Listening to the voice behind her, Vita imdiately raised her hands high and turned around, looking at Kevin behind her.

Kevin's body erupted with an astonishing chill.

It was practically telling her in plain terms that she had better be honest; any sudden movents, and she would be frozen into an ice sculpture and smashed to pieces.

"Now, friend, let say this first: I surrender." Vita's face carried a hint of helplessness and a sowhat ingratiating smile. The fact that the other party could appear behind her completely undetected proved one thing.

The other party's strength was greater than hers—much, much greater. Furthermore, there was absolutely no need for her to take the bla for sothing she didn't even do.

If Sa had the ability, she should co and resolve it herself. In any case, just don't drag her into it.

Just then, the door suddenly opened, and Yixin ran in from the outside. Just as she was about to say sothing, she saw Kevin.

"You, who are you? How did you get in? How co I've never seen you before?" Yixin looked at Kevin standing behind Vita, then recalled the violent tremor from just a mont ago.

"Mm, but you probably aren't a good person, right?"

"No, that's not it, Yixin. Um, this is considered a friend." Vita hastily covered Yixin's mouth, then pushed her out the door.

"A friend I t outside. He probably ca to give a little surprise this ti. You guys go deal with the others first; their entry this ti was indeed slightly rough."

"But?" Yixin looked at the white-haired youth before her, who was radiating an astonishing chill, so much so that even the ground was slowly beginning to freeze. This absolutely did not look like a friend; he looked more like he ca to pick a fight, or perhaps to commit a robbery.

"Be good, I can resolve this very quickly." Vita hastily pushed little Yixin outside, closed the door, and turned back to look at Kevin behind her.

Vita raised her hands. The opposing party had already co knocking, and a certain soone didn't even dare to utter a single word right now. She was just a weak, pitiful, and helpless Agent; what could she possibly do? Surrendering early might at least allow her to retain so dignity.

"Let say this first: I surrender. It was Sa who shot down the spaceship; it has nothing to do with . I'm only in charge of managent. I have never done anything to little Griseo. I beg you to see the truth."

She knew very well who the other party was, or rather, what he ca to do. It wasn't as if she hadn't reviewed the data regarding that spaceship; she recognized the person before her.

Kevin, the strongest warrior of that civilization. He had once fought against Finality and survived, even managing to inflict... what should be considered effective damage.

His combat power was incredibly astonishing. Even if the other party appeared to be lacking, or hadn't drawn his proud weapon, it still didn't seem like soone she could just defeat like that.

"Where is Griseo?" Kevin looked at Vita before him. He wasn't buying this act. The chilling air around him condensed in his hand, imdiately forming a dark ice greatsword, which he raised to Vita's face.

"I won't ask a second ti."

Vita imdiately nodded in a panic, like a pestle pounding garlic. "Please co with . Rest assured, she is fine. Um, it's just that she might be slightly different from what you expect."

"Hm?" Kevin listened to Vita's words with so confusion, but he still rested the greatsword on Vita's shoulder, signaling her to stop talking and lead him there.

Vita smoothly received this signal, nodded, and then turned around. But before going out the door, she pointed outside, gesturing that there were many children out there and asking if he could...

But Kevin simply rested the greatsword coldly against Vita's neck. He didn't trust the person in front of him. Even if she looked sowhat similar to his good friend, the things they had done destined her to not be the sa person as Su.

Not a good person, but an enemy. Knowing this was already enough for Kevin. If he didn't still need the other party to locate Griseo, Kevin would have directly beheaded her earlier.

"Alright, alright, let's go then." Seeing that she couldn't gain any leeway, Vita could only helplessly lead the way. As soon as she stepped out, Vita used her abilities so that the other little Vitas would see a relatively normal scene.

Although Kevin sensed the other party's actions, once he confird this person was only using her abilities to make those children ignore him, he didn't intervene further.

In the end, Vita very honestly led Kevin to the scenic area, or rather, to the spaceship that had been shattered back then.

The door of the stasis pod slowly slid open with a soft click, and cold white mist poured out like an awakening breath.

Griseo opened her eyes, her purple eyes blinking with so confusion. She propped herself up against the pod wall and sat up, her long blue hair falling over her shoulders like a waterfall.

Her clothes clung to her distinctly matured bodily curves. The childish figure of the past had long since faded, replaced by the slender grace of a young woman.

"How long... have I slept?" Griseo shook her head, feeling that this hibernation had been exceptionally long. Soon after, she sensed a familiar color in her surroundings.

Looking up, she saw Kevin standing nearby, holding a greatsword. As she looked at his figure, Griseo also noticed that, upon seemingly confirming her safety, Kevin's originally tense shoulders relaxed for a fraction of a second.

"Uncle... Kevin?" Griseo's voice carried uncertainty. How could Uncle Kevin be here?

"Sothing happened, so I ca looking for you." Kevin held his greatsword, looking at the young woman before him who was completely different from his mories.

Unlike the tender and innocent little painter in his mory, the person before him was already a graceful young woman. Although traces of her past self could still be seen in her features, what was more prominent was an aura that belonged uniquely to Griseo.

"Griseo," Kevin looked at Griseo and said softly. "You've grown up."

"It really is Uncle Kevin?" Griseo stepped carefully out of the stasis pod. "Did I sleep for a long ti?"

"A long ti. It must have been a long ti." Kevin nodded, then glanced at Vita beside them. Truth be told, he really wanted to chop her down with a single swing of his sword. But he could sense that there was a very powerful entity lurking and spying nearby.

That entity would not be easy to deal with. He had not yet returned to his pri, nor did he have a handy weapon. He lacked the confidence to eliminate her while also protecting Griseo at the sa ti.

If he hadn't found her, that would have been one thing. But now that he had found her, it was impossible for him to let Griseo suffer any more harm.

"Co with . I'll explain on the way." Kevin shot a glance at Vita, who was huddled in the corner putting on a 'don't look at , I'm completely harmless' act.

This person was relatively well-behaved. After confirming she wasn't trying to pull any tricks, Kevin looked at Griseo. "Is there anything you need to bring along?"

"Mm, wait a mont, Uncle Kevin." Although she hadn't fully grasped what was happening yet, Griseo had, after all, experienced the various disasters of the Previous Era. Her adaptability had long been tempered.

Anyway, with Uncle Kevin by her side, she could finally relax. As for what to bring, Griseo looked around the cabin.

Most of the items were for painting, used to pass the ti during the long journey. There was no need to bring them.

Thinking this, Griseo walked to the other side of the stasis pod and took out a rather thick-looking paintbrush from a compartnt.

After drawing in the void to confirm its functions were normal, Griseo—under Kevin's sowhat strange gaze—pressed a button. A bright pillar of light, or rather, a lightsaber, popped out from the top of the paintbrush.

"Vill-V's work?" Kevin looked at Griseo, who was toying with the lightsaber. He didn't really need to ask; that paintbrush was obviously the work of Teacher Vill-V at first glance. The style was simply too distinct.

"Mm." Griseo nodded. "Because I was a bit bored, I watched the movies Sister Vill-V downloaded for ..."

"Alright, say no more." Kevin shook his head. He had no interest in those things. As long as Griseo was alive and safe, that was enough. As for these minor details, they could be discussed later.

"Let's go." Kevin placed his hand on Griseo's shoulder. Subsequently, massive Honkai energy erupted beside Kevin, forcefully tearing open a passage leading to the Sea of Quanta within this Bubble Universe.

The rift then quickly closed, leaving no trace of the two behind. Seeing Kevin disappear, Vita let out a sigh of relief. "Wow, that really scared Little Vita to death."

That man was truly terrifying. To think he forcefully tore open a rift... This place was a Bubble Universe, true, but after so many years of reinforcent, it shouldn't have been so easily torn open.

As expected of the man who could make Sa fearful.

Just as she was thinking this, Vita suddenly felt another powerful will intervene in these worlds. Upon feeling that will, Vita let out a sigh.

"Sigh, alright, alright. It's another task, right? What kind is it this ti?"

- Anti-Entropy Radical Faction Headquarters

Cocolia looked at the darkened screen before her, her expression sowhat gloomy.

A few minutes ago, her communication with Einstein and Tesla had just ended. It seed like a simple routine report, such as discussing the recent status of the dicine.

But as they chatted, Einstein suddenly brought up Sin Mal and inford her that Sin had been captured by St. Freya and was likely currently imprisoned on the Hyperion.

She asked if Cocolia had any idea about this. Of course she did! Sin had only gone to the Hyperion because of her orders.

Except she had clearly equipped Sin with an auto-dispersing virus. That was sothing she had acquired from World Serpent. It should have guaranteed that Sin wouldn't be discovered when entering areas without high security levels.

Could it be that Sin ran straight into a Valkyrie squad? Impossible. With Sin's abilities, how could she be caught by ordinary Valkyries?

Far away at St. Freya, Little Corruption, who was currently resting, sent a smiley face emoji. She had shut that thing off the mont she spotted Sin. It was just a terribly garbage virus anyway.

Therefore, she didn't even bother telling Irene. Moreover, one could say that without that auto-dispersing virus, Little Corruption might not have discovered the little spy sneaking onto the Hyperion so quickly.

Because for her, that signal was simply too obvious.

Cocolia clenched her fists, her gaze sowhat shifty. She could tell that Einstein and Tesla were trying to provoke her into taking action.

For instance, getting her to invade St. Freya again. Perhaps she was overthinking it, and the two of them were simply reminding her out of their partnership.

She didn't know, and she didn't want to know. Her daughter was locked up, so she had to go save her. It was just a bit troubleso that she was imprisoned on the Hyperion.

That was, after all, one of Schicksal's flagships, and St. Freya's combat strength was also formidable. But she had to go anyway; this was her duty as a mother. Furthermore...

Seele might also be at St. Freya. If she could be rescued, it would be worth it. She already had three daughters inside St. Freya.

Moreover, those guys were getting sowhat dissatisfied with her recent massive expenditures to fund the research of the Conservative Faction's Einstein and Tesla.

Even though she had demonstrated the power of the Honkai Resistance Enhancer to those bastards, they were still discontent and had even more demands of her.

After all, this was real money. They always wanted these funds to yield a hundred or even a thousand percent return. Not to ntion, if this money had gone to their own research institutions, there naturally wouldn't have been any problems.

But it had been handed over to the Conservative Faction's Einstein and Tesla. Their grievances about this couldn't be silenced just by the Honkai Resistance Enhancer.

Or rather, they completely lacked an understanding of just how precious and incredibly rare this dicine truly was. Even she didn't know how Einstein and Tesla had managed to develop such a reagent.

In fact, recently they had been applying pressure, wanting to steal Einstein and Tesla's research data to give to their own scientists to study.

But did they think she hadn't already tried that? The problem was that her scientists simply couldn't understand it! Faced with the analyzed chemical components, those scientists were just short of dropping to their knees and crying that they couldn't do it.

However, even if she explained this to those guys, they wouldn't understand. They would only assu the scientists weren't trying hard enough, and these dissenting voices were growing louder and louder.

She had no choice. She had to do sothing that aligned with their expectations to shut them up. Otherwise, they could prop her up today and kick her down tomorrow.

And attacking a Schicksal branch should align with their expectations, right? Besides, she had been exploited almost to the breaking point by Tesla and Einstein over these past two days.

She might as well use this excuse to siphon a bit more funding from those people's hands.

After confirming the excuse she could use, Cocolia stood up and looked up at the orphanage photo album she had only recently brought out. Staring at the cover, Cocolia spoke in a deep voice.

"Just wait a little longer. Very soon, we will be able to reunite."
