In order to get Bruce to write his thesis seriously, Schiller arrived at Wayne Tower that evening with an umbrella in hand.

However, he didn't intend to deal with the adversary like Superman, beating them up at the slightest provocation. Such a noisy and forceful approach would attract too much attention.

With so speculations about the identity of the adversary, given the nurous clues from previous incidents, Schiller knew that dealing with tonight's opponent wouldn't be suitable for brute force. So, he didn't summon Moonlight Schiller and decided to handle it himself.

After leaving the school, he transford into a grey mist, like a gust of wind through the streets, causing no ripples.

At this mont, there was no one left in Wayne Tower. The lights in window after window went out until the once most brilliantly lit building in Gotham beca engulfed in darkness, rging with the rainy night.

As the gentle breeze traversed through layers of streets, reaching the entrance of Wayne Tower, a notice fluttered in the wind, clearly stating, "Today, the entire building's electrical circuit will be inspected, and power will be cut off after 6 PM."

Without electricity, work couldn't proceed. Employees had already gone ho early, but an unexpected visitor had arrived even earlier.

In the corridor on the 13th floor of Wayne Tower, a figure moved slowly. Judging from his footsteps, he seed hesitant, sensing that today's situation was sowhat different from usual.

Normally, Wayne Tower wouldn't turn off its lights so early. Many rooms in the building remained lit all night, even with fewer people around at night.

But today, there was nothing. The only companionship he had was the howling cold wind outside and the increasing sound of rain.

The oppressive feeling brought by the typhoon, unlike the usual sea breeze, remained undiminished after the storm swept in from the sea. It advanced relentlessly, as if the Steel Jungle constructed by humans was still powerless before it.

As the violent wind blew past the steel skyscraper, eerie sounds echoed, resembling cries. When the first thunderbolt struck, the furtive figure was startled.

A bright white light illuminated the night sky for a mont, revealing the figure.

He was a young man, wearing a tight-fitting uniform. From the outside, he seed ordinary, but he held a strangely shaped gun in his hand.

When the lightning struck, he instinctively fired into the void. Instantly, a shining fragnt appeared in the room. He took three quick steps and entered the shard.

After a while, realizing there was no danger, the figure reappeared, sighed in relief, shook his head, and resud searching the offices of Wayne Tower.

If soone had read the Thunderbolt series of comics, they would likely recognize him by now. This adversary, causing headaches even for Batman, was called Mirror Master.

As the na suggests, Mirror Master could travel through mirrors or any reflective surfaces. He also possessed a mirror gun that could create mirrors for spatial travel. Additionally, he could create multiple mirror images to confuse opponents. In the early comics, he could even generate intense flashes to catch Thunderbolt off guard.

At this mont, Mirror Master was ransacking the office of Wayne Tower because he had previously focused on searching the Materials room, where he thought important materials might be. However, finding nothing, he continued searching systematically.

He had no intention of finishing quickly because he could leave at any ti, and no one could stop him. As for Bruce Wayne, he was just a wealthy person, and Mirror Master could trap him in the mirror space at any mont; all he needed to do was shatter the mirror.

While Mirror Master was intensely focused on examining the materials, suddenly, he caught a glimpse of a dark shadow from the corner of his eye.

Turning his head, Mirror Master saw nothing. He thought it might be an illusion caused by the wind moving the curtains.

However, this made him slightly nervous. The environnt inside Wayne Tower was indeed terrifying at this mont.

The entire building had lost power, aning there was no light. Typically, even without turning on the lights, the glass curtain walls of the building would still have moonlight shining through, barely allowing a view of the interior. But not in Gotham.

Gotham was a city where the moon and sun were rarely visible. The sky was often covered with thick clouds, blocking out all light, not to ntion it was currently raining.

The 13th floor where Mirror Master was located was an awkward level, far from the ground, making it difficult for streetlights to illuminate. Moreover, the floor wasn't high enough to have a distant view of the lighthouse. Unluckily, the room Mirror Master was in faced east, and there was another building nearby, almost completely blocking any light.

In almost complete darkness, a person's mind would beco highly concentrated, and their perception of subtle movents would increase, easily amplifying any paranoia.

Mirror Master's eye contact was no longer as focused. He picked up a set of docunts, and as his eyes scanned, he glanced to the side, seemingly observing the state of the curtains.

Suddenly, a noise ca from his left. In the dark room, it was especially clear. Mirror Master imdiately set aside the docunts, assuming a defensive posture. Upon closer inspection, he saw that a paper cup had fallen from the table.

Walking over, he picked up the paper cup and brought it closer to his eyes. Upon examination, he noticed so stains on it.

Mirror Master initially thought it might be coffee stains from drinking, but as the paper cup got closer, he slled a strong scent of blood.

With a "snap," he threw the paper cup against the glass. Mirror Master swallowed hard, took two steps back, and turned to leave.

But at that mont, a strange "creak" sound was heard. A gust of wind blew in through the open window, and the cold wind made Mirror Master feel a chill down his spine. It was then that he realized he was drenched in cold sweat.

Investigating in the dark not only required superpowers but also demanded a person to have a strong will and the courage to face unexpected situations without fear.

Not everyone is Batman, lurking only in the dark nights of Gotham. Mirror Master cos from the central city, where the sun shines brightly, and the weather is good. Therefore, he has never stayed alone in a room without any light on such a terrifying typhoon night.

Once a person starts feeling scared, their mind becos unsettled and confused. Mirror Master is no exception. He just wants to leave the room quickly. While walking forward and looking back, he doesn't notice a ballpoint pen on the floor beside his foot.

He steps on it, shifts his weight forward, and the ballpoint pen slides backward like a rolling ball. With a "bang," Mirror Master falls to the ground.

Frantically getting up, he takes out his handgun and waves it at the air, saying, "Co out! I see you! Get out quickly! Don't make shoot!"

The only response is the mournful howl of the night wind outside the window.

Mirror Master's lips tremble, and after a while, he fires another shot and enters the world inside the mirror.

After calming down a bit, he feels that he may have overreacted. Perhaps the window wasn't closed tightly, letting the wind blow in. The sll on the paper cup might just be his imagination. If he runs away like this, it might be a bit embarrassing.

People in a safe environnt tend to overestimate their courage, like those who boldly pledge to enter a haunted house.

Mirror Master peeks out again, finding everything calm. He steps out of the mirror, ready to leave the office. However, at this mont, he hears two "whoosh" sounds.

Suddenly turning around, Mirror Master sees that the curtains have closed by themselves, covering all the glass.

In his field of vision, a breeze, accompanied by thin mist, passes through the center of the office.

Suddenly, from the farthest desk from Mirror Master, a stack of A4 papers is blown into the air, dancing in the sky.

Mirror Master looks up to see all the papers creating eerie arcs and flying towards a target.

The glass partitions between the desks are completely covered in paper, and all the stainless steel glass cups that would reflect light are also wrapped.

The A4 papers, like mysterious footsteps, do not stop their advance. They fly towards the glass walls and doors of the entire office, covering them completely.

Just as Mirror Master raises his hand, he feels a sharp pain. With a "snap," the mirror gun in his hand is knocked away.

Now in a panic, he turns to run, but suddenly, an A4 paper is glued to his face. He hastily removes the A4 paper.

But soon, he sees that the A4 papers stuck to the glass start showing strange smiling faces.

In the almost completely dark office, Mirror Master can only see one eerie smiling face after another spreading towards him. The strong sll of blood cos, and at this mont, he realizes he has nowhere to escape.

He runs to the door, but it's locked. The mirror gun falls on the other side of the office, but that area is covered with papers with smiling faces.

All reflective objects are covered, rendering his ability useless. Moreover, fear has made him unable to make the right judgnts.

Leaning against the door, he sits on the floor. In the mont when the flying papers reach him, he shields his arms in front of him and lets out a scream.

Then, he sees the tip of a knife appearing in the center of his forehead. A man holding an umbrella stands in front of him, and Mirror Master slowly raises his hands.

Gasping for breath, he stares at the man in front of him and asks, "Who...who are you? How did you get here?"

"This is the question I should be asking you," Schiller says, opening his mouth. "Here, you are the uninvited guest."

"Are you Wayne? Oh, no, you can't be Wayne. Who are you? Aren't you also an uninvited guest?" Mirror Master raises his tone, speaking with a mix of hostility and fear.

Schiller keeps his eyes closed because he knows that Mirror Master can enter a person's eyes temporarily blind them by the reflection of the pupils.

"You shouldn't be here," Schiller says, bringing the knife closer to Mirror Master, deliberately waving it in front of his eyes.

Feeling Death approaching, Mirror Master desperately wants to escape, but there are no reflective objects left in the room except for the knife in front of him.

The knife fixed at the front of the umbrella has a smooth tal surface that can reflect light even in dim environnts, like a mirror.

In an instant, Mirror Master activates his ability, takes a step forward, and invades the umbrella knife.

The next second, he screams and falls to the ground, surrounded by a black mist of curses.

In the midst of the pain, he sees a knife blade lodged in the gap less than three centiters from his ear.

A cold, indifferent voice, like thunder, explodes in his ears, completely breaking down Mirror Master's psychological defenses.

"This is a curse. If not lifted, you will undoubtedly die within twenty-four hours."
