm fine!", Katsuragi Yuki covered her mouth, shaking her head frantically, "It's nothing! I just… accidentally… bit my tongue or sothing! I-I'll go to the washroom!"
With that, Katsuragi Yuki, having completely lost control, hurriedly stood up from her chair and stumbled toward the restroom.
Watching her staggering figure disappear down the hall, Katsuragi Shouko sighed helplessly and turned to apologize to Hikari, "Hikari-kun, I'm really sorry. Yuki's so poorly behaved. Getting up to use the bathroom right in the middle of a al with a guest, it's my fault for not teaching her properly. I'm so sorry."
Hikari smiled, drawing his foot back as he nodded, "It's fine. I might have been at fault too."
"Eh?", Katsuragi Shouko blinked in confusion, then blushed slightly, perhaps misunderstanding what he ant.

The mory made her blush and her heartbeat race wildly.
Her trembling hands shook as she continued wiping.
Seeing her state, Hikari caught her hand and took the tissue himself, "Mrs. Shouko, it's fine. The tea's not even hot. I can handle it myself."
"Ah-ah! O-okay! Right…", Flustered and red-faced from her own thoughts, Katsuragi Shouko quickly withdrew her hand.
When she quietly looked up again at that gentle, composed, handso, and reliable young man before her, her heart pounded uncontrollably.
She was no longer engaged, a widow now, single again.
Facing such an almost perfect young man, she couldn't help but feel a deep stirring inside.
