"Is it because I can no longer perform divinations for others that Father thinks I'm worthless now?!"

Born into a mafia family and having never known her mother, Neon had watched her father rise to power using her divination abilities. In this regard, she was particularly sensitive.

Ever since Chrollo stole her divination Nen ability, Neon hadn't successfully written a divination for anyone. This led to her father, Light Nostrade's, dreams of climbing the social ladder being dashed.

Without divination, the Nostrade family was instantly reduced to its original state—a third-rate, small-ti mafia group that had only risen due to good fortune and a talented daughter with a special ability.

People are realistic, especially in the mafia. Over the years, there were plenty who envied the Nostrade family. In their climb, they inevitably pulled so people down or competed for others' spots, stepping on others to rise. This resulted in the Nostrade family accumulating many enemies over the years. Though they seed glamorous and prosperous, they were, in reality, a house of cards.

Once the news spread that Neon could no longer divine, other mafia families pounced like hungry wolves, ready to tear the Nostrade family apart. It was all thanks to Kurapika's strategies and wisdom that they managed to fend off wave after wave of malicious attacks.

Of course, it also helped that most of the prominent mafia families were swept clean in Yorknew City by Morin. After the death of the Ten Dons, the remaining mafia families were more focused on vying for the Ten Dons' positions and power, which made it easier for Kurapika to handle them. He even had ti to bring Neon to watch the matches.

However, after the incident, watching the matches was out of the question, and it was best to hurry ho. Once the robots at the arena malfunctioned, Kurapika, along with the bodyguards, shielded Neon and made an early exit. During their escape, Kurapika had already arranged for an airship, and it wouldn't take long to leave.

"It's a pity I didn't get to say hello to Gon, Killua, and Leorio..."

Kurapika looked back at the enormous building with so regret. But there was no choice. Since he chose this path, he could only continue down it.

At the top of the Heavens Arena tower, Netero slowly withdrew his palm. A massive crater had appeared where Jed once stood. Under the first strike of the 100-Type Guanyin Bodhisattva, Jed had no resistance and was struck into the pit.

"Cough... It still has such power, though slightly weaker, but you can still feel it..."

In the pit, Jed grasped the soil beside him with one hand. "Each strike is infused with his complete understanding of martial arts. Although the power has diminished, his mastery of martial arts has only grown."

Jed thought silently. Such a Netero was undoubtedly more terrifying. rely relying on brute force, he was inherently at a disadvantage against a true martial arts master like Netero. Perhaps he really would repeat the defeat from sixty years ago and fall once more at Netero's hands.

"How can I accept this?!"

Realizing this, Jed clenched his fists tightly, grabbing the soil with force. After coming so far, initially controlling Netero, everything seed smooth and under control. But at this critical mont, they stumbled, encountering what could be the only obstacle.

And this single obstacle rendered all their efforts and struggles futile. This was simply...

"Completely unforgivable!!"

Suddenly, Jed's voice roared from the pit with all his might!

Boom!!

His entire body was enveloped in a dense, almost tangible aura of resentnt, with ghostly blue-black flas burning all over him. Jed leaped out of the pit, not even glancing at Netero. Instead, he fixed his gaze on Morin, standing there. He recalled every detail of their previous encounters.

First, Morin had dodged his attacks with an odd cloak, then a strange shield had blocked his assault. Next, he was bombarded by a so-called turret, leaving him in a sorry state. Then ca the peculiar crayon that turned him into a bizarre, unrecognizable figure. Finally, when he summoned the Hundred Ghosts Raksasa, it was completely stripped and sealed away.

As Jed sumd it all up, he suddenly realized he had always been on the losing end, without gaining any advantage in their battles. Not only that, but he had also been toyed with in such a miserable manner. Ultimately, it was Morin who released Netero, causing all his efforts to vanish into thin air.

---

One could say that the true culprit behind the thwarting and destruction of his revenge was the young, handso man standing before him!

He must kill this man, and in the most brutal and ruthless manner, send him straight to hell!!

Jed's dark, golden-colored eyes seed to shimr with a blood-red hue, revealing his tumultuous emotions.

"Even if Netero defeats again, it doesn't matter. Before that happens, I will drag you down with !"

His voice, filled with deep-seated hatred, echoed across the night sky. The tone suggested that the person before him was his mortal enemy, a sentint so intense it could move anyone to tears.

Like the plaintive cry of a cuckoo or the mournful wail of a gorilla, it was laden with profound, searing hatred...

Then, the black flas didn't target Netero but instead directed all their power toward Morin, who stood there.

Just as he declared, Jed was willing to risk everything to drag Morin, the one who had ruined his plans, down to hell with him!

"Coming straight for ? You really hold in high regard."

Seeing this, Morin chuckled softly, showing no surprise. He calmly stepped back.

Netero initially intended to stop Jed, but seeing Morin's nonchalant deanor and his carefree actions, he hesitated. He decided not to use the 100-Type Guanyin Bodhisattva just yet, choosing instead to wait and see how Morin would respond.

"Can he still fight or use tools?"

Netero's beard fluttered in the night breeze as he glanced at Morin.

"Using that strange horn, you controlled and sealed Jed's Hundred Ghosts Raksasa, then helped lift the restrictions and vows on myself. With such extensive tool usage, your Nen and aura must be nearly depleted."

"Do you still have the strength and remaining Nen to wield a tool and resist Jed's attack?"

Netero pondered silently. Of course, his inaction didn't an he would allow Jed to attack Morin unchecked. At the slightest deviation, he would intervene imdiately.

"Now, haven't you run out of extra aura and Nen?"

Jed, too, could see Morin's current state. His voice was icy cold.

"I wonder what you'll use to wield other tools now! No matter what, you're destined to accompany to the grave, and you'll die before I do."

The blue fla-covered fist tore through the air, ripping through the night wind, and with intense resentnt, it hurtled towards Morin's head. The distance between them was already minimal.

"Did you really think I'd leave myself without a backup plan?!"

Seeing Jed's attack and the fist about to land on his head, Morin suddenly laughed.

"I've said it before, never underestimate a tool user's trump card!!"

As he finished speaking, another object appeared in Morin's hand. An ordinary-looking object.

A wish-level tool! [Lucky Playing Cards]!! A bug-exploiting wish thod!!

It was an ordinary deck of playing cards, much like the consumables Hisoka could use as weapons at any ti. They looked just like the ones used in regular gas.

But?

In Morin's hands, a deck of cards that could be used at such a critical mont was clearly anything but ordinary.

"Restore all my Nen and aura."

Morin spoke softly, as if addressing soone unseen. In the next instant, a powerful aura surged from his body!!

Swish!!

Morin's form vanished instantly, allowing Jed's attack to crash into the ground, creating a massive crater. Debris flew, and dust filled the air, obscuring vision.

Yet Jed seed unaffected, his eyes locked onto a specific spot ahead.

"His Nen is restored..."

Jed's pupils widened slightly, disbelief flashing within them:

"How is this possible?!"

"Why wouldn't it be possible?"

Morin's languid tone reached Jed's ears, as his silhouette erged from the dust cloud, surrounded by a vast aura.

"I told you, never underestimate the trump cards and backup plans of a tool user."

Morin chuckled softly, mimicking Hisoka as he shuffled the deck of cards in his hands like a violinist.
