Pakunoda and Franklin both nodded slightly.

Morin had already proven his abilities. From their conversations with Chrollo, Uvogin, and Nobunaga, it was clear that Morin also possessed powers unknown to the others.

In terms of strength, he was undoubtedly superior.

They had no reason to object.

As for Feitan:

"Whatever," he muttered, his gaze shifting elsewhere, slightly evasive.

Before Morin's arrival, Feitan had doubted his abilities.

But seeing Uvogin and Nobunaga standing before him, unhard and singing Morin's praises—along with the rumor that the Elder's quarters had been wrecked—those doubts vanished.

In fact, a hint of respect had started to form.

Still, having just expressed his skepticism, Feitan was a bit embarrassed by how quickly he'd been proven wrong. After all, he was only a 13-year-old tsundere at heart.

"What about you, Morin?"

Chrollo's gaze swept the group, his smile calm.

"It seems everyone supports you."

Morin was quiet for a mont.

He saw the anticipation in Uvogin and Nobunaga's eyes, the curiosity and approval in Franklin and Pakunoda's expressions, and the faint unease in Feitan's deanor.

"Alright."

Morin suddenly smiled brightly, accepting the position.

"Vice leader of the Phantom Troupe, huh?"

A small grin tugged at the corners of his mouth.

"Looks like I've officially boarded this pirate ship."

The Phantom Troupe—destined to beco one of the most notorious criminal organizations in the world, its mbers labeled as A-rank criminals.

Becoming part of it ant being hunted globally and branded a criminal.

But so what?

This wasn't a world of simple black and white.

What was justice? What was evil?

Heroes or villains—it didn't matter.

Even the Zoldyck family, the world's most notorious assassins, blatantly displayed their location for all to see.

A criminal dynasty, standing proudly on Kukuroo Mountain.

Had anyone tried to destroy them? No.

Did the V5 not know of their existence? Of course, they did.

Yet they turned a blind eye.

Not only the V5 but also the public treated the Zoldycks indifferently. Their Gates of Hell even beca a famous tourist attraction in the Republic of Padokea.

The reason was simple: strength.

The Zoldycks' unmatched power earned them their place, even commanding the V5's wary respect.

Their strength made them untouchable, their infamy a badge of pride.

In this morally ambiguous world, strength was the true asure of freedom.

The Phantom Troupe and the Zoldycks were similar in many ways.

One killed for desire; the other, for money.

Ultimately, both acted on personal ambition, neither pretending to be virtuous.

Their mbers accepted this reality, ready to die for their choices without complaint.

Morin had already resolved to live by his own rules upon realizing he was in the world of Hunter x Hunter.

To him, justice or criminality didn't matter.

He cared only about one thing: living freely and joyfully.

Black or white—what difference did it make?

So why not beco the vice leader of the Phantom Troupe?

"Well then, Chrollo," Morin chuckled lightly, "isn't a spider's head supposed to have only one brain?"

"But," he added with a smirk, "even a brain has two halves: left and right."

Chrollo, amused, made a rare joke of his own.

"Well then, now we have both a leader and a vice leader," he said with a smile. "But let clarify sothing."

"The team isn't ant to shackle its mbers. Except for major events requiring everyone's presence, mbers are free to act independently."

"To ensure our team remains at its best, once we have 13 mbers, anyone who wishes to join in the future…"

Chrollo's expression turned serious.

"…will need to kill an existing mber to take their place."

The group's reactions varied.

Uvogin grinned, while Feitan scoffed arrogantly, his confidence unwavering.

Neither could imagine being replaced.

"All for the sake of the Troupe's existence," Morin mused.

Clearly, this rule wasn't just about ensuring the Troupe's strength. It was also ant to push its mbers to stay vigilant.

After all, being replaced by soone stronger would be humiliating.

Chrollo continued, "If a mber dies for other reasons, I'll personally seek out a replacent."

His gaze swept over everyone as he concluded:

"That's the foundation of my vision."
